LiCat: Kimoooooo *sniff* you aren't supposed to tell them my author secrets.....*sniff*

Kimo: sorry but I was just explaining to them why all your fics are so...so da*n freaky...... ...oh this chap was fast aren't you working...

LiCat: yeah but I've gotten so much inspiration....

Kimo: but...but I haven't given you any??!!.......

LiCat: ^_^ I know....one of my co-workers....gave me the inspiration to Raven & Daijino's conversations......

CHAPTER 4

The blonde bolted up and almost fell out of his small bed. A scream left his lips and his orange eyed roommate rushed to his side.

"you alright? The same nightmare again?" he said with concern showing in his voice.

"almost, but this time....there was two creatures hunting the beast" the orange eyed guy sat down next to his blonde friend.

"Did it end the same way? And those creatures...god or bad??" the blond guy started to shiver and the orange eyed guy put a blanket over his shoulders.

"yes, always the same end....and those creatures.....I really can't say.....they where glowing in a bright light....." he said and closed his grey eyes

"But its just a nightmare....ne? the only thing you can do about it is ignore it"

"yeah you are right.....gomen nasai....good night Skorpan[1]!" the blonde said with disbelief in his voice.

"g´ night....I'll see you in the morning" the orange eyed guy called Skorpan said and went over to his own bed.

As I gazed over the room I noticed that it was along time ago since they had cleaned it, dirty clothes, things all over the floor and an icky smell that hurt my nose. The four watchers where sitting at the table eating and didn't bother to give us one glance, I'm happy for that. In a couple of moments we reached the door, walked through it and shut it.

Now we only had this hall, another hall, the huge courtyard and the main gateway left. Then suddenly it hit me like a tornado, delivery boys weren't allowed outside the castle and we where in a hurry. I grabbed his arm and I think he also was about to jump out of his skin.

"what??" he whispered in a hoarse voice.

"we can't leave the castle with these clothes" I whispered back to him and that got him to turn and look at me.

"what?!" he repeated.

"we gotto change clothes!" I said and dragged him down the hall. If I remembered it all correctly the tailor's room would be in a room a couple of corridors away. To our relief we reached the room without meeting anybody. When I think about it I realize that it's not so strange cause it *was* dinner time.

After a bit convincing I got Raven to put on a blue dress with a white veil to cover up the bandages. To my delight I found one of the hunters hooded uniforms and put it on. I also found a bag and stuffed it full off our clothes. I put on a couple of leather boots with high heels and Raven had on his own strange looking slippers so we was about the same height. I hung the bag over my shoulder and offered my arm to Raven.

"Come on and hold onto me lady, we're supposed to play love birds." I said with a sly grin. He looked down on his dress growled and walked up to me.

"I'm gonno get you for this Daij!" I giggled and we walked over to the door.

"ooh hentai are we..."

"you wish" he hissed as we walked out into the corridor. We meet a few maids on our way to the courtyard, but a hunter walking his girlfriend around the castle was an usual sight here, but if they had looked closer they would be in for a surprise. We were walking past the stable when I noticed a small boy holding the rein's of a big magnificent horse.

If someone was watching me they would se a big wicked grin appear on my face. I couldn't let this opportunity slip through my fingers, now could I?! But we would take a big risk, I lead Raven to the back of the stables. With no one in sight I stopped. He did too and then I put my arms around his waist and pushed him against the stables walls.

I could feel him stiffen and then relax when he realized why I did what I did, he wasn't dumb my elven friend. I wanted to talk, if someone came around the corner and saw us in that position, they would leave in an instant. They would also be to embarrassed to even think about what they might have over heard. He put his arms around my neck and I could feel a shiver run through my back.

"Do you know how to ride a horse? We are going to........borrow one" I said with a wicked smile.

"Have you always been this crazy or have you eaten something inappropriate" he said with what I think was a grin, but of course I couldn't be sure of that because of the veil.

"Nah...I think it's your fault" I said with a silent wicked giggle. Before he had time to reply I let go of his waist and mentioned to him that we should go back to the stables front again.

"Now come on we got a plan to follow!" he gazed up at the sky and let out a sigh that turned into a giggle.

"Oh old spirits of the earth why did you have to put me together with this human who thinks he's a genius with humor?!" I smiled and put my arm around his waist again.

"wasn't that totally out of character....aren't you supposed to be the quiet mysterious one?!" he rested his head on my shoulder as we went round the last corner.

"well we will have to blame that on you then....." we reached the kid holding the horse.

"OK you can give me the horse" I said with a voice dripping of authority.

"But, But, But" he said.

"But, but but what?! I said GIVE-ME-THAT-HORSE!" he couldn't do other then obey. That's the first thing kids learn when they get here. OBEY all people higher in rank then you or you will not stay here long. After a couple of moments debating with his conscience he handed me the reins

I climbed up into the saddle and then helped Raven up, it wasn't so comfortable. He put his arms around my waist and leaned his head against mine. We reached the gateway in a matter of moments. I nodded to the guard, he looked a bit suspicious but let us pass.

We had made it! I would never see my friends again. I rushed the horse into a gallop and the excitement I was feeling while we were escaping had started to vanish. A wave of questions took it's place instead. What was I supposed to do now? I didn't have any place to go to?

While a part of my brain was busy with the questions, another part registered that Raven's grip on my waist started to loosen and that the pressure of his head against mine got heavier.

"Rave? You ok?"

"...........yea...just....a....little....dizzy....that's.....all" he replayed with a faint voice.

[1] = Skorpan......is a Swedish word.......*giggle* I love that nickname......the English word for skorpa is... rusk.......hmmm the nickname should be The rusk...or something like that......
