Yugi meets Rumble Roses By: DJ Rodriguez   (Author’s Notes: Hi, everyone. DJ here, and its good to be back! I hope to those that read “Yugi meets the Saber Dolls” enjoyed it as much as I did.   Darien: This time, Yugi is going to be meeting the beautiful babes from Rumble Roses! Strange twists and plots are in this one, so hang on!   Now, on with the fanfic!)  

Prologue

  The day was July 24th, 2005. About a month or so has passed since the Doom incident. Dartz was no longer a threat, and Atlantis was back in the sea. Things were quiet now, which was how a certain spiky-haired, tri-colored duelist liked. I am talking of course, about Yugi Motou.   Due to Dartz and his actions, things had changed for some of them. Pegasus had sent a handsome sum of money to Yugi and Joey, as a way of thanks for saving him and the world. Yugi didn’t know what to do with a lot of money, so he gave it to his grandfather Solomon. Joey kept half for himself, and gave the other half to his mother and Serenity. They need it, after all.   Seto Kaiba gave a leave off of Duel Monsters for a while, focusing on his company and brother. His Deck was secured in a high-security vault, and the billionaire was now catching up on his company’s business. Mokuba was a great asset to him, keeping track of any and all projects.   Téa and Rebecca were on a secret war, each vying to win Yugi’s heart and love. Téa admitted that she did have a crush on the Pharaoh, but hearing on what Yugi did to save him and also her hugging him when he was back from the Seal of Orichalcos, convinced her that Yugi was indeed the TRUE love of her life.   Now, all of them were in the Turtle Game Shop, watching TV and hanging out. Yugi gave a sigh of contentment, glad to have a little bit of normalcy. “Ahhh, this is the life. Hanging out with good friends and not worrying about demented psychopaths trying to take over the world.”, he commented.   Tristen added in, “I hear ya, Yug. Nice to lay back for a change, take a break from duels.”.   Joey added, “Got that right, bro! I haven’t relaxed this much since that boat ride to Duelist Kingdom!”.   “So, Yugi. What do you want to do today?”, Rebecca inquired. She was staying with Yugi for the summer, and her grandfather was with Solomon on an expedition in Egypt. The money Yugi gave to Solomon was enough to finance it.   “Don’t know, Rebecca.”, Yugi answered.   Just then, a commercial came one. This one, however, got Yugi’s attention. On the screen was a beautiful woman of Japanese descent. She looked to be 19 years old, about a year or so older then Yugi. She wore a red and black sports bra (or so I think), with the names KONAMI written on the black areas. She wore very short leather shorts, the buttons on where a zipper should be undone and showing a little bit of her underwear that was also marked KONAMI. She wore red and black knee-high boots, giving off the show that she was a wrestler.   “What?! It can’t be!”, Yugi exclaimed, surprising all.   “Yugi, do you know her?”, Ryou inquired. The white-haired youth was on vacation from his school in Britain. He had returned there after the Battle City Tournament incident, to catch up on a number of things.   “I do! That’s my Reiko Hinomoto, my old childhood friend!”, he answered. He was still shocked from seeing his friend, after it had been so long since they last met.   “Reiko Hinomoto? I don’t remember anyone by that name, Yugi.”, Téa put in. She had been Yugi’s friend since pre-school, so this struck her as curious.   “The Hinomoto’s were close friends of the family. Whenever my grandfather and parents were away, Reiko’s mom used to baby-sit us. Reiko, and her older sister Rose, would play with me on all sorts of games. We usually wrestled, which is what they loved.”, he explained.   “Wrestle? That seems a bit odd.”, Duke said.   “Its not surprising really, considering that their mother was a famous wrestler back then. She was known to most as ‘Kamikaze’ Rose.”, Yugi replied.   “You mean THE ‘Kamikaze’ Rose?! You were friends with the daughters of that famous wrestler?!”, Tristen exclaimed. He was a fan of wrestling, and ‘Kamikaze’ Rose was as big a star as they come.   “Yeah, same one. Unfortunately, after the accident, the Hinomoto’s left. I hadn’t seen or heard from them in a long time. Last time we spoke or met was about six years ago.”, Yugi said softly. Like Reiko and Rose, he had been hit hard when he was informed that ‘Kamikaze’ Rose died in the wrestling ring. She was a very good person to him, like an aunt.   “I see. So, what is she doing back here?”, Rebecca inquired.   Yugi saw the rest of the commercial, and it informed them all that the Rumble Roses tournament was going to be held in Domino City in two days at the Domino Coliseum. “Rumble Roses? I never heard of anything like that.”, Joey said.   “The Rumble Roses is a new circuit in the wrestling area, an all-women’s pro wrestling business. I heard about it over the Internet, and they have the sexiest women from all of the world!”, Tristen stated with a hentai smirk.   “So, Reiko finally achieved her dream of becoming a wrestler. I bet her sister did too.”, Yugi mused to himself.   “Say, Yug. How about we go to the Coliseum and meet Reiko? I’m sure she love to meet you. You and her could catch up on old times.”, Joey suggested.   “Not a bad idea, Joey. I like to see what she has been doing for these last six years.”, the mini hero answered.   “Okay then, let’s go! Onward to the Coliseum!”, the goofy duo Tristen and Joey exclaimed. They, and Duke, wanted to see the women there. However, Téa and Rebecca were not too keen on letting their crush near a very attractive woman. But, they had little choice in the matter.   Yugi went upstairs to change. He put on his Goth clothes on, and put the M. Puzzle around his neck. Yami wanted to meditate on some matters, and Yugi gave him his space.   Yami was jolted a little from the interruption and inquired, “Yugi, what is going on?”.   The little teenager answered, “Sorry Yami, but we’re off to the Domino Coliseum. One of my old friends is back, and we’re going to meet her. Besides, you probably need a change of scenery.”.   The old spirit replied, “Perhaps. Okay, then. Let’s go.”.   After putting on his belt, and putting his deck in his special slot just in case, he went back downstairs and rejoined his friends who were waiting for him at the front door.   “Let’s go!!”, Yugi exclaimed and they all went out to the Rumble Roses arena.   ~At the large hotel building complex near the Domino Coliseum~   Reiko Hinomoto was busy unpacking her stuff in her hotel room. A wide array of mixed emotions welled up inside her. One was anxiousness, due to the fact that she was now a professional wrestler and going to try to follow in her mother’s footsteps. The other emotion was curiosity, wondering if her sister was going to compete in the tournament as well.   The other emotion was happiness. She was back in the city that she was born in, and also the city that held her dear sweet childhood friend, Yugi Motou.   “I wonder how he’s doing? From the news I have read in the paper and seen on TV, he’s made quite a name for himself. But, I wonder why he became a, what was it called… oh yes, Duelist.”, she said to herself.   Unpacking the last of her clothes and putting them in the drawer, she stretched for a moment. “Well, gotta go to the gym that’s been set up in the Coliseum. Want to get some last-minute training before the matches’ start.”, she said.   She left the room, and soon came face-to-face with one of her close friends. It was Mokoto Aihara, a young lady who competed in the Olympics some time ago and won a gold medal. She had a huge sense of honor and pride, but she was also shy and humble too. Her dream was to battle strong and worthy opponents, like her friend Aigle, thus her entering the Rumble Roses.   “Hello, Reiko. You finished packing?”, Mokoto inquired.   “Yup, now I’m off to the gym. Care to join me?”, the young wrestler replied.   “Sure, why not? It gives us some time to bond together.”, the Black Belt Judo master answered.   As they walked to the elevator, Mokoto decided to bring up some conversation. “So, is this city where you were born in?”, she asked.   Reiko answered, “Yes, it is. I’m hoping to see a friend here, one that I have not seen in a long time. I hope he remembers me, though.”.   Mokoto asked, “Who is this friend’s name?”   The sexy Japanese wrestler smiled and answered, “Yugi Motou, also known as the King of Games here.”.   As they continued to talk and walk, they passed by a room. They did not know that this room was occupied by a delinquent named Candy Cane, a redhead that was pretty good at fighting and having a good heart underneath her fiery exterior. She heard Reiko mentioning Yugi, and that caught her attention.   “Hmmm, she Reiko’s friends with that famous Duelist, eh? Wonder if he’s loaded? If so, he could help me save the orphanage I grew up in! Better make my move before that Japanese girl does!”, she said to herself.   She left the hotel room, making sure that her teacher Miss Spencer wasn’t around. Said teacher was following her everywhere, trying to get her back to school. But, the rock ‘n’ roll brawler had other plans.   The battle was about to begin!   (Author’s Notes: So, how was this for a beginning? Short, yes.
