Shayla, Afura and Kauru were enjoying a quiet breakfast at the Shinonome Diner. Nanami stood at their table and chatted with them, after she brought the bill to their table.

"Oh," said Kauru, as she reached into her robes. "It's my turn to pay, isn't it--"

Suddenly, a blackjack, brass knuckles and a switch-blade fell out of Kauru's sleeve.

"Eep!" said Nanami and Afura.

Shayla grinned. "Why are *you* surprised, Afura? This practical joke was *your* idea. Remember?"

"*I* didn't plant those things on her!" said Afura. "Did *you*?"

Shayla turned back to Kauru, and gulped. "Oh boy."
