Chapter 1- Their Last Night Together

Today started like any other day, me going to school, a high school junior and going to my boring classes. Today went by fast so I was able to go home to see if Yami was there or not. As I walked in through the door, Yami ran to it and hugged me hard. "I'm so happy that you're finally here! I missed you so much." He yelled. "I see that you're in a happy mood huh Yami?" I asked sarcastically. He was home waiting just for me. I was very happy for him to be there.

"So, are you ready to go out yet?" He asked. "no, just hold on." I replied. He was in a rush to take me out with his friends: Shuyin, Inuyasha, Miroku, Jean, Tidus, Bear, Crim, Sora, and Kenshin. "Can we go now Mai?" Yami asked me for the fifth time. "I'm ready." I said. I was wearing a black shirt with a silver/white skirt. We were supposed to meet at the Mall. But they were very late. "Sorry, we had to help someone with a flat tire." Shuyin said. "It's okay, just don't be late again." Yami said.

"So, what did you want us to come here?" for Inuyasha asked. "Uh, Mai could you get us something to eat please?" Yami asked. "I guess so. I'll get us some burgers." I told them.

"I don't want Mai to know about the problem in Kyoto, so Kenshin, what's going on?" I asked him. "It seems that a new evil has made it's way up to the surface. Someone or something has taken people from Kyoto and has turned them into slaves with weird powers." He told us. "Well, all we have to do is kill the man who's' controlling it." Inuyasha smirked. "It's not that easy to kill someone who has a whole town in their control." Shuyin said. "Hah, you should know. You tried to do it with Vegnagun. And you failed badly." Tidus said laughing. "Well, if you're so happy, then why is it that I got Yuna and you got stuck with Rikku huh? Laugh at that tough guy!" Shuyin snorted to him. "People, please. Let's not fight each other over to girls." Crim said. "I agree, you two need to stop." Bear said as he nodded his head to Crim's statement.

Well, now that we know what we're going to be fighting, we need to get in touch with Bit and his group." Jean said. "I will take care of that, all that you all need to do is get the car ready for us so we can head out," I told them. "But, in the meantime, we must prepare ourselves for it." I continued. "I'm back with the food, eat up everyone!" Mai said is a cheerful voice.

I was finally able to bring the food to everyone after a half hour of waiting in line. Jeez, it's like forever to wait in line for a pizza in the mall. It was about 9 p.m. when we went back home. "Yami, why don't you stay here with me for awhile? You live such a far way from here. It would be much safer for a little while." I asked him as we walked into my home. He politely agreed to stay here for a couple of days. "Mai, I wanted to ask you this question for a while but I wasn't sure when I should've asked it," Yami told me. "I just wanted to know, what do you see in me?" He continued. I was frozen in my place. Why did he ask that kind of question? I mean, I see love in him and lots of it. I had thought. "What I see in you? I see that I love you." I answered. He walked over to me and held me in his arms. "I'm glad that I fell in love with you, you truly are something special. Here, I bought this while we were at the mall today." He said. He handed me a rose which smelled very nice. "I love you too my rose." He replied to me as his lips met mine. It was my first kiss so I wanted to enjoy all of it. There we were, kissing in the middle of the living room.

There they were, helping each other get undressed as the clothes dropped onto the floor as the both laid on the couch to begin their fun on their last night together.
