Chapter Twelve: Sunlight's Call…

"Man, I can't believe it's been nearly two weeks since we've heard anything from Leo or Dad…" Dee let his green eyes roam over his lover's body as he came in from the shower. The towel draped low over slim hips, causing the vampire's mouth to water.

"It is strange that we haven't heard anything… No chills, nothing… It's too peaceful. I believe something is brewing and I don't like it at all. No, not at all." The light haired man looked over at his lover, with concern and worry etched in his dark eyes.

Dee stood up and wrapped his arms around his lover's waist, resting his head on the smaller man's shoulder, after he placed a small kiss on his neck. This elicited a shiver to go through the man.

"Dee… We have to concentrate on getting Leo and your father… We have to know what they're up to…" The older man nodded, he knew Ryo was right, they did have to figure out what those other two were planning.

The door swung open and a very irritated-looking Bikky came through the door. Both men turned to face him, and looked shocked.

"Bikky? What's wrong?" Blue eyes met black as the blonde haired hunter came into the room.

"JJ is what's wrong… He won't leave me alone!!!" Dee blinked before bursting into laughter, he had tears streaming down his face because he was laughing so much.

"Dee… It really isn't that funny… Wasn't JJ chasing you not too long ago?" Dee immediately stopped, giving a very irritated look towards his lover.

"I love you too Ryo…" A smile broke out onto the younger man's face at the sarcasm dripping in Dee's voice. The ex-hunter turned back towards Bikky and looked at him.

"What exactly happened?" Ryo looked down at the other man curiously. (A/N: Go to MediaMiner or AdultFanFiction to read the bonus ending to chapter 11 *wink*) Bikky looked up at Ryo and told him the entire story.

Dee and Ryo stood there, still as stone when the young man had finished his story. The dark haired vampire was trying to contain his amusement while the light haired one was trying to think of some advice to help.

"It's okay… I know you guys can't help… I have to face this problem on my own… And Dee, if you laugh, I'll kick your ass." Dee lifted an eyebrow at this, before getting punched by Bikky.

"Bikky… Dee… Calm down…" A sweatdrop formed on Ryo's head as he watched the two of them fight.

"BIKKY!!!" Bikky froze as he looked towards the door. Dee also stiffened in an instinctive motion.

"Shit! JJ!!" The blonde haired boy took off running from the other man. The vampire was right on his heels as they raced out the door.

"That was… odd…"

"But it sure was entertaining as hell…"

"Dee, behave…"

"Awww… come on Ryo…"

"Behave!" A glare accompanied this remark, making the dark haired vampire back down.

They decided to relax and enjoy the afternoon watching TV and whatever.

"Are you sure?" A dark hooded figure looked up at the tall blonde haired, pale skinned man.

"Yes. I'm sure. If you can kill them, I'll give you eternal life." The hooded figure perked up at this, he liked that idea a lot.

"Right… I'll get it done." With that, the figure seemingly melted back into the shadows.

"So, Leo. I see you've gotten a rat to do the dirty work already." The tall dark haired man came out of the shadows, his green eyes twinkling merrily.

"That I did, that I did… What do you think? It is your son that's going to die." Pale eyes turned towards the vampire.

"My son has been dead to me… For quite some time now." Green eyes stayed the same, no remorse or sadness. "But it is your brother that is going to die as well."

"I have no brother. My brother is a weakling who died many years ago." This was said with a great hatred set deep in the tone.

"Alright. What say we go and watch the show?" Pale eyes met green ones, and soon filled with amusement.

"I like that idea. I really do."

"Hah! I win!" Green eyes twinkled merrily at the cards on the table.

"Mou, I think you cheat." Black eyes looked disbelievingly at the cards lying face up on the table.

"How dare you accuse me of cheating… Why I…" Both pairs of eyes narrowed on the window.

"You felt it too huh?"

"Right… We'd best get out of here while we can…" Both men carefully got up from the table and eased over towards the door.

Bullets suddenly came flying in through the thick wood of the door, causing both men to fall to the ground covering their heads. When the shower of bullets came to a stop, all that was left was smoke and wood splinters.

"I got `em! No one could have survived that blast. Not even a vampire." The chuckle that followed was almost to the edge of insane.

Claws closed over the man's windpipe, cutting the laughter short. The assassin's eyes widened with fright as his skin paled. He looked to the side, feeling a very dark presence.

"Who sent you?" The calm voice stated without much emotion.

"I-I don't know th-their n-names." The assassin was close to pissing in his pants from fright.

"Then what did they look like?" A second voice joined the first as the human snapped his eyes around to the other side.

"O-One was blonde… Really pale eyes, couldn't even tell what color they were… The other one, he stayed in the shadows most of the time… But I saw black hair… And thought he had green eyes… That's it I swear!!" The man cringed, but soon felt nothing.

"Did you have to kill him? It will take forever to get the blood out of the carpet…" Black eyes glared at the taller man.

"He deserved it… He took orders from Leo and my dad." A tongue licked at the blood on his claws before the vampire made a face. "Disgusting… He was hopped up on drugs… Just like I thought…"

"Yes, only insane people attack vampires…" A sigh escaped the light haired vampire.

"Does that make Leo insane?"

"Dee, he killed his parents… Shot them both right between the eyes… In front of his younger brother… He's been insane for quite some time…" Green eyes softened at the dry tone that was used.

The older man enveloped his lover in a comforting hug, and placed a light kiss on his neck.

"It will be okay… We'll find those bastards… And we'll take them out. I promise." Ryo nodded, he believed his lover. He knew they would kill the two who were trying to kill himself and Dee.

"Well, well, well… If it isn't my dear little brother…" Ryo's eyes widened as he heard that voice. His head turned slowly towards it and saw the blonde man standing there.

"You bastard…" Dee growled as he looked towards the doorway.

"Now, now… That's no way to talk to family." The smirk that followed only served to piss off Dee more.

"Why don't you two go fuck yourselves and leave us the hell alone?" Ryo looked at his lover and blinked. He had never heard Dee sound like that, ever.

"Hmm… Kinda hard to fuck ones self." The smirk that followed pissed even Ryo off.

"Get out of here before I kill you myself Leo." Ryo spat the name out, like it left a bad taste in his mouth. Dee was shocked, as were the other two. They never expected Ryo to take an aggressive stance in this fight.

"Well, looks like little brother has a bite doesn't he?" Suddenly a fist connected with Leo's cheek. He was thrown into the wall with a great force.

"Little brother also has a strong punch..." Leo wiped the blood from his lip as he stared up at his younger brother, who was glaring at him.

"I think it's time to call it a day gentlemen… We will meet again, and next time… You will die." Soon both Leo and Dee's father, Jess, disappeared.

"Those bastards… I'll kill them…" Dee's growl was cut off by Ryo's arms encircling his waist.

"Let's forget them for the moment… Please?" The plea in his lover's voice caught Dee's attention. He turned and placed a deep passionate kiss on his lover's lips.

Dee began backing his lover into the apartment, towards the bedroom door. Ryo felt his back bump against it, before he turned his eyes towards his lover.

The grin that broke out on Dee's face caused a shiver to go down his lover's spine. The two lovers shared a passionate kiss, with Dee's tongue penetrating and exploring Ryo's mouth.

Soon, the door swung open, and both lovers went tumbling into the room and onto the bed.
