The clock is ticking

I'm hardly thinking

Picking up the phone

Calling home

I just don't know why

I started to cry

His words are slow

As he tells her what I've come to show

Wishing that I kept my mouth closed

So no one knows

What she's done to me

What I've come to be

He hangs up and turns to me

A concern look I see

Picking up the phone to call them

He's ready to let them in

But I'm not ready for this

I clench my hand in a fist

He's dialing the number now

"No, stop!" I wanna say somehow

Tears are strolling down my cheek

I feel so little and meek

What have I done?

I hear in my head our song

Everything is in slow motion

Like I took some kind of potion

But now all I feel is pain

I feel ashamed

In my head I whisper many words

I know that they cannot be heard

Goodbye to all I knew

Goodbye to being with you...mother
