This is my second attempt at a Zoids lemon so please don't flame me. I don't own Zoids: Chaotic Century, the characters belong to their respective companies to which I have no clue as to who they are but I give them recognition anyway.

Aftermath Romances: Discoveries Part 1

"Man that Raven is sure very hard to find. It's been six months since we were assigned and only one word of his sighting," a boy with spiky hair said to a girl with blonde hair on the screen of his Zoid. "Hey Fiona, how are things going with Dr. D."

"Things have been fine Van," Fiona answered. "I'm done with helping the doctor on his research for now so I have been visiting your sister here at the Wind Colony. I would like to see you again and I think that some one here can help give you a clue to finish your mission."

"How convenient, I was about to visit to search there but I have to wait for a while I have a couple of visitors showing up," Van answered the Zoidian girl.

"Alright, I'll be waiting for you," Fiona said. The image on the screen faded from Van's view. The famous Zoid pilot of the Blade Liger leapt out of the cockpit to ground. Images of Fiona flashed through his mind. It has been six months since he last saw Fiona just before his latest assignment, to find Raven. Although the rogue soldier has been pardoned, both nations would like to know what he has been up to. The last word on him was two months ago where he competed in a martial arts tournament and won $50,000 but he had disappeared just as quickly. The metallic clang of two Zoids interrupted his thoughts as he watched the clouds move across the sky. He looked down to where the sound came from and saw two Zaber Tigers approach him.

"Ah, just the two that I have been waiting for." Van said as he saw two figures jump from their Zoids. One was the older Schubaltz brother, and the other was a young boy dressed in a purple shirt and white pants. "Colonel Schubaltz, Emperor Rudolph, how are things going?" Van asked.

"Things have been going well," Karl, answered, "my brother has finally found someone so you wouldn't have to worry about him flirting on Fiona. Emperor Rudolph here wouldn't let me not take a vacation in sorts so he had me come as his bodyguard for his vacation and enjoy the time off."

"Yeah," Rudolph replied, "he never takes any time off. I would think that he would've lost his mind by now so I'm having him take some time off his normal routine. How's your search for Raven?"

"It could be better, two months ago he participated and won a martial arts tournament. He then disappear off of Zi once again shortly after," Van answered. "I was going to the Wind Colony and pick Fiona up for some possible assistance and she said that some one there might actually help. It is the only spot that I haven't checked."

"It might be interesting. To visit the home town of two legendary Zoid pilots, both from the same family," the Imperial officer replied. "It is quite important to know exactly what he is up to because his sudden vanishing act makes it hard for both militaries too rest with that one uncertainty."

"That is true, I am almost at my wits end here," Van said. "Oh, I almost forgot, just before I got sent on this mission, I got a promotion to Captain."

"I'm not surprise on that," the young royalty replied, "with that bold plan to defeat the Death Saurer, it was to be expected. I would've thought that you'd get to be a major."

"I haven't been in the military long enough to surpass O'Connell," Van answered. "Though I think we should be getting ready to go now if we are to make it to my home before night." The two nodded before the three hopped into their Zoids. Sunset was approaching by the time they reached the Wind Colony and Van's home. "Hey sis, I'm home and I have a couple of visitors with me."

A brown haired lady, a few years older than Van stepped out of the kitchen. "I know, I heard from Fiona who is visiting the guy that might help. She had been asking around the village to secretly help you. She said that she found some one but won't say whom. Now, who are these two?" the female asked pointing to Rudolph and the Colonel. They introduced themselves to Van's sister, who introduced herself as Maria. Shortly after, Fiona's voice was heard outside along with another person. The door opened to reveal Fiona along with a guy with glasses that Van recognized as the priest.

"Leon, you might know where Raven is," Van asked in surprised. 'What would my father's friend know about this?'

"I might have a clue on where he might be if he is on this continent," the priest answered. Maria had dinner prepared for the guests.

As soon as dinner was done, Van asked the question he had to ask, "What would you know of Raven's whereabouts?"

"I might have a good clue, but I have to tell you everything. You remember about your father's death?" Van nodded in response. "I told you he died protecting a village from Imperial attack. The village he was protecting was this one." Van's and Maria's mouths dropped. This was the first time they have heard the full details. "We were on a mission to search for an Organoid. In the early days of that mission, or more rather, it was a night. We found an Imperial research center that specialized in Organoid research 90 miles from New Helic in disputed territory. What we found there was shocking. We saw an Organoid capsule that was opened fairly recently at the time along with three bodies lying on the floor in the room. The two adult bodies were dead with strange markings which we could guess were from and Organoid, but the young boy was still alive, we guessed that the two adults were the kid parents."

"So what would this have to do with Raven," Colonel Schubaltz asked some what displeased with the story.

"Well I took a picture of that boy. It has been nine years ago." Leon put the picture down. Everyone got a glimpse of the depressed looking boy with large purple eyes and long black hair ending in a ponytail over his left shoulder.

"Oh, he's so cute," Fiona and Maria, chirped at the same time.

"Look at the mark on the right cheek," Rudolph said. Van, Schubaltz, and Fiona gasped in surprise as they saw the very same mark that the Imperial Maverick has on his face.

"That's the same mark as Raven," Van said.

"Will you please continue?" Karl asked now intrigued. He always wondered about Raven's family. He never would've guessed this.

"Yes," the priest continued, "well when the boy woke he was in a state of shock. I guessed he took a shot to the head that wiped out his memory. He couldn't remember anything, not even his own name. I could also assume that most of this memory loss could even be permanent. Dan was going to adopt the boy and take him home. Then came that Imperial attack. Prozen threatened to destroy this village if we didn't hand the Organoid capsule that we've found. Dan agreed only if Prozen guaranteed the Wind Colony's safety, but Halford refused and attempted to destroy the Organoid. The good major had me promise to take care of his kids and he wiped out the entire force with a kamikaze move. During the time I was arguing with Halford and the black Organoid emerging, my back was turned to the kid and he was gone. I was also missing one of my guns."

Van was shocked. His arch-nemesis could've been his stepbrother. He had to ask, "Where was this research center?" The priest responded by taking out a map and pointing the general location. 'That is a very isolated area and very idealistic to hide. It is close to the ocean and a nearby river that provides all kind of fish and other seafood. The river is in a forest so that provides Raven's with all sorts of animals for Raven to hunt for food. The only reason Raven would have to leave is to get his other nutritional needs.' "I think we should check it out tomorrow."

Rudolph looked skeptically. "Are you sure? I mean I don't see how he could live in an area that remote."

"It is quite simple with Raven. He did survive in the desert for years, as a virtual walking zombie," Fiona responded. "When he first appeared after all those years, I noticed a deadness in his eyes. I'm guessing that incident of him wasting ammo with that Dark Horn was his conscious mind reawakening after see Van."

"You mean that he battled that whole battle on instincts alone," Karl was surprised. "He is going to be so pissed when he finds that out." 'I must say that this is an interesting development. There is so much about that Maverick that no one knows about, including himself.' The Imperial officer had thought to himself. "Well it is getting late and let's get prepared for tomorrow's events. Everyone agreed and prepared for sleep.

-Raven's home, Morning-

The first rays of sunshine hit Raven face causing him to stir as he opened his eyes to greet the new day. Events of the previous night flashed in his mind as he looked down at the blue-haired beauty sleeping on top of him with a smile of content on her face. 'She must have enjoyed herself last night.' The silk sheets of the bed covered every thing below their waists. 'I just hope her Organoid doesn't do anything to me.' He remembered the morning after the first time he made love to Reese, when Specula apparently attacked for no reason. He know the two had strong psychic powers, but for Specula to see, hear, and sometimes feel what Reese does has got to be frustrating at times for the blue Organoid. His thoughts were disrupted for a bit as he felt Zoidian girl shift her weight a bit to snuggle as close to Raven as she could get. Like the former maverick was the only source of warmth she had. Raven smiled at the feeling of being needed. It was a feeling that had been alien to him as far as he could remember. Everyone else just thought of him as a weapon, only to be used to advance his or her games. 'She probably thought that at first just to agree with Hiltz and Prozen but that changed as she got to know me for the me that I never knew existed. She gave me the motivation to do something for myself alone for the first time. The Guardian Force that I did things only for me, but if that was true, I would've out ranked Schubaltz by now if I ever wanted to hold rank.' Raven thought back during his training. 'I refused rank mainly thinking that I was going to show some resistance to Prozen but it turned out he wanted me to do that. Reese here was different, she to was be used as a weapon for others to advance their positions in the world never thinking that we would eventually stand to oppose them. That was the very thought that would eventually end them.' Reese mumbled his name in her sleep. 'Well at least I know that she dreams about me. I know, I'm just too much for her to resist.'

"Don't count on that fully," Raven let out a slight chuckle at Reese's light mumble.

'Good to know that she doesn't lose her sense of humor in her sleep,' Raven thought as he watched the blue-haired girl sleep. To him, it was a piece of heaven. Sure, she might not have some of the features that most men would like a women to have, but then, he wasn't like most men. He didn't care much for innocence of the darker truths of reality. He knew that she didn't have the biggest breasts but she was more developed in other areas than most and her skin was as soft and smooth as the sheets that covered the two. She was the best of both worlds, but he loved her for her understanding of what he went through because she went through the same thing. Thinking of these things almost made him forget one important detail. 'Wait a minute, when she said don't count on that fully, it was like-'

"So you finally caught on," Reese said interrupting Raven's thoughts. "I did enjoy you thinking about me, and you were just too comfortable to not take advantage of." Raven blushed at the statement that Reese just made.

"Well what is on today's agenda today?" Raven decided to ask.

"Well nothing much," Reese had answered. "Mainly you preparing for that full contact fighting tournament a couple of weeks away. Me going fishing for our lunch and dinner." Reese rolled to her right so that she off her dark-haired lover and got to her feet. "Not only that, but I have to wash my clothes, and we have some surprise guests coming here to check on what you are doing." That caught Raven's attention as he sat up.

"What, how would anyone know about this place?" Raven had been surprised that some one discovered his location. 'Who could it be? I guess there is only one way to find out.' The former soldier stood up to see that Reese had already beat him to the main bathroom while he was thinking. He decided to use the bathroom near the bedroom he had slept in during his childhood to clean himself. When he was done with his shower, he exited with a pair of sweatpants on. He saw Reese walk out their bedroom in her pilot suit. 'She always wears that suit when she has nothing clean to wear,' was Raven's last thought as he exited the building. Afternoon came by and lunch had past. Raven standing out in the field in his sweatpants and his feet taped up, throwing a series punches and kicks in succession for practice. He just couldn't shake off what Reese had told him earlier in the morning. Shadow decided to check out what was wrong with his master.

//Is something wrong, master? You just haven't been as focused. // The metallic lizard growled in question.

"Hey Shadow, I've just been thinking," Raven replied.

//How about you spar with me for a while? // Shadow growled. //It'd probably help more than fighting air. // Raven laughed a little a stepped into a fighting stance. The two went at each other for a while. Raven spent most of his time dodging, blocking and taking blows from Shadow's tail. He knew that was the Organoid's fastest, strongest and most dangerous body part. Withstand the punishment from it and no can get through his blocks and if they did, it wouldn't matter. Dodge it and even the fastest kicks won't touch him. Every now and then Raven would go on the offensive. His main goal was to push the heavy creature back but try not to hurt himself. Sometimes he would get close to Shadow and throw him down to the ground. The little spar was interrupted when the sound of Zoids approaching from the distance in the southwest.

"I don't believe," Van said in surprise as he watched Raven and Shadow fight against each other. "Leon was right about this place. I wonder what they were doing?"

"I'm guessing that they were sparring," Karl answered. "He just saw our Zoids approach."

'So, it was him,' Leon thought to himself in the back of Rudolph's Zoid. 'So much could've been avoided if I hadn't turned my back during that one incident.' The Wind Colony priest noticed something as caught a glimpse of the black Organoid. 'Wait that's the same Organoid that broke free from that incident.'

"So Shadow, this was what Reese meant by surprised guests," Raven said to his metallic friend. "Who'd ever thought that Van would find me here? The Blade Liger, Zaber Tiger SS, and the Great Zaber, all in one place." The young man watched as he saw the occupants of the Zoids leapt down to the ground. "Van and his girl as usual. Rudolph and Schubaltz, a surprise guest, HUH!?" Raven looked on in surprise as he saw the guy in glasses. 'I thought Prozen said that everyone in that Republican unit was dead.' Raven stared at the former military doctor as the group approached him with some caution. Raven waived Shadow to step back and that he'll handle this. "Ah, the Guardian, his lover, the high strung Colonel bent on maintaining, and the boy who has the whole world on his shoulders. What, do I owe the pleasure to having you here?"

The Colonel glared at the young man. "I'd watch what you say if I were you." 'I guess he hasn't changed much.' He caught a glimpse of some odd marks all over the Maverick's soldiers. Many of them were too long and straight to be battle scars. 'Those look like whip marks. Could Raven have defiant of Prozen.'

"I see you got your memory back?" Leon asked. Raven frowned in response.

"Only the last few minutes I spent with my father and after that," Raven said somewhat depressed. "If it wasn't for Reese, I'd never have any possible idea."

"Man that must be hard for you," she noticed Reese off in the distance with Specula and a bucket. "Reese is here too."

"Yeah, she's helped me as much she could with my memory," Raven answered. "I'm guessing that she has caught tonight's dinner. She told me some one was coming by today, and I would never guessed you guys, well at least him, would find me." Raven pointed to Leon.

"I definitely have to give Raven some credit. He sure has good taste for homes," Van complemented. "This place is huge."

"Well, as the good doctor here had probably told you," Reese said pointing to Leon. "This had been a Zoid research lab specializing in Organoid research. The two scientists spent a lot of time researching Organoids, even more so than their son, or so that's what I surmised when I tried probing into Raven's memory. If they had lived, he would most likely not be so hateful to Zoids, maybe even liked them eventually."

"I've been wondering what had happened to him when Van's father died? How did Prozen acquire him?" Leon asked.

"I'd tried to hunt the Organoid down with a gun that I picked up, but he got away," everyone turned to see Raven. "I came across Prozen talking to Hardin about a single Command Wolf wiping out his force. I decided to try to shoot him but one thing went wrong, the gun's safety so Prozen knocked me to the ground. The Organoid eluded him that day but he didn't want to go to Guygalos empty-handed, so guess what happens."

"He name you Raven and you replace the Organoid," the young emperor said.

"It would take Prozen five years to catch that Organoid and give it to me if I could tame it," Raven said. "I suspect that I know exactly what Organoid it was that killed my parents. I just need to ask Reese one thing. When you showed me my past, was that guy in the shadows laughing at the scene of me watching my parents die who I think it was?"

"If you're thinking Hiltz, then yes. I know that laugh anywhere," the sound of a fist hitting someone's skull filled the room as Raven backhanded the closest male without glasses. Van was out on his back.

"I thought Ambient was familiar. Sorry Van," Raven apologized, "but after hearing that, I needed something to hit. You just happen to meet the requirements that I needed. I would've punched this thing of marble, but I have a fighting tournament in a couple of weeks. I think I better check on those lobsters." Raven left for the kitchen where he had dinner cooking. Reese also left the room, leaving the guests by themselves.

"That's got to be hard for him. To find out an ally had been the one person that probably destroyed his happiness," Fiona said as she knelt down to tend to the fallen hero.

"Well that does explain those whip marks," Colonel Schubaltz said grabbing everyone's attentions. "I don't think any one ever dared point a gun at Prozen when everyone thought that he was respectable. I'm guessing Raven might've tried to go along with Prozen's ambitions until Prozen's true nature had been revealed, but Van got in his way." Raven stepped out of the kitchen with dinner in hand.

"You gone through a lot since I've last saw you," Leon said. "I wish I could've done something to save you."

"Don't blame yourself for that," Raven said. "I wouldn't have been the person that I became, true. Then Van wouldn't have become the person he is now. Reese walked in a pair of shorts and a tank top.

"Sorry," the blue hair lady said, "I had to do my half of the laundry today." Reese decided to try to embarrass Raven and sat down on his lap. A slight red color crept up on his face as both Van raised his eyebrows suggestively. Fiona just had a beaming smile on her and Karl and Leon just went on with their business.

"I don't see what the big deal is," the young emperor said before heading back to his meal.

"Who are you trying to fool," Van retorted. "I've your fiancée try to do the same thing to you." Now it was Rudolph's turn to blush as everyone, including Raven, had a good laugh. Nighttime fell and everyone was preparing for sleep. Since Van and company arrive in the afternoon, Raven decided to let them stay for the night. Rudolph was given his childhood bedroom. Both Leon and Colonel Schubaltz took a couch. He allowed Van and Fiona to sleep in Reese's and his room.

"None of these rooms are soundproof, so if you decide to have fun, keep it down," Raven said. Van and Fiona blushed at the statement.

"Don't think I didn't catch Van's slight hand movement during dinner," Reese said making Van blush even harder. "If you're wondering where Zeke has been, he's asleep outside with our Organoids." After an hour, all was quite except for Van's snoring which kept Raven and Reese up. "I swear he makes the noise of sawing wood sound good."

"I know, good thing I have gotten some outdoor gear," Raven wrote down a note saying that he and Reese couldn't sleep with Van's snoring before he and Reese left the building. The night was rather warm as they set up camp by the Organoids. "Well, today has certainly been an interesting day."

"You certainly said it," the Zoidian said as she lit a small campfire and Raven laid a rather large sleeping mattress away from the fire. Raven lied down with Reese right by his side and using his shoulder as a pillow. As the minutes went by, the two finally fell asleep.

Morning came and Van and company woke up to see Raven and Reese not around. They saw the note and got a good laugh at Van, before heading outside to see the two asleep right next to each other. Van said, "Well those two are perfect for each."

"Yeah, besides we have to go soon," Fiona replied. Using the other side of the note, Leon wrote down that they had to get back to the Wind Colony soon. After that, they quietly got Zeke and left.

The End

I know all those pages and no lemon in them. Well I thought of putting a sex scene in here right now, but I've never done a chapter past 6 pages and I felt this was getting chapter was getting redundant at the last part. Next chapter might be the last one and it continues this one. Don't expect it to be as long as this one.

Zoid Lessons: I decided to mention a few of the lesser-known facts about the Zoids anime series. Some of these coincide with the models and the "Zoids Saga" game that doesn't concern some of the additional allies. These facts are mainly about the Zoids themselves.

Names: This is more of a "Zoids Saga" thing but some Zoids have had an additional two letters on the end in the anime series as well. These letters often distinguish who pilots them and what type.

Van's Shield Liger and Blade Liger carry the letters BS or Ban Service on them. His Blade Liger at times in the series had AB for the Attack Boosters on it. In Japan, they don't distinguish between the B and the V, so Ban is just as legitimate as Van. Irvine's Zoids for some reason in the "Zoids Saga" game has AS. Colonel Schubaltz should has more of a mention because of his later Zoids, the Iron Kong Mk. II and the Zaber Tiger have an anti-air gatling unit that most Zoids of those types don't equip as the SS stands for Schubaltz Service. If you were to give Leon Toros and Leena two letters, they'd be LS. It would depend on the Zoid and the amount of armaments on that Zoid as to whose Zoid is it. Other Zoids that deserve mention:

Elephander AG (Assault Gatling) and CM (Command Unit). Watch the Zero Panzer episode, it started as a CM and went to AG.

Command Wolf AU has a long-range cannon, could be one barrel, or it could be two. Brads Command Wolf is a variant of this call an AC or Attack Custom.

Zaber Tiger AT: the Three Guards used this type of Zaber Tigers. They have a flight pack installed for increase speed and maneuverability. The Great Zaber, or Royal Zaber, is another type of AT.
