HARRY POTTER AND THE WAY OF THE NINJA

CHAPTER TWO

Last time: Just as the portal was about to close completely, another person came out of the portal this persons robe covering their face. When the person finally was able to get to their feet Harry could only call out the persons name in surprise. “CHO !!”

 

 

 

 

 

 

“CHO !!” Screamed Harry as her face was revealed, Running to where she stood Harry was on the receiving end of a fierce hug from the apparently frightened girl. When the girl finally let go Harry looked into her eyes and asked gently “Cho, what are you doing here? Why did you follow me?” Weeping slightly Cho responded “I'm sorry Harry its just that when I read that interview you gave I just had to talk to you and when we were at the school I never had enough of a chance to get close to you to talk. When I saw you go through the portal I saw my last chance to talk to you slip away and I guess something just snapped. I ran through everybody else and just before the portal closed on the Hogwarts side I jumped in and landed here.” After taking in everything the weeping Cho had said, Harry looked at her and said just as gently as before “You realize that the portal will not open again on this side for five years” Apparently Cho didn't realize that point because she promptly fainted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

After Cho had been made as comfortable as possible on a couch in the Hokage's office Harry and the elderly ninja started to discuss what the basics of the deal Professor Dumbledore had made with the Hokage and how Chos presence would affect it. The Hokage spoke first “Potter-san the basic deal that your Professor made with us was that in return for the Leaf village training you as a shinobi, You would act as a ninja of the village with all the privileges duties and responsibilities therein. Now Miss Chang presents an issue that needs to be discussed. When she awakes I am going to present her with the same deal that you have. Should she accept, she like you will be trained as a ninja” Harry didn't know what to make of this, on one hand he didn't to put her in any danger on the other had didn't she have the right to make her own decisions regardless of what he wanted. When he finally figured out what to say Harry said “Well I don't want her put in any danger because she followed me but I guess that it is her decision if she wants training as well.”

 

 

 

Almost as if she had heard them Cho started to wake up. As he started to sit up Harry and the Hokage walked over to the couch that she was sitting on. Harry sat next to her and said “Cho do you remember what happened and why you fainted?” When she nodded he continued “Because your being here was not planed the Hokage has agreed to extend the same deal to you that I have with him. If you accept in return for training you as a ninja you would agree to work as a ninja for the remainder of our time here. Now you don't to make your decision right now bu-” before he could finish Cho showing steely resolve spoke “I'll do it” To say Harry was surprised was an understatement he didn't think that she would answer that quickly. Before he could put more thought into what had just happened Cho continued “Like I said I'll do it, but in the near future you are going to tell me why you are here” Harry could only nod though on the inside he worried what she would think of him when she found out why he was here and what he would have to do when they returned to their reality. He quickly put these thoughts to rest as the Hokage faked a cough to make him known to them. What happened next surprised both the Hokage and Harry When Cho said in Japanese “ Hokage-sama I am sure that you heard our conversation but just incase you didn't I have agreed to take you up on your offer.” Inhaling from his pipe the Hokage spoke “Very good. Now originally we had only expected Potter-san and to that end we only procured one residence for him to live in. Unfortunately for the foreseeable future we will not be able to give you a residence of your own meaning of course that until a place opens up you and potter-san will be living in the same place.” Before Harry or Cho could put up any protest to this the Hokage continued “ Fear not the place you are staying is fairly large for an apartment I am sure that with a little work you two will be able to figure out proper sleeping arrangements.”

 

 

Seeing that there was no point in arguing with the Hokage, Harry and Cho nodded. Seeing the two new ninja trainees nod their affirmation the Hokage spoke again. “Now that you two have agreed join us I must tell you that tomorrow you will be given a Physical, Chakra and Psychological exam. The first two are to see if you are healthy enough and have enough chakra for the training you will be taking part in. The last test is to see if there are any issues that might be a distraction to you during your training. Now before you ask none of these thing will prevent you from being a ninja. They will just mean that there will be more things for us to work on during your training.” When neither Harry nor Cho negatively reacted to the Hokages words he decided to continue “Now if you don't have any questions, I'll have one of my jounin take you to your apartment.” At Harry and Cho's nod the Hokage called out “AOBA!”.

Almost 5 seconds after he called out the name a plum of smoke appeared in the middle of the room causing both Harry and Cho to pull out their wands. A quick glance from the Hokage caused them to put their wands away. As the smoke cleared they saw the silhouette of a man that appeared to be 5'7 at first glance. When the smoke had completely dissipated the saw a man with brown hair over his eyes were a pair of wrap around shades on his head he wore a head band with a stylized leaf on the metal plate over his upper torso was a green combat vest with lots of small pockets covering a tight turtleneck like shirt. For pants the man wore what looked like sweatpants the bottoms of which were taped to his legs near his feet that were adorned in what looked like a cross between a sandal and a trainer When the smoke was completely gone the man spoke in clipped tones “ Special Jounin Yamashiro Aoba reporting Hokage-sama.” After the man had introduced himself, The Hokage turned to the two mages turned shinobi “Aoba here will take you two to your apartment. Any questions that you may have you can ask him.”

 

 

 

As the group of three left what proved to be a tower Cho spoke up and asked “ Aoba-san how big is this village, population wise?” Turning to Cho the man known to them as Aoba said “ The total population of Konoha is estimated to be 20,000 roughly 5000 of which are shinobi of various levels including retired and reserve shinobi. This is of course only an estimate since the last village census was 2 years ago. After walking for a few more minutes of walking Harry asked Aoba “ So how far are we fro-.” The rest of what Harry was going to cut off when a body in a loud orange jumpsuit ran right in to him and Cho causing them all to fall to the ground in a heap. It was a few seconds before the kid in the jumpsuit stood up, straightened his goggles and yelled “ WHAT THE HELL? WHY DON'T YOU WATCH WERE THE HELL YOU ARE GOING.” After throwing a glare at them he ran off again leaving a shell shocked Harry and Cho in a compromising position. When they realized that Cho was still on top of Harry and what it might look like to anybody in eyeshot they both stood up as fast as possible before saying a quick sorry and blushing a bright shade of red. Aoba through the entire ordeal remained quiet trying hard to fight back a laugh thinking.

 

 

“Hahahaha, I can't wait to the guys about this.”

 

Harry and Cho on the other hand were thinking roughly the same thing

 

 

OH Merlin/Morgana, that was embarrassing. Please kill me now!.

 

 

 

Thankfully neither of the two ancient mages were listening because both Harry and Cho continued to stand refusing to look at each other for fear that they might get embarrassed again. After giving them a few more minutes to compose themselves Aoba told them it was time to move on. After ten more minutes of uncomfortable silence Aoba stopped in front of a rather nice sized apartment building it was roughly two stories and was right next to a flower shop as they looked at the front of the apartment two young boys and a young girl. One of the boys had reddish brown hair and was very chubby he was wearing a brown t-shirt and a black pair of shorts. The second boy was taller, had very dark brown hair in a spiky upward ponytail and was wearing the same thing as the first boy. The third member of the group was had long blond hair that was in a ponytail. She was wearing a purple t-shirt and a pair of purple caprice pants. From the looks of it the girl was yelling at the other two for one reason or another. Harry and Cho chose to ignore the byplay and instead focused on what had just become their apartment. Aoba pulled a pair of identical keys out of his pocket and used one of them to open the front door before speaking welcome to your new home.

 

 

 

 

 

When Harry and Cho entered the apartment they were surprised to find that is was fully furnished. The downstairs was split into a living room with two recliners and a sofa and a kitchen that looked fairly modern complete with a dishwasher. In one corner of the living room was a door that lead to a bathroom complete with a shower and a tub. When they walked up to the second floor they discovered that the entire top floor was a bed room with a large bed in the middle there was a dresser in one corner of the room but other then that the room was very spartanly decorated. After They had looked at the bedroom they went downstairs where Aoba was waiting patently. Almost as if he had been reading their minds Aoba said with a smile “Yes this apartment is all yours, just don't wreak the place.” Continuing on Aoba said “ The Hokage has allocated a nice chunk of change for you to buy cloths, weapons and food. I believe it was the sum of 2,909,102.28 yen. [25000 U.S dollars] that money is to last you for a year until you are made genin level ninja after which you will make a standard salary along with money made from commission from missions that you and your team will be participating in.” As he finished with his little money speech he stated walking toward the door. When he reached the door he spoke again. “ before I forget you should know that there is a grocery store 5 minutes up the road and a clothing store 5 minutes past that. Both places are reasonably priced. Now I must really be going, Enjoy your stay in Konoha and” pulling down his shades so they were at the tip of his nose “Don't do anything too wild.” With that he tossed them the keys to the place and quickly walked out the door closing it behind him. It took Harry and Cho about 10 seconds to figure out what the last part of what he said meant and 1/16th of that to start blushing wildly again. Harry ran toward the door to tell him that they weren't like that, but by the time he poked his head out side the door the man was long gone.

 

 

 

 

When Harry walked back to the living room where Cho was still standing with a rather large blush covering her face. Taking a second to regain his composure Harry was the first to speak “eeeh so I guess I will take the couch for the time being.” The rest of what Harry was going to say was cut off when Cho forcefully shook her head and said “ No, no, no you should take the bed, I technically shouldn't even be here, all of this was technically for you.” This time it was Harry's turn to shake his head and say. “ Whether you were supposed to be here or not, You are here now and I won't make a girl sleep on a couch where there's no privacy. Besides I've slept in a place a lot less comfortable then a couch.” Cho however remained stubborn in her resolve when she said “Well I'm not taking the bed no matter what you say.” It was Harry that finally came up with a compromise. “Why don't we split usage of the bed? One day you get the bed and the next day I get the bed and we go on from there.” Cho brightened up and said “That just might work. But what about the seventh day, who gets that.” Harry was quick to respond “We will just flip a coin or something to decide or something like that.” With that small issue had been dealt with awkward silence once again ruled. After a few minutes of that, Harry looked up at the clock and realized that it was just after noon and that they would likely get hungry soon. Turning to Cho Harry said “it's just about lunchtime if you want I can make something for us to eat. Cho gave him a shocked look and said “You know how to cook?” Harry turned to her and said “yeah it's one of the rare benefits of my upbringing.” At Chos puzzled look Harry responded “Tell you what, After I finish making lunch we will play Ask A Question, Answer A Question. I ask you a question and in return you get to ask me a question.” Cho quickly agreed as it gave her a chance to get some of the questions she wanted to ask answered. After Cho agreed Harry looked inside the fridge and found that it held various vegetables and fruits as well as several different kinds of beverages. On one side of the fridge was several kinds of salad dressings which gave Harry an idea. Pulling his head out of the fridge Harry half turned his head to Cho and said “Would a salad work for you” At Cho's nod Harry started pulling the different salad fixings of the fridge and after he had retrieved them he looked for and found a large salad bowl. After cleaning and pulling a few heads of lettuce Harry started chopping tomatoes and cucumbers and adding them to the bowl before grabbing a pair of salad tongs and tossing the salad. When the salad had been prepared Harry grabbed a couple of bowls and forks from the cupboards and placed them on the table in the kitchen. When both of them were comfortable in their seats Harry spoke “Well I guess I will start first with the questions.” When Cho nodded Harry continued. “ Why did you take the Hokages deal and how the heck did you learn the language these people are using. Cho smiled before saying “ That's two questions, But I will answer them anyways as long as I get to ask two questions.” At Harry's nod she continued. “ The reason I took the Hokages deal was because I am tired of feeling weak.” When Harry gave here a confused look she continued “ Right after Cedric died I was a wreck for the two weeks between the end of the tournament and the train ride home I was inconsolable. Even though I had nothing to do with what happened I felt that if I had been stronger in someway he might not have died. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that nothing I could have done would have saved him. That realization help a bit, When your interview was published I knew I had to talk to you on the hope that it might help my get over Cedric's death. When the Hokage offered me the same deal that you had been offered. While I have realized that no amount of strength would have helped me save Cedric I want to be strong so I can protect others. Now as to how I am able to speak the language here that's easy its just Japanese” After another confused look from Harry, Cho continued “ Harry I'm a Ravenclaw, most of us know at least one other language besides English by the time we enter first year. As for me in a addition to English I can understand, read, write and speak German, Japanese, French, Latin and my parents native language of Chinese so understanding the old man was easy.” After Harry's curiosity had been satisfied Cho decided to ask her questions “ At least a few times to day you have made some remarks as to how you were raised. I mean I know you were raised by muggles but was it really that bad? As to my second question, Why are you here in the first place instead of at Hogwarts?” In his mind Harry was worried How had she managed to ask the two questions he would have the hardest time answering. After a few moments to collect himself, Harry told Cho about his upbringing and about the abuse and neglect he suffered for the first eleven years of his life and how he had met Ron and Hermione on the Hogwarts express his first year. When he talked about how the Dursleys treated him he noticed that Cho's fist were clenched as if she were angry at something. After he told her about his childhood he launched into the explanation of why he was in this reality at all, ending with a recital of the Prophecy. When he had finished he noticed that Cho was starting to cry a little. For a second he thought that he had said too much, That was until she stood up walked to were he sat and made him stand. When he was upright Cho pulled him into a deep hug before saying “ How with all you went through did you become such a decent human being.!” Harry not knowing what to say remained silent and held Cho gently until she calmed down. When she was calm Cho looked down at what she was wearing and realized that besides the blue t-shirt, denim skirt combo she was wearing she had no cloths whatsoever to wear This was a fact that she vocalized when she said “ Harry, This place is nice and all and I'm grateful to you for letting me stay here. But I need some cloths” Harry for the first time since before he had been transported to the Hokages office noticed what Cho was wearing and came to the same conclusion she had come to seconds earlier. After a minute of thought Harry said “ Well Aoba said there was a clothing store about ten minutes up the road from here, I you want we can go there now.” When Cho nodded they grabbed their keys and walked out the door.

 

 

 

 

The trip to the clothing store was not nearly as bad as Harry thought it might have been. Once they got there Cho immediately picked up 4 sweat suit combos and handed them to Harry who put them in a small cart that was available at the store. After she had chosen the sweat suits she started looking at different types of cloths She grabbed 2 versions of an dress/shorts combo (thinks sakura's normal outfit) one was green and the other was blue. She then picked up another set of similar outfits. This set of outfits consisted of a tight fitting sleeveless shirt with a zipper in the front, A pair of short shorts made the bottom of the outfit along with a skirt that was connected by a belt the outfit was completed by a pair of boots that nearly reached to the pit of her knees. (think sakura's part two outfit if you need a visualization ) When she had picked all the outfits she wanted she picked up a few packages worth of undergarments before walking up to the pay counter with Harry in tow. The cashier rang up the items which came to a grand total of 58,087.46 yen (500 dollars). Harry being the one to hold the money they had been given paid the casher his fee and with the bags full of cloths and shoes in hand they walked back to their home. When they arrived back at their place they were greeted by a ninja who told them that somebody would come to get them at 10 am the next morning for their examinations. When the ninja departed Cho looked at the clock and saw that it was nearly 3:00 pm. Harry and Cho then seeing as how they had covered Harry's history earlier in the day started talking about her past and her time at Hogwarts. After several hours of conversation which was only interrupted by Harry stopping to make dinner Harry and Cho went to their respective beds and went to sleep.

 

 

The Next Day

 

 

 

 

 

For 11 year old Uzumaki Naruto life had never been the greatest. Between the villagers glares and the fact that he had to by almost everything he owned at second or third hand shops he sometimes wondered why he got up in the morning . One of the only things that kept him happy was that he could attend the Ninja Academy, Even though he had trouble doing well at the academy he never let that get him down because one day he knew he was going to be Hokage and then everybody would respect him. The other thing that kept him focused was his feelings for one of the most attractive girls in his class Haruno Sakura. Naruto wasn't sure when his crush on her had developed but he knew that he liked her and to him that was all that mattered. After he got out of bed, got cleaned up and had breakfast (his milk was near expired *sigh*) Naruto ran out his door and started running on the roofs of the houses near him to get to the Academy on time. After 10 minutes of roof running Naruto made it to the Academy As he ran in the doors and up the stairs to the second floor where he found room 201, his classroom. When Naruto slid open the door to the class room he looked at the clock and was surprised to see that it was still two minutes till class started. Surprised that he was early for a change Naruto walked up to the top row of the auditorium like classroom and took his seat. When Naruto looked around the classroom he saw that Sakura and her rival Yamanaka Ino were fighting over Uchiha, Sasuke. Ino, Naruto admitted to himself that if circumstances had been a little different he could have found himself attracted to her instead of Sakura. But with things being the way they were he wasn't. Morning classes went as expected, Iruka-sensei tried to teach them the math behind how a kunai was thrown correctly and why it was important that they learn it. After the morning class was over they were dismissed for lunch. During lunch Naruto started looking for Sakura, he wanted to ask her out to the ramen shop and he figured asking her at school was as good a place as any to ask her out. When he finally found her she was talking to Sasuke, from the look of things she was trying to ask him out for the umpteenth time and from the looks of things she was being turned down for same amount of tries. Now had Naruto been a bit wiser in the ways of the female he might have known that it was best if left Sakura alone after her latest rejection, But he wasn't and he didn't and what was about to happen would change the fate of two worlds.

 

Haruno, Sakura was not a happy camper, She had just been turned down by her Sasuke-kun. No matter what she did she Sasuke would not go out with her to make matters worse she knew Ino would laugh at her for her failure. The more she thought about it the more upset and angry she got, so when Naruto came up to her to ask her out for the 1000th time by saying “Sakura-chan I was wonder if yo-' That was as far as he go because in the next second Sakura slapped him so hard that every kid in the academy heard the impact. What she said next she would later regret although years later she would be happy with the eventually results. “Na-Ruto! I am only going to say this once and you are going to listen to me! I. Do. Not. Like. You I have never liked you and I never will, Everything about you offends me be it your bright orange suit, your stupid goggles or your loud voice! You're an embarrassment to the entire village in fact I bet your parents abandoned you because they couldn't stand you so why don't you do us all a favor and DROP DEAD!” Anybody in the Academy could tell you that Haruno, Sakura was a little high strung and just a wee bit bitchy. But none of them would ever in their wildest dreams have believed that she would go that far in yelling at somebody even if it was Naruto. For 10 seconds nobody made a sound and during that time you could almost hear Narutos heart break in to a thousand little pieces before he ran into the academy. While Naruto ran into the build to deal with what had just happened Sakura stood where she had been standing since she had torn into Naruto and while she stood there she thought to herself :I've done it, I've finally gotten that Idiot Naruto to leave me alone. Maybe with him out of my way I can finally get my Sasuke-kun.: The fact that her thoughts were not logical didn't seem to bother her and she let herself get deeper into thought about herself wooing Sasuke. Of course if she had been paying attention to her surroundings she might have notice the human sized fist when it back handed her into a tree causing her to become disoriented.

 

 

 

 

 

When she recovered from her disorientation she found a her rival, Ino and her friends the class sloth known as Nara Shikamaru and the class fat ass Akimichi Choji whom based upon what she knew about the Akimichi's must have been the one that hit her. Just by looking at them she could tell that Choji and Shikamaru were pissed at her but Ino was positively livid with anger. Sakura couldn't figure out why Ino would be so pissed at her, all she did was yell at Naruto a few seconds latter she found out why when Ino started yelling at her. “What the hell was that all about Sakura? Why did you yell at Naruto like that? I know that he can be a bit annoying at times, but that was no reason to say all the things you said to him.” When Sakura tried to open her mouth to speak Ino cut her off. “Really Sakura, all you need to do was tell him that you would never be interested in him that way and I am sure he would have understood. But no you had to go for blood.” It was at that moment that Ino had an epiphany and after she took a few seconds to pull her thoughts together she spoke. “You know what, if chasing after Uchiha Sasuke is going to make a person do what you did then I quit. If you want him so bad that you would say such hurtful things to somebody who may have genuinely cared for you then you can have him!” Now it should be noted that Ino had been yelling a Sakura the entire time. So when one of the biggest Sasuke fan girls yell for all to hear that she had given up on Sasuke it caused some reactions. Some of the girls were happy because they believed that one member of the competition was out of the race and some of the guys surprised that she would say such a thing. One dark skinned, curly haired fat kid started yelling that Ino's dismissal of Sasuke was a sign of the apocalypse and that they should run for their young lives. He was thankfully knocked out by a random student. As for Sakura the fact that her rival for Sasuke's affections had just told her that she was out of the running because of what she had done shook her to the core.

 

 

With Sakura dealt with Ino turned to Choji and Shikamaru and said “I want you two to stay here and make sure that she sits here and thinks about what she's done I'm going to see if I can find Naruto and undo what Sakura did.” With that she walked into the Academy using the same entrance that Naruto had used earlier. After a few minutes of searching she found Naruto in their classroom silently weeping, completely unaware that she was there. Moving as quietly as she could Ino walked towards Naruto trying to keep him from noticing her. When she was in arms length of Naruto she put her hand on his shoulder, This caused Naruto to realize that somebody was in the room with him. Quicker then Ino thought possible Naruto stopped crying and put on an emotional mask of brashness before turning to Ino and saying “What do you want Ino, are you here to yell at me too.” For a brief moment Ino grew angry at Naruto for being so rude, that moment quickly passed when she remembered what he had just been through. When she calmed down she said “ No, I just wanted to say that I am sorry for what Sakura said to you a little bit ago. She was within her rights to not like you, but to say that horrible thing that she said was unforgivable.” When Naruto nodded his agreement Ino continued, “Because of what Sakura said I came to a realization, if going after Uchiha Sasuke is going to make me into somebody like Sakura then I don't want him” When Ino told Naruto that she had given up on Sasuke, Naruto much like everybody else who had heard it before was surprised. For as long as Naruto had known Sakura and Ino they had both been Sasuke fangirls and to hear either one of them say they were going to give up on Sasuke was like him giving up ramen, so when he heard Ino's pronouncement all that Naruto could say was a very intelligent “huh” Ino giggled a bit at Narutos befuddlement before putting on a serious face and speaking again. “Naruto, I was wondering if you would like to hang out with me, Choji and Shikamaru after class?” Now because most parents didn't let their children near him Naruto had never been asked to hang out with anybody, so when Ino invited him to hang out with her and her friends he was overjoyed so much that he temporarily forgot about his sorrows. It was a still excited Naruto that said “YES”

 

 

 

 

After Naruto agreed to hang out with Ino and her friends Naruto and Ino just talked. Naruto told Ino about the more pleasant parts of his childhood and Ino told Naruto about her childhood and how her father along with Choji's and Shikamaru's father had been a team during their genin days. After 30 more minutes of talking the rest of the class started to come in from lunch the last of which was Sakura. When Sakura passed by Naruto and Ino both of them ignored her but when she looked in Naruto's eyes she saw that they were cold enough to freeze boiling water. Not wanting to see Naruto's cold stare Sakura moved to a seat as far away as possible from him in the top row of seats. When Iruka arrived to teach the afternoon class he was surprised to see both Ino and Sakura sitting somewhere else other then next to Sasuke. After class had been let out for the day Ino pulled on Naruto's arm to take him to where Shikamaru and Choji were standing when she told them that Naruto would be hanging out with them that afternoon they agreed although Shikamaru said that it was troublesome to add another to their group. What followed was an afternoon of fun that Naruto would never forget They looked at the clouds at Shikamaru's favorite spot and then went shopping (well Ino shopped, the boys carried her items) and finally then went to the Ichiraku Ramen shop were Choji and Naruto tied for the record of most bowls of ramen consumed in one sitting. After they finished at the ramen shop it was time for it was time for Ino, Shikamaru and Choji to go home, Shikamaru and Choji left together leaving Naruto and Ino alone. After the two other boys had left Naruto found himself alone with Ino in front of the ramen shop, After a few minutes filled with the sound of crickets chirping Naruto put a goofy smile on his face and said “Ino if you want I can walk you home, nobodies waiting for me at home so I don't have to be there at any certain time.” Ino looked thoughtful for a few seconds before replying “Sure, I don't live too far from here.” With that Naruto and Ino started walking towards her house, While they walked they talked about the test on the Henge no jutsu that they would have to take later in the week and about the test on kunais they had taken the previous week. After 10 minutes of walking they came upon Ino's home. While standing in front of the door Ino spoke “So I guess I'll see you in class tomorrow then .” Naruto gave her a grin and said “Believe It. Ino then did something that years later she would say she had no explanation for why she did it when she gave him a quick peck on the cheek and ran inside her house leaving a dumbstruck Naruto trying to figure out what the hell had just happened. After trying to figure it out for a few moments Naruto figured he would think about it in the morning. With that Naruto started walking towards his apartment happy that he had made three friends that day.

 

 

 

 

 

That Same Morning

 

 

 

The morning, Harry thought hadn't been too bad. After a fairly restful sleep Harry had woken up to see that it was nearly 8:30 in the morning and that Cho was eating breakfast. After he had eaten his own breakfast he and Cho started doing morning exercises to make the last vestiges of sleep go away. At 10:00 am a chuunin who did not give his name came to their door to lead them to the Hokage tower and after Harry and Cho had gotten dressed Harry in the cloths he had worn the day before and Cho in one of the sweat suits she had bought they were off. After several minutes of walking the chuunin lead them to a room not too far from the Hokage's office In the room were 2 men and two women and the Hokage. When they had made themselves comfortable the Hokage told Cho to follow the two women to another room. When the three woman were gone the Hokage told him that two of the men would check his physical and mental healths while a third man not yet present would check his chakra flow. The physical exam went well, after doing a basic check up the man whom Harry guessed was a doctor Harry was told to do a series of calisthenics so they could get an idea of his state of fitness. After 40 minutes of this Harry was told to stop. When he had cleaned himself off he was lead to another room where the psychologist was waiting. During the session Harry proceeded to tell the man about his past and the people involved, after 40 minutes Harry stopped talking. For a few minutes there was silence before the psychologist spoke “ Well young man I can safely say that you are a lucky one. Many who have suffered through a past similar to yours have gone crazy. As far as I can tell the difference between yourself and them is that you had a strong core group this Mr. Weasley and Miss Granger had you never made friends with them you might very well be like this Voldemort you speak of”. Harry briefly shuddered at the thought of ending up like Voldemort before the man continued Now I think I know what your problem is currently you have what is called survivors guilt you feel guilty that you survived what happened in that graveyard and that this Cedric didn't you feel that if you had just taken the cup like he told you to that he wouldn't have been killed. But what you must remember is that he made the choice to take the cup with you anything that happened after that was nobodies fault but Voldemorts.” Harry nodded he knew the man was right but he also know it would be a while before he believed that fact. After they had finished the door Harry had entered earlier opened and in stepped the Hokage, Cho and finally a man dressed in formal robes with long black hair tied at the end, the man's most noticeable features were a pair of eyes that seemed to lack pupils. When the Hokage noticed Harry's interest in the mans eyes he spoke “ Harry-san this is Hyuga Hikiru today he will use his clans special ability to see a persons chakra pathways to see if yours and Cho-sans chakra pathways are in working order. When Harry nodded man known Hikiru spoke to him “If you and the girl would stand side by side we can get started.” Harry noticed that this man spoke in a formal tone and seemed to carry the air of arrogance that he had seen people like Draco Malfoy carry. When Harry and Cho stood together the man whispered “Byakugan” which seemed to cause the veins in his head leading to his eyes to bulge out. After a period of 20 seconds the mans eyes widened a little bit before he said “Potter-san is there any reason why you have a seal on you that is shunting some of your chakra somewhere else outside your body. When Harry shook his head the man said “ In that case if you would allow me to I would like to remove it” When Harry started to ask why the man continued “ the seal it seems is siphoning of roughly 1/3 of your chakra total. While it seems to have no adverse effects on you now if you ever found yourself low on chakra that extra third might save your life. When Harry nodded the man started making different gestures with his hands, after 20 such gestures he flattened his palm which was glowing white and pushed it hard against Harry's forehead yelling “Ryoku Saifon Fuujin Kai” (power siphon seal release) for a moment all Harry knew was pain as the effects of the unsealing started to take hold and then he passed out. When he came to he saw the Hokage and Cho standing over him, when he finally stood up the Hokage said “Ah Harry-san it is good to see that you are awake for short while we were worried that you might not wake up. Now that you have woken up it is time to introduce to you the person that will be in charge of your Physical training for the next while. As soon as the Hokage finished talking the door opened and in stepped a woman with wild brown hair, eyes that were in slits and red facial tattoos on her cheeks. She was wearing a vest like Aoba's and she had a very feral grin on her face and then she spoke “Hello maggots my name is Inuzuka Tsume and for the next 4 months you belong to me.”
