us remind ourselves of the last chapter shall we? Dee's apartment was broken into by a couple of thugs, luckily Dee nor Ryo were there, unfortunately, Bikky and Lai were. Bikky learned somewhat about Lai's 'abilities' and also found out that Lai over exerting them was not very healthy as well. The two along with some other apartment members were kidnapped and later released..... Exceeeeeeeeept Lai, who was held hostage still by the crazed maniacs and the last thing we know was that Lai admitted his love in public, kicked the guy and a gun shot could be heard as he fell out of sight. Then, came the End Chapter: sign and I screamed my head off about poor Lai, even though I know what's going to happen to him.... Bikky felt as he'd never felt before, the pain in his chest over came him in a great uprising. I'm drowning, sinking into the endless depths of pure hell, I can't breath and yet, I still do.... Hot tears welled up and soon were spilling down his cheeks.... Like fire they burn! They hurt with each new sob, make it stop, God, make this stop. He silently said in his mind. Ryo held him, rocking him back and forth like he were a baby meant to be held and cradled. "Everything will be okay, I'm sure Lai's fine, Bikky, I'm sure he'll be okay, Dee's gone up to see. If Lai's hurt in anyway, he'll save him, I'm sure of it." Ryo soothingly stated.

Who's he trying to kid? Lai couldn't survive, not at that range. Bikky was snapped out of his thoughts as Dee came out of the apartment complex, shaking his head, sadly. He's gone, Bikky, gone. Dee came walking over to Bikky and handed him the gun, the same gun that had shot his Lai, his love, his life. Dee was smiling that chestire cat- like grin though, but how could that be? Lai was dead, he shouldn't smile like that! For the first time, Bikky noticed something wrong with the gun, extremely wrong that only in the recesses of his sorrow could he miss. The barrel of the gun was curved upward. Like a hand had twisted it like that. But, Bikky knew better, it had been Lai who had done that. Lai, his Lai was still.... Bikky felt the tears start anew..... Hot warm liquid framed each cheek on his face... Was he? Could he still be? "Is he?" Bikky asked his rising hope evident in his voice.

hugged Dee so tightly that he could have sworn he heard a couple bones pop. He did the same to Ryo before asking where Lai was. "He's asleep in the back of my car right now, Bikky. We'll have to bring him home with us since we couldn't contact his parents, that's okay with you though, right?" Dee asked.
the ba- ba-barrel just......" The man who'd nearly killed Lai was stammering as a couple of Ryo and Dee's partners tossed him into the back of a patrol car.
sure and the tooth fairy is real.... Give me a break..." The officer told him, chuckling lightly.
guy was obviously on meth, or something.... He's a nut- case." Dee commented.
Lai remembered..... Using what little reserve he'd had left to focase all of his energy into one last chance of survival. He'd drawn up a strong shield near his right hand and reached to block the shot..... He'd managed to bend the gun's end up till it was facing the sky above. Then, he fell into darkness, now, as he awoke, though how long after he didn't know, but, with Bikky laying near him. Lai looked at Bikky, just admiring his boyfriend in the early rising sun's light. The way it shifted upon his blonde locks, his perfect lips were open partially and soft, sighing breaths came from his still form. "So, you're awake are you?" Came the soft, quiet voice of Ryo.
Lai replied.
started to stir as Lai spoke. "I understand and am glad that you survived, however, the police down at the station are wondering how in heaven's name you managed to defend yourself. They just don't get it. The guy had no bruises a bent gun that you couldn't possi-" Ryo stopped when Lai made the gesture for him to do so.
I knew that Bikky was away yet, I was still in trouble that my death would be as bad as death could have been for him I didn't want to do that to him. "I- I have P.K. I had to use what little energy I had left to shield myself as best I could and I passed out." He stated, simply. (Do we all understand that that means he can move things with his mind? Good! ^.^ It's a silly reasoning, but easy to work with, he can move himself with his mind!)
held his cup tighter before he had the chance to drop it. "You have what? " He asked.
That's why I don't go to a normal school, I go to a private one for people like me. The teachers there are the same as us too. They were hired so that those of us who're able to, won't cheat off of other's minds, or send mental messages. Other than that, it's a normal school."Finishing his explaination, he sighed.
what an interesting surprise." Ryo said, still just a little in shock over the whole thing.
You couldn't tell?" Dee asked.
How long have you known?" Ryo asked.
day I helped Bikky bust those gang members to save Carol and his little friend. Only, they threw the second one over the building and he ran up and caught her. When I seen how slowly he was coming down, I noted something didn't feel right about the situation.... I dropped something to test my theory, I was right, he'd defied gravity," Dee explained. "Because, no matter what, if you drop something at the same time, even from different heights with different weight, they should fall at same rate."
Shut up so I can sleep in, please...." Bikky mumbled from within the pillow.
right, then, I guess you didn't want to see me anyway, I'll just go back to your dreams where I came from, eh?" Lai asked.
Lai, are you okay? He didn't hurt you at all did he? Lai... Lai? Why are you looking at me like that?" Bikky asked.
oh, I smell something burning, we better go check on that Ryo..." Dee stated, getting up.
I'm not co-" Ryo was cut off yet again.
be silly, of course you were!" Dee said, now dragging Ryo into the kitchen.
kissed Bikky long and passionate upon his open mouthed lips. He then slowly, but, not forcefully placed Bikky's hand on his swollen member. "I lived so I could give you this Bikky," Lai spoke softly, tickling Bikky's ear with his breath. "I'll wait longer if you want, love, I would wait until the end of time if need be."
then spotted Ryo and Dee leaving the apartment. "Where are you guys going?" Bikky asked.
store to pick up a few things." Ryo replied.
a few... Snacks." Dee stated, with a wink and a nearly silent growl from his throat.
