Hey...sorry I haven't updated in a while. Teachers have been hounding on us recently and are just now giving us a break. So here is the next chapter, and if this chapter isn't long enough I guaranteeing the next one will make up for it. And sorry if it isn't as good as the previous chapters, I'm kinda a little rusty.

Chapter 8: Trusting Again

Normal POV~~~~

“Shut up, Seto.” Selene said in defeat. “It's not like I could do anything.”

“Damn right.”Seto said smirking. “Ah. here we are.”Seto opened the door with one hand, making sure that he didn't let go of Selene. He then entered and kicked the door shut behind him. Only then did Seto put Selene down. He quickly locked the door and hid the key in a place only he knew of, the whole time making sure that Selene didn't see.

Selene, however, was busy looking around the lightly lit room and stopped when her eyes fell upon a king sized bed. She then realized that she was in a bedroom, Seto's by the looks of it. Great. Selene thought to herself. All I need is to be alone in a bedroom with Seto. His bedroom nun the less. Selene rolled her eyes, but was distracted from her thoughts when she felt Seto rap his arms around her from behind.

“What are do-o-o-i...”The rest of her words were drowned out when a shudder was sent through her entire body, due to the fact that Seto was lightly planting kisses on her neck. Ra! How is he doing this so gentle. And how does he know that my neck is my weak spot? (A/N: besides Seto being a vampire, and so forth) Selene thought, but changed when she realized what was happening. “What, in the name of Ra are you doing?!” Selene said as she pulled out of Seto's grip to face him.

“You didn't seem to mind a few seconds ago. In fact, I could have sworn you were enjoying it.” Seto said with a grin forming on his face. Just the fact that Selene had started to enjoy it showed him that she might possible like him, even love him. At this thought Seto started to walk towards her, but wasn't surprised when he saw her moving backwards, away from him.

However, this was exactly what Seto wanted because she was heading strait for the bed. And he had lots in mind. Selene stopped taking steps backwards when the back of her legs hit something. She quickly turned around and saw that Seto had pinned her between him and his bed. “Shit!” She said, not realizing she had said it aloud.

“Come to realize that you have no where to go?” Seto asked while he continued forward, making sure to actually pin Selene between him and his bed. “Well then, I guess you are mine.” Seto remarked grabbing Selene's hips and enclosing her mouth in a kiss. He started outlining her lips, begging for entrance, but what he got was not what he expected.

Selene let him into her mouth, but also slipped her tongue into his mouth. Seto was more than happy to oblige and smiled when their tongues started battling for dominance. Him coming out victorious. Seto decided to break the kiss so they could breathe and allow what just happened to sink in. There is no way that Selene doesn't at least like me now. She just proved it. He thought to himself.

What just happened? Selene asked herself. Did I...did Seto...did we just... Selene was at a loss for words, but realized that she had enjoyed the kiss, a lot. And that she had replied and given Seto what he wanted. In fact, Selene was quite sure that she gave Seto more than what he was asking for. Could I possibly...No! I will not fall in love with another vampire again.

Seto smiled at the look of confusion on Selene's face, but the truth be told, he was a little confused, too. I mean, he thought Selene hated his guts, but if she did, whatever just happened would not have happened, not in a million years. Could it be that the hate Selene showed him was just be a cover up because Selene didn't want to get hurt again like she did when she had once fallen in love with Yami? Could all this be that Selene was just not wanting to accept that she loved him because of what had happened between her and Yami two years ago? Could Selene just be afraid?

“I'm not going to hurt you.” Seto said trying to figure out what was going on between him and Selene.

“That's exactly what Yami said.” Selene stated. “And even then he broke that promise. He hurt me in a way I didn't think was even possible.”

So it does have to do with Yami and what happened between them two years ago. Seto thought. “Selene. I'm not going to hurt you.” Seto said cupping a hand on her chin and bringing it up until her eyes meet his. Seto stared in Selene's silver eyes, not blinking, to show her that she could trust him and that he would never lie to her. He was relieved when he saw her eyes soften and a warm glow fill them. A glow that could only mean one thing...trust.

His blue eyes seem to go straight to his soul, or even further...into some unknown territory... his heart. Selene said as she met Seto's gaze, feeling nothing but trust flowing from his blue eyes into her silver ones. “I trust you.” She said in a whisper.

“What's that?” Seto asked, making sure that he heard right.

“I trust you.” Selene said again, this time in a louder voice.

“Well, I'm glad you do because without it I don't know how tonight would work.”

“Wha...” Selene started, but was stopped when Seto enclosed her mouth in a heated passionate kiss. Selene nearly melted into the kiss, and Seto was about to start the things he had planned for the night, but was interupted when...
