Disclaimer: I don't own Ranma 1/2, which is owned by Rumiko Takahashi. I also don't own Dragon-Half, which is owned by Ryuusuke Mita. I do own Chin though. Chin is my personal bitch. I will make him suffer for a very long time.
Author Notes: Chinese is in <these> everything else is Japanese unless I add it here in the notes. Because of the confusing nature of sexes, give me time to work out a system dealing with the water changes. This story has sexual themes, but I hope it doesn't go over the NC-17 rating. I have no idea if I will ever do a lemon chapter so don't ask.

Chin was having a bad day. First, he lived in one of the most back water parts of China, therefore didn't have a truck to take his family's crop of vegetables to the market. Instead he had to deal with Slow Lin, the family donkey. Said donkey was right now in the back of his cart with a lame leg. Unlike richer families, Chin's parents could barely afford the seed for the fields, let alone a new donkey so that left Chin with a cart of vegetables rotting in the sun with a donkey eating what was left as it laid on top of said rotting food stuffs.
As he sat by the road trying to find a way to get home Chin thought how could his life get any worse for a 13 year old kid just trying to make a bit of money? This proved to be the wrong thought in the wrong place and time.
It started as a slight noise in the distance down the road. Sort of a high pitch wail on the wind. Turning his head toward the sound Chin saw what he thought was a low flying red bird coming toward him with a large cloud of dust coming up behind the bird.
Chin's eyes went wide as the sight grow closer. <“Wait,”> said Chin, <“That isn't a bird, it's a girl!!”>
A flying red head to be precise with strange bat wings coming out of her back, horns on her head and a short red lizard tail. The gi she wore had seen better days seeing as the top was in tatters and left nothing to the imagination of the flying girl's assets and the pants were not much better. Sort of stuck to her shoulder were a strange purple lump with wide eyes and a mouth yelling at the girl.
“Move it boy! They are still behind us!” screamed the strange lump in the girl's face.
“I'm tryin old man! Damnit if ya had just stayed off the old grandma's face we woulda lost them by now!” yelled the girl back at the lump.
Turning her head front she spotted Chin standing like a lump next to his cart.
“Move out of the way unless you like arrows kid!” she screamed as she flew past.
Chin blinked twice still staring at the sight of the girl's lizard tailed behind and noted to himself that she was a natural red head as the strange pair quickly faded in the distance down the road. He then turned to the sound of charging behind him. That is when the world decided to rain arrows on him. Mercy was good to him as none of the arrows hit him but the ground around him went from bare dirt to sprouting fletchings all around him and his cart.
Flying, half naked girls are one thing, but blood thirsty Chinese amazons charging with weapons bared and arrows flying are something to make any young man question why he got up this morning.
<”After the beast, warriors! She and her familiar will DIE like the monsters that they are!”> screamed the dried up looking monkey woman from the back of a large Amazon. <”Faster Dowel, the monsters are getting away!”>
This was a bad thing because the giant woman was running strait toward his cart and didn't show any signs of slowing down or turning. It suddenly flashed in poor Chin's mind that if that Amazon hit his cart a lame donkey would be the last of his worries. His family would fall below the poor line and end up beggars before they could earn up enough money to repair or replace the cart. That or they would have to marry him off to the rich Hand family with that really ugly girl with the lisp and rail thin body. He could NOT lose the cart! So, like many young boys that dream of being heroes and finding true love he jumped in front of the Amazon Dowel spread his arms wide and screamed, <”STOP!!”>.
Dowel frowned at the young boy that was in her way. With the current speed of her run she was planning on just jumping over the cart instead of the usually Amazon way of smashing it into kindling. Having a person throw themselves in her path though threw off her timing and forced her to jump earlier then she wanted too.
Chin felt like sobbing in relieve as the giant woman sailed over him and his cart with one powerful push of her legs. He failed to note that she wasn't the only Amazon that was there. As his eyes followed Dowel's leap over him he felt two objects ram into both of his arms and smack him against his cart.
Opening his eyes he realized that he had just close lined two amazons behind Dowel who missed the signal to jump. A large sweat drop appeared on his head as the both girls slowly got up off the ground in a daze.
The girls seem to speak all at once. <”I'm Ling-Ling,”> said the one with the red hair. <”I'm Lung-Lung,”> said the one with the green hair. Both girls latched on to each of Chin's arms and almost in tandem said, “Wo ai nee.”
Yes, today Chin should have stayed in bed.

Chapter one: Spring of Drown Dragon-Half?
One week before Chin became a new “member” of the Chinese amazons.
“Here sirs we come to famous cursed training grounds Jusankyo.” The round Chinese tour guide said to the older man in a gi stained yellow and a kerchief around his head that did a poor job of hiding his bald melon. The young man next to him had an equally yellow gi, blue eyes and black hair tied back into a tail.
“Are you ready Ranma?” the bald man said.
“I don't know pops. This place…” Ranma looked around like he was getting ready for an attack, “It just don't seem right.”
“Bah, you're sounding like a girl Ranma. You just afraid that I'll send ya down into the drink before you have a chance to fight back,” gloated the man most knew as Genma.
Ranma bristled at his father, “So ya want ta cool off, do ya pops?” With that statement, Ranma leaps up to the nearest bamboo pole, over the Pools of Sorrow. “Well come and get it old man. I'm waitin.”
Genma scowled at his son. The boy had been a bit uppity lately and it was grinding on Genma's nerves.
Jumping up to a pole next to Ranma he glared at the boy and made a vow that before the first five minutes the overconfident brat would be drinking pond scum. It didn't hurt that Ranma had woken up his “dear old dad” this morning with breakfast by leading a small group of wild boars into his tent while Genma slept.
“'Fresh bacon in the morning is best' my ass.” Grumbled Genma and made his first attack.
Meeting his father in midair and trading blows, Ranma couldn't shake that feeling of wrongness. Also that guide they hired seemed to be shouting something at them. Ranma thought maybe he should listen to the strange china man but pushed it a side as his father started up the battle in earnest.
Meanwhile on the rocky ledges over the pools a young man with a yellow bandana, yellow shirt with more then a few tears in it from heavy use and black trousers that did a poor job of showing the stains of the road watched the father and son battle in interest.
His name was Ryoga, and he was a man that couldn't let go of a grudge. Some two years before he and Ranma went to the same school together. Everything that Ranma did seemed to be solely to embarrass Ryoga, so the young bandana boy did the only thing he could think of at the time which was to challenge Ranma to a duel. Granted it took Ryoga 4 days to reach the spot of the duel and Ranma had headed to China by that time but it was still Ranma's fault for skipping out on the fight.
Fortunately or unfortunately if you want to get technical Ryoga had a small splash of luck. He heard that Ranma and his father had passed through a village near here from a kind old lady selling tea on the side of the road. Apparently the two had stopped at the lady's tea stand and talked about going to Jusankyo then both left without settling the bill. As a kindly old lady she was a bit put out by these “two honorable martial artists” ripping her off, so when a young man shows up looking travel worn, buys some tea (and tips heavy) then asks where he could find two the two thieving bastards and beat them savagely what's a kind old lady to do. She promptly told Ryoga where they were going and drew a map for the boy. After the lady asked why he was going east when Jusankyo was to the north Ryoga had a small burst of inspiration, he told her that he can get lost in a circular room with one door.
“Hmm… sounds like ya could use a Little Sister young man.,” said the old lady.
“Uh, I don't think my parents meet that often to get to work on that madam and how does that help me now?” replied Ryoga.
The old lady chuckled and then turned and whistled. What Ryoga had thought was some type of fussy growth on the tree behind the old lady got up and bound toward the two people. At first Ryoga thought the old lady had some type of pet bear until the thing got closer showing itself as just a really big, fuzzy dog.
The old woman turned back to Ryoga and smiled. “This is Little Sister; she helps me get around and pulls my cart for me. I plan on staying here for a few days and town is only about an hour walk from here. If you promise to bring her back here in 3 days she can show you the way to Jusankyo.”
Dumbfounded Ryoga just nodded. The old lady whispered in Little Sister's ear and the dog walked slowly toward Ryoga, sniffed a few times on his leg then grabbing Ryoga's belt in her mouth started to drag the lost boy toward the Pools of Sorrow and a bit of a twisted fate.
Little Sister proved to be more of a help then he had ever imagined. Every time Ryoga tried to walk a different direction or tried one of his “short cuts” the dog would push him the right way, drag him along or generally herd the lost boy. In fact he had gotten to Jusankyo about 6 hours before Ranma and Genma showed up.
Now with his target below him Ryoga thought of a plan. One beat the hell out of Ranma for skipping the duel. Two, maybe smack Genma around for ripping off an old lady. Three, hit Ranma a few more times to get his point across. Four, head home and have some root beer. Ryoga was not much for complicating things with advance planning.
And with that Ryoga jumped off the ledge at Ranma screaming a wonderfully catchy phrase. “RANMA PREPARE TO DIE!!”
Ranma was about to jump for another round of midair combat with his father when the shout made him look up. Seeing an angry boy about his age flying down foot first toward his head had him jump backwards to avoid the blow. Ranma landed toward the edge of the pools on a worn bamboo pole still trying to figure out who was trying to kill him.
Genma saw this strange boy start attacking his son and during a rare moment of parental concern jumped In front of the lost boy and put himself in between Ryoga and Ranma.
“What's this about young man? Can't you see we are trying to train?” yelled Genma.
This turned out to be a wrong time for Genma to ask questions as the boy leaped toward Genma, drew an umbrella and swung at his head.
“Out of the way fool!” cried Ryoga.
Genma had spent years training but failed in one regard to this attack. He thought it was a normal umbrella so he blocked and prepared for a counter attack. What he wasn't expecting was the umbrella to hit his arm with enough force to knock him 30 feet in the air to land in a small pool of water with a loud splash.
Ranma seeing his father get swatted like a fly took advantage of the old man's distraction and leaped toward Ryoga. With a spinning kick he nailed the lost boy in the back of the head making him go through three bamboo poles, bouncing his head off a rock jutting from the edge of a pool, over a small hill and into some bushes that were hiding a small mud puddle.
Landing lightly on another pole Ranma assessed his situation. Currently he had some psychotic bandana boy trying to kill him, his dad hasn't come up out of the pool he fell into and he didn't have any idea where their guide was off to. Adding up his options, Ranma pushed off to leap toward his father. Two to one odds are better then just one on one, especially if one was a raving lunatic.
What Ranma wasn't counting on was the pole he was currently perched on was one of the oldest in the training grounds. As he readied to leap there was a loud crack and Ranma found that there was no support under him to facilitate his jump.
“Ahh shi-“*SPLASH*
As Ranma broke the pool's surface he could feel that something was wrong. Everything in his body was off. After years of abus- er Training with his dad he had developed a keen sense of how his body was doing at all times. Right now he first noted that it had gotten hotter all the sudden. Almost as if his body temperature had gone up around forty degrees or more. Second, his depth perception seemed to be off, almost like he was smaller in size. Plus there was that strange sight of the cricket on the shore of the pool chirping with its back legs about 20 feet away.
“Dang, never knew that crickets were so ugly. Look at all that spiky fur on it and they- hey, wait, sense when could I see a cricket from this distance like I was looking through a magnifying glass?” Ranma thought.
As these questions raced through his mind he saw their guide running toward him.
Hoping for a bit of clarity on the current situation Ranma looked up at the guide who at that moment seemed to be trying to breathe again.
“One moment” *huff* *huff* “good sir,” wheezed the guide.
The guide seemed to be rushing trying to find something on his person. Then he set down a stack of wooden signs and grabbed one out of the bundle. Looking it over he blew over it to clear of some dust and put it in his hand. Being that the sign was written in Chinese Ranma didn't see the point to all of this but figured he would humor the man.
“Sorry for the wait good sir, this pool not fell into in long time,” remarked the guide. His demeanor immediately changed to a sound of pity. “Oh, to bad sir, you fall into Spring of Drown Dragon-Half. Too, too sad tale of half dragon girl drowning 10,000 year ago as she chase down rival for love. Now when ever you fall in cold water you become half dragon girl.”
At this Ranma looked down and saw two things that he knows he never had at birth. Reaching a shaking hand up he checked and determined that they were both real. Moving his hand behind him he checked that strange feeling he had in the back of his gi pants.
“heh… i have a tail… heh… heh…” Reaching a hand up confirmed the next issue. “oh, and i shouldn't forget the horns… heh.. heh…”
During the shock stage Ranma barely registered that the guide had swung a pole out for him to grab and was currently pulling the new half dragon girl to shore. As Ranma settled down on the bank she (was a formally he) started to giggle incessantly.
The guide seeing that the young girl's mind was about to snap pulled out a kettle of hot water and dumped it on her head producing a steaming male Ranma who looked up at the guide with a look of shock on his face.
“Is only a temporary cure, cold water turn you back into curse form,” explained the guide.
“Are all the pools like this?” Asked Ranma.
“Yes, there is area that is fenced off that has pools no one has drowned in but all pools with poles in them are cursed.”
At that Ranma remembered that his pop had gone flying into a pool from that bandana crazy's first hit.
“Better see what the old man became.” thought Ranma to himself as he got up and walked toward the area his dad landed in.

To say Genma was pissed would be an understatement. When the boy and the guide found him he had to be fished out of the pool with a net the guide carried around with him. Then he totally missed what the guide was saying because the boy was on the ground, laughing and making sort of wheezing choking sounds, then just as he gained control of himself he would start up again after glancing Genma's way.
“What's so funny boy?” Genma asked, “If you don't tell me I'll add on 50 more Km on the next morning run!”
After a moment Ranma slowed down and still chuckling motioned the guide.
“Sorry, sorry,” chuckled Ranma to the guide, “could you repeat what you said to pops here?”
Glaring, the guide replied, “Jusankyo is not laughing matter, very serious curse. No think you should make joke of it.”
“Yah, I hear ya.”
The guide held up a sign in his hand for Genma then squatted down so that he could read it at his new height.
“Oh, to bad sir, you fall into Spring of Drown Slime-Half. Very sad story of half slime girl who drown there 10,000 year ago. Now who ever fall in spring take on body of half slime girl,” said the guide to Genma with as much pity as he could.
“You have got to be joking…” Genma whispered to himself. He moved his hand in front of his face and just saw sort of a tentacle there. Sort of hopping over to the water edge he looked down to see sort of a lump of purple with big eyes and a mouth. Moving his eyes and working his mouth proved that yes, this was his body.
“Hey, how do you know that the spring was cursed by a half slime girl anyway? I can't tell if that body is male or female,” asked Ranma.
The guide picked up the very stunted Genma and pointed under the eyes.
“You see sort of pink blush circles under eyes here? That is how you tell.” replied the guide with a very matter of fact voice.
“Oh, I see now.”
And at that statement Ranma started to laugh hysterically again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~
When the guide, a male Ranma and a half slime Genma (the guide had used up all of his hot water on Ranma) pushed back the bushes where the mysterious young psychopath had landed all they saw was some tracks of what looked like a wolf or large dog dragging something out of what was left of the puddle of mud and running off with it.
The guide looked around for a few moments then turned toward Ranma.
"You sure you kick boy here?" the guide asked him.
"Yup," replied Ranma, "right into these bushes."
"This be very bad then young sir," remarked the guide. "This is Spring of Drowned Short Tempered Demon Brat. Very tragic story of annoying demon child getting head shoved in water by angry girls 11,000 year ago. Angry young man must fell in here. Young sir should watch out because that body has much power."
"I think the "young man" needs a lesson in true martial arts," said Genma from Ranma's shoulder. *That and maybe a few broken bones* thought Genma.
"Hah, and what could you do old man? Make his shoes slimy by sliding over them? Oh, oh!! You could show him your cute little permanent blush and watch him laugh himself to death!" Ranma replied sarcastically to Genma.
"Boy you need to learn some respect for your betters," shouted back Genma.
"Well, when you find one tell me so I can start bowing and scrapping like a dog, old man!" yelled Ranma back.
As both son and dad, turned cute half-slime, glared at each other they heard the guide clear his throat and said, “If dear sirs don't mind, I must tell of this spring to Amazons. This spring was being destroyed because of dangerous nature.”
“What dangerous nature? You said it was just a brat demon. It can't be that bad, can it?” asked Ranma.
Sweat dropping, the guide looked at Ranma. “You have no idea….”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~
Ryoga woke up slowly at first. Where ever he was, he hadn't felt this safe in a long time. It was almost like he was being protected by someone and someone really cared about him. He opened his eyes to darkness and the sight of a girl's breasts. Granted this was helped by the fact said owner of breasts was currently hugging him to her chest and had arms and legs wrapped around him possessively.
As Ryoga's brain tried to comprehend what was going on and wake up at the same time the girl choose that moment to wake up. With a yawn from her Ryoga finally turn to look up at the girl's face. She was attractive with a sort of dusky color skin, freckles on her nose and long, unkempt dark brown hair with a cute little button nose.
Ryoga's brain was screaming something at him to say but the only thing that came out of his mouth was a series of high pitch squeaks.
When the girl heard these noises she looked down at the poor lost boy with kind, innocent brown eyes. As Ryoga was about to go into convulsions, the young girl licked his nose, pulled back and said, “Woof?”
Blood sprayed everywhere as Ryoga passed out once again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~
Six hours earlier just before Ryoga made his leap into fate:
Little Sister was content, resting against a tree as her current charge was staring down into the valley below. The season was uncomfortably warm for an animal with its own fur coat. Suddenly the boy jumped off the ledge to the pools below yelling something that Little Sister didn't understand. All she knew was that the boy master had give the order “Keep safe, lead to pool place” had just done something that she knew by instinct was very stupid.
Shrugging her self up, Little Sister trotted around and down the hill to where her charge currently was attacking two strange humans. Watching, she sees the boy get knocked across the pools and into some bushes. Shaking her head, she made her way to the bushes where Ryoga fell.
Sniffing she found Ryoga's scent, but it also smelled wrong. Following that scent she found the lost boy in a puddle of mud. Any standing water left in the puddle was splashed around the bushes and trees. The poor boy seemed to be smaller then normal which confused Little Sister.
Shaking her nose, she grabbed the boy's shirt collar in her mouth and dragged him out of the mud. With a twist of her neck the small boy was thrown over her back and Little Sister trotted off with her charge.
As she made her way toward the boy's camp she noticed that the heat really was getting to her. Making a few attentive nudges with her nose against the mud crusted small boy she determined that he would be ok a bit longer. A quick sniff in the air and Little Sister headed toward the nearest source of water.
Stopping in front of a wide pool, Little Sister thought that maybe a short dip and drink would help her cool off and get her charge back to his camp where he can wake up and recover. With a quick leap and a splash Little Sister was in the water. Little Sister's head popped back up there was a feeling of wrongness about her that made her need to get out of the pool quickly. She clumsily crawled out of the pool and look around. Everything felt off and the world looked different. After shaking the water off she looked around. Eyes wide, Little Sister turned her head left and right slowly fully taking in the world in color.
Sniffing the air she couldn't pick up any of the smells she was use to. Her body felt really cold now. Shivering, Little Sister patted on all fours to where she had left Ryoga. Putting her front paws on his chest gave her a good look at them. Lifting them in front of her eyes she wiggled the five fingers in her face in amassment. On shaky legs she stood up and looked over her new body. She was one of the hairless ones now! She could get her own dog and be a master and eat at the table! Hey, she could even sleep inside on the bed!
Turning back to Ryoga she got a good look at him. With the sharper eyes of a human she noticed now that the boy was smaller then the first time she met him. It was almost as if he was a child. There was a thin coat of hair all over his body and his hands looked to be clawed now. His ears were long and pointed with tuffs of fur growing from the tips. As she peeked closer she could see little fangs out of his mouth and that he now had a third eye on his forehead. Wiggling her nose she thought about her ward's current appearance. Seeing that she was now a master it sort of made sense that master would become like a dog, but that didn't stop her duty of protecting him and looking after him. Besides, she liked the boy, he smelled of woods and earth, two of her favorite smells. Picking him up with her new arms she made her way back to his camp stepping slowly on two legs.
After ten minutes of tripping through the trees and bamboo she found the camp. It was a lot harder to spot with no nose to guide her. Looking over the lost boy covered in mud her human mind started to work harder then if she was a dog. The boy needed to get out of the wet clothes because he would get cold really quick and she would fail in her duty. Plus, he was a dog now so he didn't have to wear clothes all the time like a human, right?
She fumbled with the muddy shirt as she tugged it off with her mouth. After spitting out the flavor of the mud she looked down at Ryoga noting that he has lost pants and shoes when his size changed. Still he was covered in mud and that wasn't good. Normally she would clean him like she would a puppy but still remembering the flavor of the mud in her mouth as a human she turned to his packs. Fumbling around she finally found his water canteen and after a few minutes figured out how to open it. Seeing master and her ward use these objects before she knew that there was water in it. Poring the water lightly over Ryoga she heard him just whimpered at the cold. She then grabbed Ryoga's last clean shirt and wiped off the lost boy of the dried mud.
She looked down at Ryoga as he shivered from the water evaporating from his new body. Noticing that she too was getting cold she looked at Ryoga and decided that as a human she could sleep in his bedroll and not at the foot of it. Grabbing the little lost boy in her arms she pulled him onto the bedroll with her and dragged over the blanket then promptly went to sleep.
This is how Ryoga found himself a few hours later.
After waking up from the nose bleed he noticed all the changes that his body had gone through. He had determined that the strange, naked girl that was currently sleeping in his bedroll was somehow the large dog, Little Sister that that tea lady had let him borrow. This was easily found out by just checking the collar around her neck and reading the Chinese characters there. What most people didn't know was that Ryoga might lack a sense of direction, but he did know about six languages from all of his travels, Chinese being one of them. Why Little Sister was a human and why he was a short, fuzzy thing about four foot tall with three eyes and claws was still a mystery to him though.
All he was really sure of was that somehow, this was all Ranma's fault. After he got a fire going and some hot food eaten he was going to beat Ranma until he told him how to change himself back to a human and how to return Little Sister back into a dog. Then, he was going to beat Ranma some more.
Hearing some movement from the bed roll he saw Little Sister yawn and stretch from her nap. Turning quickly back to the fire as his pinched his nose, Ryoga also decided that he needed to get Little Sister to wear some clothes. Having an attractive, naked girl do a full body stretch with arms out and hands on the ground with legs strait up was going to kill him if he didn't do something about it.
Sorting through his backpack he found some boxers, his extra set of pants, and some spare shoes. Walking a lot he goes through about 6 to 10 pairs a year so Ryoga kept around 3 or more sets in his pack.
“Great”, thought Ryoga, “I can give her some pants, but my only two sets of shirts are covered in mud and I don't have anything to wear but boxers. That leaves me with some oversized boxers and her topless.”
Pulling some boxers on and tying them secure with a bit of twine from one of the many pockets on his backpack he turned back toward Little Sister with pants in hand for her to wear.
“Hey, Little Sister, come her-“ Ryoga started to say. Currently Little Sister was busy cleaning. Her head peeked up from between her legs with her tongue half out and looked at him with a sign of open curiosity. This had two affects. One it showed Ryoga that she carried her flexibility as a dog pretty well over to her new human form. Second it made Ryoga turn about twelve shades of red just before the world started to fade.
“Crap, I'm passing out! A simple dog is making me pass out!” thought Ryoga. “Wait; if she is just a dog then I shouldn't have to pass out, right? This is natural for her!” With that last thought he dragged himself back to the real world.
Holding his head in his clawed hands Ryoga whispered to himself. “I have to gain control of myself. If I keep on going like this I'll die of blood loss!”
Hearing a whimper beside him Ryoga looked into Little Sisters soft brown eyes. She had patted over to him when she saw him sway with his internal conflict. Ryoga held up a shaking paw like hand and patted Little Sister on her head.
“It's ok girl.” Ryoga said. “I'll find a way to get us both back to normal. You can't help what you are. Ranma will pay for the pain he has giving both of us.”
With that statement Little Sister barked, licked Ryoga on the face and promptly laid her head on Ryoga lap. Ryoga just sat there and twitched, trying not to think about where her tongue was last.
This is where I talk about myself, ideas for the story, and just plain spout out on a soapbox. First, I'm not totally sure if there is a Ranma
