*Titans Tower*

It had been a long day with the titans all working together to add a sliding sheet of armor to the tower in case of an attack. Finally they all headed in to do their normal activities.

 

“Ha I win!” BB yelled at the top of his lungs as Cyborg held his head and yelled cheater. Yet as they fought the t.v. screen changed from the game to the police station.

 

“Teen Titans we need your help,” said the chief of police as Robin entered the room.

 

“What is it?” Robin Asked.

 

“Recently there have been several murders all with... odd circumstances and we need your help.” He replied.

“What are the odd circumstances and how many murders has there been? Raven pondered.

 

“Well after the murder today it makes ten and all the bodies have been found with this on them.” As he lifted up a battered piece of chain mail with blood around a hole in the middle and a sun with an arrow going through it in the center Raven gasped.

 

“Ok we'll be right on it.” Robin said as he was already heading to turn off the t.v.

 

“I'll deal with this one.” Raven said putting the book she was reading down and heading towards her room.

“Wait we don't know what it is we're dealing with so I think we should all go.” Replied Robin.

 

“I do know what we're dealing with so back off!” She said with a bitter tone. As all the titans starred at her she headed to her room and phased through the door.

 

“How long are you going to keep us in the dark about this!” Yelled Robin through her com right before he heard it click off.

 

Fools they don't get it they will all die if a demon is here on earth. Without my human side I would have killed them already. They can never understand. Where is that damn book? I know it's here I've read that book a million times. Why is it all the answers hide themselves when you need them? She continued to wade through a pile of books that were ancient. Paladins of Flame they were called. About time she opened the tome. She paged through the book looking for the symbol at last she found it. Warriors of the light wielders of the sun bolt forever in war against the forces of evil. What were demon slayers doing here there were no demons other then herself and if they could consider her even that. I have no choice but to look into this before the others get themselves killed.

 

Not wanting for the others to know that she had left she phased through the wall to the outside. First she needed to know where the murders took place.

 

*The wrong dark alley*

 

The mugger knew he made a mistake when he saw the knife on the teen “you want my money?” The figure in black asked.

 

“That's right give it or I'll kill you.” The mugger replied.

 

“You kill me? What if I kill you first?” The figure rambled on.

 

“I'll kill you then take your money he.” The mugger said not knowing it was his last words. He charged forward and with out even seeing the motion felt the knife go through his throat.

 

“Proceed to heaven.” He muttered as he walked over the body.

 

“You stop right there;” A voice called out from behind him. “This city may have no room for crime but you killed him I'm gonna have to ask you to come with me.”

 

“I'm afraid I can't do that,” He said turning around to face the voice.

 

“It's ok officer I'll take care of it,” Raven said as she stepped out of the shadows.

 

“Not everyday a Titan shows up consider yourself lucky.” The officer told the Kid in black.

 

“Who are you and why do you want me out of trouble?” The kid in black asked.

 

“I'm a friend and I want to know what brings you here.” Raven replied.

 

“Not good enough to many people are your friend as long as it suits them and will turn you in as soon as it doesn't.”

 

“I'm here because this isn't the first people you've killed and if you went with him you'd be a sitting target in your cell.”

 

“What do you want?” He asked. “No one does something for nothing.

 

“I just want to talk and as I said before I want answers.” Replied Raven.

 

“Not everyday I run into someone my own kind anymore lets get someplace private.” He replied.

 

*Back at titans tower*

 

“She hasn't even come out for tea something is wrong.” Starfire observered.

 

“Yea and BB and Cy have been fighting so loud no way she could been meditating.” Robin said.

 

“Yes maybe we should knock on her door more violently,” Starfire suggested.

 

“Cy get over here and kick it in.” Robin told Cyborg.

 

“ Ok man, but don't go touchin shit if she's not there.” Cyborg said as he gave the door the boot.

 

“What the fuck where is Raven.” Robin said.

 

“Where else would she be she's tryin to find the guy that killed those poor saps.” BB replied.

 

Then when Robins belt began to ring he said “Well about fifteen of the saps have been seen walking towards 15th and 8th. Titans go!”
