Nightlight

Authors Note: Read a New Dawn to figure out all of my little speech thingies. Oh and I start to get a little well what is it called… oh sensual (but not to much I think but I don't know) so cover your eyes if you want if not lean back and enjoy the show.

 

We open to the Titan Tower in the middle of the night, the arleam goes off (this is becoming a recurring thing you know). Scene cuts to BB room. BB is asleep, opens one eye lid

BB: Dude

Clock reads 1:30 am

Off in the distance you can hear Robin.

Robin: Titans go!!

Scene fads to down town Jump city. Titans land battle ready.

Cyborg: Hey, where is the lizard?

All titans look around of any evidenced of the lizard. None is found. A dark voice speaks from the darkness

Voice: I thought you could use more of a challenge

Robin: (shocked, then yelling) Show your face you coward!!!

Voice: ( in a mocking tone) Me, a coward? Oh, Robin how could you! (All titans look perplexed, thinking how in the hell does she know us) But I'll come out if you really want to.

A figure forms out of the shadows, even the titans own. The shadows seem to spin together to make a single dark female figure.

Figure: To see you finally in the flesh, what an honor.

The lady was the sexiest diva any of the guys had seen. Long legs were very much exposed; the only covering over them was a tight mini shirt. Her top was black with a V-collar relieving parts of her chest (not any bad parts mind you) and having gauzy materiel over her arms.

BB: Who are you? What are you?

Figure: Names Refraction and I am bent on your demise.

BB: And I thought that my jokes were bad (Get it? Bent, Refraction a.k.a. broken light. Ha Ha I'm funny)

Shadows started to race around the titans. They try to get away from them but have no luck. Soon the Titans are wrapped up to the knees in the shadow stuff.

Robin: Raven, Starfire do something!

Raven: Asarath, Metrion, and Zinthos!

Refraction: (laughing) that wouldn't help!

She was right instead of helping it made it worse. Soon all the titans except Cyborg were engulfed in the shadows.

Cyborg: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO THEM!!

He hears muffled screams from the girls “pods” and sees thrashing from BB's and Robin's.

Refraction: Torturing them, of course (smiling) so I don't have anyone in the way of fighting you.

Cyborg: What?

Refraction didn't reply. Slowly she bent and pulled something out of her boot. Cyborg soon saw that it was the handle to a sword or a dagger.

Refraction: now let the games begin, Un gard

She snaps her fingers and the few shadows that held Cyborg broke apart flying to the handle to form a long sword. Then she brushed her hands and the “pods” moved to the side of the street.

Cyborg: (pissed off) Your going to pay for what your doing to my friends

He charges up his gun arm and aims, then fires.

The shot goes harmlessly through her. Making only ripples were it had passed though

Refraction: going to have to do better than that big boy.

Then she charged with sword held high. She deftly ran him through the middle. Normally a fatal cut to a human or even a cyborg. But this was no ordinary sword. Cyborg sat kneeling pain; it had felt like a jolt to his systems, like there had been a power surge.

Refraction: (standing in front of him leaned back casually) you're probably thinking, Why didn't this kill me? But believe me; I could kill you… if I wanted to that is. Now stand up and face me like a man.

Slowly he stood up again. Aimed and missed like before. Each time she countered attacked with her sword it was harder to get up. Soon he was laying against a wall, Refraction standing over him.

Refraction: And I thought you would be a challenge

She hit him one last time, making the world go black.

 

Scene cuts to the T- tower. Cyborg is lying on the couch; the others sit around the table Starfire nuzzled against Robin, tear streaks running down her face. Raven is healing BB wounds, and then heals her own.

Starfire: How could you do such cruel things to such adorable animals?

Robin: (rubbing Starfire's head) its going to be OK Star, I promise

BB: who was that mad woman?

Raven: I believe her name is Refraction

BB: Wow Rae you know her?
Raven: No I do not but if your brain could comprehend simple English, you would have relished that she said her name was Refraction.

BB: (looking sheepish) Oh yeah…

Cyborg suddenly sits up.

Cyborg: (clutching his head) groan (looks at the others talking) Hello

Robin: Good morning Cyborg

Cyborg: What's the fucking time?

BB: 8:00 am

Cyborg: I'm taking an aspirin and going back to bed

Robin: go ahead (yawns) I think I'll do the same. Raven? BB? Star?

All nod their heads.

 

Scene cuts to Cyborg's room. He suddenly opens his eyes. Check his built in body clock, but it was blinking 12:00 (like when a VCR goes off during a storm). He sits up and groans. The suddenly he turns and sees that he is not alone.

Refraction: Why, hello Cyborg, so nice of you to drop by.

Cyborg: What!? What the hell are you doing here? And how in the hell did you find me?!

Refraction: I found you cause I followed you (shugging, then walking over to Cyborg's bed vaulting over him, or more over on top of him) and I followed you because I chose you

Cyborg: You chose me? But why me?

Refraction: Because you're hot.

Now all you all who are not into the sex crap close your eyes.

Cyborg: Whaaa…

Refraction leans into him pressing her chest against his own. Tenderly she started to bit his one still human ear. Cyborg's sensors read that she wasn't wearing a bra underneath

Cyborg: Uhh...

Refraction stops biting his ear to look at him strait in his eyes.

Refraction: Shuush (placing her finger on his mouth) I chose you because you wouldn't give up in the end, you kept fighting me, but now your finaly all mine, (simleing devilishly) all mine

Refraction presses her body against his and her mouth connected to Cyborg's. They start to kiss.

Cyborg: Wow she is really hot.

He feels her tongue in his mouth. Not meaning to him leans into the kiss, as he lets his hormones (I know he probably doesn't have any but do I give a damn uh… NO) fly. AS they made out Cyborg took a closer look at his…um make out-er. A chain from her neck held a small black prism and she also had a crown like circle on her forehead. He remembered that someone had looked very similar to this woman, but who… Suddenly Refraction pulls back.

Refraction: (hissing like a cat) the sun… the light. (Turning to Cyborg) This isn't over lover.

You can open your eyes now.

The sun starts to fill the room. She fades out into what is left of the shadows.

 

Yes I know. Major league short but you'll just have to deal. Oh and I don't own Lupin the third which Refractions last line is from. I start working on that next chapter soon… it might be named Brought to Light but I don't know yet…
