I know that I said I wouldn't continue if I didn't get reviews, but my friends read it and contacted me, telling me to continue. I am doing this for them, and for everyoneelse who wants to read. Enjoy. But please, it would be nice if i got at least one review telling me if this was good or not...I won't care either way, I just want your opinions.

Chapter 2: Blood and Tears

"You are going to eat those words, Yami!" Selene yelled as she lunged at him. How dare Yami curse the blood that ran through her! He was going to pay for that, dearly.

Yami smirked as Selene came at him, moving a little to the right just in time. He then grabbed her right wrist and pulled it behind her back, dragging her towards him in the process. He smirked again as a scream escaped Selene's mouth. He knew that he was hurting her, bad.

Yugi's POV~~~~

"Huh?" Yugi said as he was brought back to realization by a scream in the alleyway next to him. "Is anyone there?" He asked hoping that he had just imagined the scream. Just then a dark figure was hurling towards him. He yelped as he moved just in time.

Normal POV~~~~

It appeared that the figure was a female that looked around the age of twenty. Yugi cautiously moved to her and asked, "Are you OK?" All he just heard was a mumble as she started to get up. He went to help her, but was stopped when she held out her hand.

"I'm fine. Just stay out of the way." Selene got up and stared into the face of what looked like a younger Yami. At seeing this young kid's face she froze. This was who Yami had his eyes on! "MOVE!" She yelled as she saw Yami coming out of the alleyway.

Yugi was startled when this female yelled at him, but soon found out why when he heard a cold voice behind him, "Stay out of this Selene. No matter what you do, you can't keep me from what I want." Yugi turned to see a guy that looked exactly like him except older. How could this be? His thoughts were changed when he heard the name Selene said. He had heard that name before...Selene was the legendary... Vampire Hunter.

"Hey, Selene you're the Vampire Hunter. Aren't you?" Yugi asked. Selene was taken back by this, but nodded before turning her attention back to Yami.

"Well. It seems that you're quite famous around here Selene." Yami sneered when Selene's attention was back at him.

"You, of all people, should know that, Yami." Selene said as she bent down to pick up her sword. "You should also know that the Vampire Hunters used to rule vampires, but as your kind either wiped us out or changed us into vampires our numbers are dwindling."

"Yes I do know. Seeing as I was the one to start all of that." Yami replied. "Now. Where were we?" He said, once again with a smirk in his tone. At that moment Selene lunged herself at Yami, but, again, he moved out of the way just in time. This time, however, Selene was able to turn around and slice some of the flesh on his right arm.

This made Yami furious. No one before had been able to lay a scratch on him. No one! "Well, I do have to say I mis underestimated you, when people said that you were the hardest vampire to beat. I didn't think the hardest meant the easiest." Selene said after noticing the cut on Yami's arm. Yami's crimson eyes suddenly had a red tint to them as Blood Lust took over his body at the smell of his own blood. He then remembered that he had not fed yet tonight. And decided that Selene would be his target for the night. Having decided that Yami lunged himself at Selene and caught her off guard when he grabbed her shoulders and turned her around till her back was facing him. Yami then bit into her neck sharply.

Yami's POV~~~~

Her blood is so...sweet. Yami thought as crimson colored blood filled his mouth and slowly slid down his throat. I've never tasted blood so sweat.

Selene's POV~~~~

How? Selene thought as she felt Yami's teeth sink into her neck and her own tears rolling down her cheeks. How can this be happe... At that moment Selene lost all consciousness as so much blood had been drained from her already.

Yugi's POV~~~~

What? Yugi thought as he saw Yami sink his teeth into Selene's neck. Why is he doing this when it obviously is hurting Selene.

(Sorry for the interruption, but at this point Yugi doesn't really know anything about vampires or vampire hunters, just that they exist. Any who, back to the story... Again sorry for the interruption.)

Yugi wanted to run over and help Selene, but didn't want to interfere in anything that he didn't know about. So, he did the only thing he could, stand there and wait.

Normal POV~~~~

Yami felt Selene's body go limp in his arms and decided that he would let Selene live for the time being. Only because she wouldn't be in the way of him and Yugi. He let her go and watched as she collapsed to the ground. He then turned his attention to Yugi and saw the fear in his eyes.

Yami's POV~~~~

He looks so innocent just standing there not knowing what is going on. Yami thought as he saw Yugi standing there. Well I might as well try to comfort him so he trusts me. And GOD!!!! Those big amethyst eyes are cute.

Normal POV~~~~

Yami walked over to Yugi and placed one hand on Yugi's shoulder and the other one to Yugi's chin. He then turned Yugi's face up to meet his eyes. Crimson eyes met amethyst ones. "Don't worry no one will ever hurt you or your family again." Yami said as he picked up Yugi bridal style and went away into the night.
