She remembered tearing off the boy’s head with her vectors, and feeling deep pleasure at the sounds it made. After what he did, was he human?
The girl was her next victim. Why did she deceive her like that? Pretending to cry when laughing cruelly. Behind closed eyes… Was she human?
The innocent ones living their ordinary lives which she murdered in cold blood for a simple shower or food….. Were they human?
The ones at the carnival, when she saw the one she loved with another and turned to the darkness within to escape the pain…. Were they human?
Kouta’s little sister, Kanae. His father. In order for him to share in her pain, she killed them too. They took Kouta away from her, so they died at her hands. Was she human? Was he?
As she lay confined, all of this running through her head, she thought,
“No, they aren’t human, so I haven’t killed anyone.”
