Chapter Four:

Kagome walked over to the bed and sat down on the black and silver velvet and silk covers. "Wow, it's soft." She said and smiled. "What time is it?"

"Around nine-thirty," Hiei said. "It would probably be wise to go to bed now so we can wake up in the morning."

"Yea, I guess so. Besides if I fall asleep in Sesshomaru-anikis' class he'll probably hang me by my ears…" She said remembering her illusion and dropped it; her ears twitched on her head and her tail curled around her leg. "From what I hear we get to learn basically about ourselves this year… I wonder if we can use our real demon forms and not our humanoid ones, cause I haven't used mine yet…"

"Why don't you, no one's here to stop you…" Hiei said and tilted his head to the side. "I certainly won't."

"Well, I'd rather not really at the moment. Cause most of the demons I've meet that went into their true form were crazy and out of control even when they were nice before they transformed…" She sighed and fell back onto the bed with her eyes closed. "God I'm glad I don't have to share a room with a bunch of girls who snore…You don't snore do you Hiei?" She said and sat back up.

"No Kagome, I don't snore." He said and sat on the other side of the bed. "It's amazing,"

"What?" she said.

"You are the first person, other than my sister and Kurama, to ever get me to show any real emotions. I don't normally like too many people." He said and looked around the room again. "I wonder why I like you so much."

"I wish I could tell you, but unfortunately I don't know either." Kagome said and crawled under the blankets. "You coming, it's late and I'm sure your tired."

"Hn, a little bit." Hiei said and striped down to is boxers and pulled a pair of black silk pants out of his dresser, put them on and crawled into the bed next to her. "Goodnight, Kagome."

"You too Hiei, pleasant dreams." Kagome said as her eyes drifted shut.

***********Kagomes' dream. ***********

Kagome sat under a cherry tree in the middle of a grassy field and dressed in her usual colors of black and silver. `Red eyes,' she thought. `Beautiful red eyes, with a hint of gold. "His eyes are that color.'" She voiced the last part.

"You were talking about me?" Hiei asked walking up to her. "I hope you were love, I'll have to kill the person you want to be with."

"You can kill yourself if you want but I'll be heart broken." Kagome said and smiled. "You know I don't want anyone but you,"

"You're just lucky I love you," Hiei said and sat next to her and pulled her into his lap. "Maybe you would be willing to be my mate soon."

"Maybe," Kagome said and snuggled up to him. "But what would we name our pups?"

"Hm, I was thinking something along the lines of Tai or Akira." Hiei said and nuzzled her neck. "Can I mark you so no one else can have you," He asked.

"Do you want to?"

"Yes,"

"Then go ahead."

"Hn, alright," He said and licked her neck in a certain spot before sinking his fangs in and licking the blood off of the wound. "Your blood is exquisite, like honey and sugar."

Kagome bolted awake in a cold sweat and looked around the room searching for something that seemed to be lost. `Hiei, me in love with him…How, I've only known him for two days now.'

"Kagome," Hiei murmured. "Are you ok, you look a little pale. Perhaps you should go to the hospital wing."

"No, I'm fine… Just a strange dream…"

"Did it have anything to do with a cherry tree that's blossoms were in full bloom and you sitting underneath it and you being in my lap. Then the mark…" He said blushing slightly.

Kagome turned red and nodded. "Um, well I um…Just, and… Oh lord."

"Dreams don't lie…" Hiei said and turned to face her fully and moved her hair off of her shoulder to reveal two fang marks. "I guess I really did make you my mate then… Sorry."

"It's ok, I rather like the idea of being someone's mate." Kagome said and smiled at him. "But now if you and I stop liking each other, then I will never find a mate but you will still be able too."

"I would never leave you, I guess that dream was right. I love you."

Kagome smiled. "The second day we've known each other and we're already in love, how odd is that."

"Very, but I don't see myself not loving you." Hiei said with a smirk and leaned over and kissed her lightly on the lips and cradled her face in his hands. "One day, when we are older, will you bare my pups?"

"Of course, I would love to." Kagome said and gave him a light kiss in return. "I'm your forever."

"I know you are, I'm the one who marked you remember?" Hiei said playfully and ducked out of the way of a flying pillow. "Ha-ha, you missed… UhOh," He said and ducked into his bath room.

"You wimp come out of there," she said and was knocked backwards when Hiei ran out and tackled her.

He got an evil glint in his eye and smirked evilly, then suddenly pinned her arms above her head and kissed her deeply. During this distraction he had made it where she couldn't move at all.

"Let me up!" She said when the kiss was broken.

"Ummm, no that's ok. I like you being right there." Hiei said and smirked again. "I think I'll stay right here, love."

Kagome blushed and turned her head. "Come on and just let me up… Please."

"Oh fine, you know you destroy fun. You fun destroyer."

"I'm hurt Hiei, you really think that?" She said with a tear drop coming down her face.

"I…I'm sorry, I was only kidding. You really aren't a fun destroyer." Hiei said with a pained tone. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

"It's ok, besides, you just gave me enough room to do this…" Kagome said and flipped him on his back.

"Why you little…"

"Vixen?"

"Yes exactly… Now what are you going to do if I do this…" He said and leaned up and kissed her deeply while scraping his fangs lightly over her lips. He broke the kiss (to much kissing, must…stop…making…them…KISS!) and watched her look of contentment fade as she realized he was no longer beneath her.

"Damn you," She murmured and looked at the clock. "6:48, I guess we should get ready…" She walked over to her dresser and pulled out her robe to put on and noticed it didn't have her colors or house sign on it. So she pulled out another one that had happened to be the same as the first. "I guess sense we aren't in the dorms anymore we're not exactly in a house…"

"I suppose so." Hiei said and pulled his shirt over his head.

"Hiei…sense you marked me can I…Mark you back?" Kagome blushed and looked up at him.

"Of course, whatever to keep you happy and mine." He said and tilted his head to the side for her.

She cautiously walked over to him and dipped her head down and nipped at his neck for a moment causing him to sigh contently and close his eyes before she sunk in her fangs and sucked the blood from it and licked the wound clean.

"Hmm, cherries and vanilla." She said and backed away. "We need to go down to the dinning hall and see if it would be possible to get some coffee."

"Why?"

"I wanna see what kind of after taste there will be after drinking your blood." Kagome said and smiled at him happily. "Besides, I like coffee."

"Hn, alright. Whatever you want love." Hiei said and hugged her before they left the room. `I can't wait till we can have children, but me being a forbidden child and her being perfect like she is…Will it work…I hope it does she said that she was like a forbidden child… Maybe it will. I really must think on the bright side.'

"HIEI," Kurama called from behind them. "Hiei, Hiei wait for me!"

"Oh, hello Kurama." Kagome said and waved. "Is something wrong?"

"Ginny, she didn't come back to the dorms last night!" He said franticly. "Do you know where she went?!"

"Oh why yes, I do. Her and Hermione are sharing a room now."

"Oh thank god," He said and took a deep breath. "I thought I was going to go insane."

"I think you already did," Hiei smirked. "Do you have a thing for the little vampire?"

Kurama blushed at turned his head. "NO…Maybe…Yes, I like her. She's just so kind hearted and sweet. Besides, I could ask the same about you. Do you have a thing for the little vampire standing next to you?"

"Yes as a matter of fact, I do love her; and it only took two days of spending a very little bit of time with her." Hiei said and grabbed Kagome around the waist and nuzzled her neck. He breathed in deeply and kissed the mark on her neck. "She's the best smelling thing I've ever smelled, and I love her to death."

Kagome blushed slightly and looked at Hiei and smiled. "You're lucky I love you, other wise I may have kicked your ass for that."

"Hn, likely. You threw a pillow at me this morning and missed." He said and smirked at her again and ran a hand softly down her back making her shiver.

"Um, Hiei may I have a word with you?" Kurama asked and bowed as an apology to Kagome before pulling him away. "You didn't do anything to her did you?! If you did something that could jeopardize our mission to protect the vampire lords granddaughter Koenma will kill us… Wait, AHH Kuwabara and Yusuke still don't know we found her. But still don't do anything you'll regret… She's important to us."

"Hn, but Kurama. Do you really think I would do something to her with out permission?"

"………"

"I see, well if being in love with her will jeopardize our mission to protect her…I'll just have to be more cautious, in protecting my mate then Won't I…"

"Your mate?!"

"Yes, my mate. I marked her last night and she marked me this morning."

"You are bound for eternity now you know…" Kurama said and looked down at his short friend.

"Yes, I realize this and no one will ever bring harm to her as long as I am around." Hiei said and walked back over to Kagome and took her hand. "Come on, we need to get there and came back to get our stuff before classes start."

"Ok," she said and looked up at him. `Beautiful red eyes with a hint of gold. I never thought I'd be the mate of someone so beautiful and strong as he is…' she thought and hugged his arm causing him to look down at her and smile.

"I love you," He said and pushed the doors opened to reveal a nearly empty room. "why is no one here, it can't be any later than 7:05…"

"Kagome," Ginny said running up to them. "Dumbledore gave us the day off because he said there was a couple here who was planning on marriage soon…Dumbledore announced it about 3minutes ago."

"Who?" Kagome asked calmly.

"I don't know, you should ask him but tell me when you find out who!"

"Sure," Kagome said and watched her run away. "Was that strange or was it just me?"

"It was strange…" Hiei said and sat them down at the Slytherin table. "This is too odd."

"Hello mudblood," A voice sneered. "Why are you sitting with her Hiei, you should be over there with the pure bloods."

"Molfoy, do you ever shut up?!" Kagome growled and glared at him.

"Oh, I get it." He said. "Hiei, you devil! You got her in the sack didn't you?!" Molfoy began to laugh.

"I didn't, we will save that until we are out of school." Hiei said and smirked when he saw Molfoys' shocked expression.

"Molfoy, go back to your dorm." A cold icy voice said from behind of them.

Kagome who recognized the voice turned around and smiled. "Hello big brother, how was your night last night?"

"It went quite well thank you, oh, your mother sent this, this morning and you weren't here yet. Post comes at 7:00. I think it's a CD or something along those lines."

"Thank you," She said as he leaned down and received a hug and a kiss on the cheek from her. "I guess I won't get to be in your class till tomorrow then…And I was looking forward to it too."

"No, not until next week. The schools schedule has been cleared due to a couple who is going to get married." Sesshomaru said and winked at her. *So, you and Hiei are mates now, good. I was worried you would never find anyone for you…*

"Um, thanks…Who is the couple getting married?*

*Your friend Ginny and Kurama. Imagine in only one day too, at least the two of you waited two days. But I hope you decide to have a ceremony also.*

*We might if Kagome wants too,* Hiei broke in. *We'll do what ever she wants…*

*You are a truly dedicated mate aren't you, Hiei?* Sesshomaru bowed his head. (He's standing right there, they can see him.) *You have my blessings, we can hold a mating ceremony, no one has to know about it though. Oh and Hiei if you hurt my little sister, I'll kill you.*

*I won't, I love her with all that I am, I couldn't hurt her if I wanted to.* Hiei nodded.

*I love you Sesshomaru-aniki…*

*I love you lil one. I'll see the two of you later.*

*Bye*

"And Kurama was talking about me jeopardizing the plan." Hiei said and made sure Kagome new what he was talking about. "So what did your mom send?"

Kagome shook herself and ripped opened the package. "Oh wow!" She said and jumped a little bit. "She sent me Concrete Blonde /Bloodletting/ and Garbage!"

"Oh really, wanna go listen to them out side, or would you like to go to Diagon Ally?" Hiei asked.

"How about, we listen to them while we're at Diagon Ally…" Kagome smiled.

"Works for me."

"Hey wait a second, you're not aloud to go to Diagon Ally !"

"We can and we will," Hiei said and grabbed Kagome and disappeared.

************Not Five minutes later*************

"Professor Snape, Hiei and Higurashi left school grounds." Molfoy said calmly.

"I know they did Molfoy, they went to Diagon Ally so they could get the things they need for their potion."

"What potion?"

"Did you forget already Mr. Molfoy. The potion you have to make for my class."

"What, we do get to go to Diagon Ally or have help from an older student." Molfoy started to get finicky.

"They get to help one another because they have no choice Mr. Molfoy. They already have their potion figured out and have a bottle of it but that's not enough for the both of them. As vampires they can only sustain each other for a short period of time and it's impossible for them to be together every second of the day. If they were to go into bloodlust of even get the red hunger this school could be in ruins and the entire population of the school would drop until the number was four."

"why four?"

"Kagome, Hiei and two others. You can't kill what is already dead Mr. Molfoy and don't go to any of the other teachers they will tell you the exact same thing I just did. And as for Dumbledore, he's the one who gave them permission to go when they needed to or just wanted to get away from you all, so really they can go anywhere in London they want."

"Fine, I will see you later professor Snape." Molfoy said and left. "They have the teachers fooled… Well lets see how far they can take this before everyone figures it out."

**********OK then**********

"Oh wow Hiei thank you," Kagome said and looked at the flowers he had given her. "They're beautiful."

"You're welcome, I'm glad that you like them." He said and took her free hand and pulled her into a vacant area. "Did you wear you regular clothes,"

"Yea," Kagome said.

"Ok good, I wanted to take you somewhere in London I found when I was here my first year. It's kind of a café but not. It's only opened at night so we can just walk around until it opens."

"Oh really."

"Hn, you should like it. Though some of the people may see you as an insult and the other way around."

"So they might insult me but I'm also insulting them. Why…"

"Because, you are different as a vampire, you don't have a mark."

"I think I might be able to get away with the matting mark. But you weren't a vampire till recently how would you know?"

"I just walked in. They can't stop me besides everyone there thought I was a vampire until someone pulled my headband off. It's different. The kind of demon I half am is a fire one but my demon for I have eyes everywhere and the one my forehead is fake, a Jagon eye. So they saw it and kicked me out… I personally thought it was hilarious."

"I bet you did," Kagome said and smiled. "Well how about we get out of here and wander aimlessly around London?"

"Works for me." Hiei agreed and they left the ally. "It's noon already," He said looking at the clock tower. "I guess floo powder doesn't get you places as fast as we originally thought."

"I suppose not, well lets go then," Kagome said and she and Hiei left.

"Professor, did she fall for it," Ginny asked.

"Yes, she thinks that Kurama and you are getting married. That Hiei is a little trickier than I thought he was." Sesshomaru said and looked down at her. "We need to get it ready for when they come back. Come now go get your boyfriend and Hermione and meet me in the court yard."

"Yes sir,"

(Sorry I just can't stand to write another whole day in three chapters so this on is about over)

After about seven hours Hiei and Kagome noticed the sun going down and smiled. Kagome being the genius she was sometimes pulled a rose out of her hair and turned a petal into a black velvet cloak.

"Fox magic isn't the same as the magic at school is it?" She asks.

"No, I don't think so, or it can't be counted as so because the demons that don't go to school still use their magic."

"Ok, good. I don't wanna be expelled because I made a cloak… Want me to make you one?"

"No, that's ok, I don't need one, thank you though, love."

Kagome blushed. "It's no problem…So it's night now. Should we go back?"

"No, I was taking to a special café remember?"

"Oh yeah, alright then. When are we going?"

"Now," Hiei said and scooped her up and ran quickly to the place they were going. When they stopped Kagome looked up at a brick building with boarded up windows. Out side there was a long line of people dressed in weird clothes and had strange hair styles. "You ready to go in?"

"Yeah," Kagome said and looked up at him, and her silver eyes flashed with love and envy for him which caused him to smile lovingly at him.

"We'll go in like everyone else, you have to get a stamp." He said and took her hand and led her to the line. "I hope this goes good."

"Me too, I don't want us to be ganged up on."

"Humans," A voice said. "What the fuck, humans shouldn't be in line for here. You can get in your humans, and short ones at that."

"You should learn to keep you mouth shut," Kagome sneered at the vampire person behind of them.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU LITTLE WENCH!!!" He yelled.

"You can not kill what is not living." Hiei said and also turned around.

"I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GOT OUR PASSWORD BUT IT WON'T MATTER IN A MOMENT WHEN YOU ARE DRAINED!" He yelled again. "AND YOU'RE FIRST WENCH!"

"You will not touch my mate!" Hiei growled and pressed his sword into the vampires' neck. "When it comes down to it, you indeed can't kill what isn't living but you can destroy it."

"NEXT!" The guy up front said.

"Let us go, love." Hiei said and they walked up to the guy.

"Get outta here, mortals are not welcome here."

"Why do you keep calling us mortals and human. We are most certainly not." Kagome said calmly.

"Oh yea, so who turned you?"

"I was born a vampire and I turned him." She said and glared.

"Vampires can't have kids, only the royal family can."

"Damn it, you can't tell me what I am and what I'm not. I should tell gramps. Besides my mother was a silver fox yokai (I looked it up this is how the word is really spelled) and my father was the damned heir to the thrown. His name was Virgil and he died when my little brother was three I was five. I could give you a life history on him if I wanted."

"Sure, if you can then what was his wife's name?"

"No one knows that, but if you must know her name was Aiko and they didn't marry for they were mated so they didn't have to."

"Very good, where's you marks I heard you say you were mates."

Kagome pulled the collar of her shirt away from her neck to reveal the marred skin as did Hiei but he only tilted his head to the side.

The guy looked them over and prodded at them for a moment then stopped when her heard both Kagome and Hiei growl loudly at him. "my apologies, you may go right in."

"Thank you." Kagome bit out and she and Hiei walked in.

Then next guy walked up to him. "I'll give you fifty dollars to keep and eye on them."

`Deal," The vampire said and followed them in.

"Hiei, we're being follow." Kagome said. "can we leave soon. I know we just got here, but these people are making me nervous."

"Sure, Would you like to leave now?"

"Please,"

"Alright, come on then." He said and they began to walk out when they were stopped.

"Where do you think you are going?!" A familiar voice sneered.

"Leaving, what else. If a mortal comes in they are either turned or we kill them and I would like to turn you so how about you ditch shorty over there and come with me.?"

"You a lunatic, I can't be turned I'm already half vampire." Kagome said and turned around with Hiei. "Besides why would I want to leave my mate. I will destroy you if you touch either one of us. You didn't deserve to be turned on December eleventh of 1987. My gramps just told me."

*No problem, so you have a mate now. Congratulations I guess I'll can't ask that Hiei boy to be your mate anymore…*

*Gramps, Hiei is my mate.*

*Oh, well that made it easer for me then didn't it…*

Alright so, I'm going to start making the chapters shorter because making them as long as I do makes me run out of good ideas fast so…Plus I need more time to work on them and get them straight…. Please forgive me…:::Flying objects::: AAHHHH, sorry I'll try to update asap.
