Arushii staggered to her feet, warm blood trickled down the side of her face.
Out of her blurred vision she saw the Arcadian charging towards her, tendrils waving in the air ready to strike. Focusing on the advancing creature, the crimson eyes narrowed.
Quickly calling in her scythes she called on the aid of the wind elements as she flung her scythes towards the creature.
"Kaze!"
The twin scythes shot through the air with the help of the fast winds it impaled the creature with a thud.
The monster reared up on its remaining legs, a shrill cry pierced the air.
"Why won't you just fucken die?!" she half-heartedly whined as she snapped up protective shields around herself.
Suddenly a crackling fireball hurled from the skies and smashed into the mutilated creature's side, a smell of burnt flesh stank in the air. A pain filled scream erupted from the gaping mouth as it turned towards the new attacker.
Arushii mentally sighed with relief but her eyes widened twice their size as she saw the intruders. Seto and Aya. Both had their weapons drawn floating in the air away from the Arcadian, the scorpion tail seemed to have a life of its own as it tried to impale either of the Gods with its deadly sting.
A sickening feeling awakened in Aya's stomach. The violet eyes narrowed as he searched for the rest of the companions.
`Gods no! This can't be happening!!'
He gripped his glowing Katana harder.
As if the gods were telepathic to each other Aya rushed foreward to attack the deadly tail, while the other god amused himself with the front half of the beast.
Aya ducked instinctively, his eartails flicked across his pale cheeks.
"SHI-NE!!!" he cried as he sliced through the tail like butter. Greenish black blood burst through the wound coating Aya in the process. The Arcadian already weak with blood lost, tried to defend itself as Seto came down with his trademark `God of Death scythe'.
The scythe cut through the air in a graceful arc as it connected with the creature's head. Decapitating it.
All movement ceased as the body slumped foreward, the head lolled of to the side, the fire died from the red eyes.
Hatsui shook himself and slowly staggered to his feet and made his way back to the others. He winced as he tried to stand up straight, a sharp pain flared on his right side.
"AaaHH!" Hatsui drew in a raggared breath, clenching his sides agonizingly.
`my ribs...they're...they're broken.' He prod his right side gingerly, grimacing at the pain. The god wrapped his left arm around his broken ribs giving what ever comfort it might have.

"Satoshi." Seto kneeled down and gently collected the bleeding angel into his arms. Satoshi stirred and slowly opened her dark eyes, a gasp of pain escaped her lips.
"...se...Seto?" she whispered uncertainly. Blood had already begun to seep into the God's clothes, the precious life essence fading fast from the Angel, Satoshi's eyes began to flutter close again.
"No!! Don't! Not now!" the brunette god shook her gently yet forcefully. Satoshi let out a groan but managed to keep her painfilled eyes from closing. Seto held her close.
"Listen. You're losng too much blood. You have to put back your wings." He said, trying to suppress the fear creeping into his voice, starring at the bloody mess infront of him.
Black eyes widened with pain and terror.
"...i...can't its too painful....." another agonizing cry erupt from her mouth.
"You have to. Onegai." He whispered.
The angel curled into Seto's chest, the figured stilled for a moment then inch by inch the tortured wings slid back painfully into her shoulder blades. Bones clicked and cracked, bright red blood began to flow freely like tiny streams joining into a river flowing swiftly from her back, staining the earth below her red.
".....Seto....it hurts..."Satoshi whispered.
Excrutiate pain flared in constant beats from her back as agonizing cries, erupted into the silent woods, all the God of Death could do was hold the trembling body closer and block out the pain filled cries that now echo in his head.
