A/N: Alright minna-san!! Here's Chapter 16 like I promised. This will reveal Ryo's plan as well as the fight to the death. Hope I don't disappoint you guys. ^-^ Oh yeah you guys. It will be very confusing as I'll be switching fighters… ^.^' Ryo/Leo, Dee/Jesse… So bear with me okay? ^.^' Only one more chapter after this minna. The epilogue is after!! ^-^ It's almost coming to a close. And I will be enclosing a long author's note at the end to all my readers.

Chapter Sixteen: Blood Moon

"Ryo… Are you sure this is a good plan? I mean… What if something goes wrong?" For once, Dee was actually trying to be careful. He didn't want something to go wrong and lose the one he loved.

"Dee, don't worry so much. Everything will go perfectly according to plan. Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing can go wrong with this plan." The oriental man huffed as he finished pulling on his old hunter gear. He hadn't worn it since he had been turned into a vampire.

The black leather clung like a second skin, enabling him to move faster. He had his short sword at his side as well as his gun wedged against his lower back. The leather clad ex-hunter reached into his closet and pulled out the knee length black trench coat. He pulled it on and his outfit was complete.

Only, don't let the leather fool you… That leather was highly developed armor to guard against any vampire attack or bullet. The trench coat was fireproof and would guard against any explosion; it was so strong the only thing that could kill him would be an atomic blast. (A/N: My imagination is overactive okay…) His boots had blades that would kick out and stab anyone if his hands happened to be tied.

Dee blinked as Ryo finished putting on his outfit, but he was confused when Ryo slipped on sunglasses. "What the hell are you wearing sunglasses for?"

"These are heat detectors. They can detect only body heat produced by a human body, or a vampire's. So it'll be helpful in the fight, especially if he decides he wants to hide. As these are like x-ray lenses."

Dee blinked and had a slightly overwhelmed expression on his face. He shakes his head and goes into the closet to pull out his own coat. He didn't have any armor because he was a vampire. He didn't need armor as his instincts protected him and his strength did too.

"Alright. It's almost time to meet them at the pier…" Dee nodded and followed Ryo out the door, and locked it behind them.

`I hope we come out the victors. But I wouldn't put it past Leo and Jesse to do something sneaky and underhanded.' The brunette kept pace with his partner but soon they took to the rooftops.

Dee always loved running; the wind whipping through his hair always gave him an elated feeling. He sighed as he kept pace with Ryo as they made it to the pier.

There was a creepy, unearthly fog surrounding the crates that were stacked on the dock. It smelled of rotting fish and of mens' sweat. The smell almost overpowered the vampires' sensitive noses. They hardly made any sound as they moved stealthily along the creaking, soaking wet dock.

Ryo slipped his sunglasses on and he instantly got a reading on body heat. The height matched Leo and they headed in that direction. Dee growled as he sensed the presence of Jesse.

"Alright. Let's get this fight underway." Ryo dodged the fist that had been swung at him. Leo glared at Ryo as he swept the vampire's feet out from under him.

Ryo flipped over, clipping Leo in the chin with the heel of his shoe and it made the sound of bone shattering. The other man stumbled back holding his jaw in intense pain. His eyes filled with cold hatred as he advanced on Ryo. The ex-hunter dodged the blows with the grace of a sleek predator. He spun and jabbed his elbow into Leo's back which had the man falling flat on his already broken jaw.

Jesse was watching this with interest while Dee glared at him. Finally Jesse faced him and threw a punch. Dee grabbed his arm and flipped him onto his back which had blood coming from between the older man's lips. Jesse got up quickly and wiped the blood off of his chin.

He advanced on Dee, managing to get one of his claws into his son's side. Dee grimaced but sliced Jesse's back harshly. The older vampire didn't cry out, but instead pivoted on one foot and swept the feet out from under Dee. Only Dee took a page out of Ryo's book and clipped the older man in the jaw with his heel. Jesse went flying backwards and landed in a bunch of wooden crates.

"It would serve you right if a piece of wood pierced your heart." Dee's eyes danced with the adrenaline that the fight had running through his system. He enjoyed fighting and he had been dreaming of this one for a long time ever since Jesse reappeared.

Jesse stood up and dusted the splinters from his clothing and launched himself at Dee. Dee simply pivoted like Jesse had done earlier and gave him a roundhouse kick to his back. Jesse went sailing into the water.

Ryo ducked as the fist barely missed his head, the air ruffled his hair slightly as he grabbed the arm and flipped Leo onto his back once again. Ryo had on his sunglasses so he could see Leo if he decided to do a cowardly move and hide.

Ryo could also see the men waiting in the boat to set off the explosives on his word. They would have a five minute delay to get out of the area before the explosives were set off.

Leo got up and coughed up some blood before he lunged at Ryo. Ryo spun and kneed Leo in the stomach before slamming his elbow into the man's back. Leo went face forward into the ground, not moving. Ryo waited a few minutes when Leo reached out and grabbed his foot. Ryo landed hard on his back and gasped as the wind got knocked out of his lungs.

Leo smirked as he straddled Ryo's waist and clamped his hands on Ryo's throat. Ryo glared and sliced Leo's arm. Blood dripped down as the man fell backwards holding it. The claws had gone all the way to the bone, which allowed for bits of it to show through the cuts. Ryo flicked his wrist to clean the claws he had used.

Leo roared in anger as he ran at full force towards Ryo, one last time. Ryo grabbed him by his throat and hauled him up. The sunglasses were flung off, which signaled the men.

Jesse had jumped out of the water and had landed in front of Dee. Dee growled as Jesse extended his claws, and his eyes were slowly turning red. The younger vampire knew he had to get out of there soon, Ryo had just given them the signal to clear out.

He grabbed Jesse's throat and hauled him up, identical to how Ryo had Leo. Dee let his claws puncture the skin near the jugular. Jesse's eyes widened in slight fright as he looked frantically at his son. Dee smirked as he tore out Jesse's windpipe and let his lifeless body fall to the ground.

Ryo glared at Leo as he struggled to get free from the superhuman grip his brother had on him. Leo met his glare with eyes full of hatred and rage.

"I'm not letting you live for killing mom and dad…" Ryo's hand closed and crushed the windpipe. He dropped Leo on the ground and left him gasping for air and holding his throat.

"Come on Dee. We have two minutes left to get out." Dee nodded and they booked it away from the pier. They watched from their safe spots as the pier exploded in exactly two minutes. There would be no survivors.

"The pier down by the seaside last night exploded in a fiery blast. Authorities did find two bodies but they have yet to confirm anything as the bodies are burned beyond recognition. There is little doubt that they will ever be able to recognize these two bodies. On to other news…"

A sigh of relief escaped Ryo's lips as he turned off the TV. Dee sat on the couch next to him and grinned from ear to ear. He turned to Ryo and pushed him down on the couch to give him a long, deep, passionate kiss.

Ryo broke the kiss and smiled up at Dee gently. "I love you Dee." Dee blinked but he smiled as well.

"Love you too Ryo."

A/N: Nope… No hot yaoi sex for you guys…yet… That'll come in the epilogue. And I'll be adding a pretty pointless bonus chapter. ^-^ It'll be hilarious and just for fun. It'll get you guys laughing as I'll be included in the chapter. I had to do it. But I'll see you guys in the epilogue!! Ja ne! ^.~ v
