A Warriors Tale

Blood shed down upon the earth

Fire burning everlasting as the hearth

I took the oath of protection

To rid the world of evil infection

I was to not find company

These words I have always heed

Then one day upon an accident

I met a woman with such an accent

I fell so much in love

I thanked the heaven above

Then my enemies came

Everything went back to being the same

Before I made her my wife

I left her to save her life

Hearts torn apart

From everything from the start

It came time to return

I wiped away the look of the stern

Thinking of the happy things to be

For her to stand beside me

Opening the door to my love

I saw her with a man in gloves

As I ran in fast paces

Her promise not kept

I ran to the closest ledge

When she came out of the hedge

We wed soon after

A baby cam into our lives

The family we were

What would I have done without her
