"A Love that was Always There"

Ch. 8

**Flashback**

"Mommy, Daddy, I want to stay here with you!" Princess Zelda said to her parents. "Pumpkin, you know we can't let you stay here. Gannondorf will get you." Said her father. "Here darling, take this locket. When you open it up, it has the lullaby I sing to you. Use it to put Gannondorf away forever. When the time is right you will know how to use." Said the Queen. "I love you mommy and daddy," "we love you too sweetie." Hali suddenly woke up. "I REMEMBER! I REMEMBER WHO I AM, I'M THE PRINCESS!" Hali said to Rauru, "that's great princess, now we have to find out how to get out of here." He told her. She remembered her past, she remembered her parents, but most of all she knew how to put Gannondorf in the portal forever. "Rauru, help me find a way to get out of here okay," said Zelda.

Link was inside the castle. He saw a bunch of walking skeletons inside. He was anxious to use his new sword. They started surrounding Link. Link took his sword and done a special turn that killed all of them in one shot. Link looked at his sword and said, "Cool!" He suddenly heard a scream. He knew it was Zelda's voice. She kept screaming and he kept following her voice. The walking skeletons just kept coming toward Link. He would kill the them but it was taking him longer to get to Zelda and Rauru.

The screaming stopped. He knew something was wrong. He finally got to the basement but all he could see was a dead skeleton and an open dungeon cage. "Where did they go?" "LINK! HELP!" He knew that was Zelda's voice. He ran to find her. He knew Zelda's voice was coming through the next door. He walked in and saw Zelda and Rauru tied up. Gannondorf was there also. "LET THEM GO GANNONDORF!" Link yelled to him. "Yea what if I don't. You can't stop me." Gannondorf told him. "Yea well let's see about that" Link told him as he hurried up and headed toward Gannondorf for an attack.
