BeastBoy's New Job
Chapter 2: The Outfits for the Date
"Hey Raven!" screamed the Boy Wonder as he searched for Raven before they would leave. "Let's go!"
"Ummm, ok," said Raven nearvously. "I, umm, I'll be out in a second!"
"Ok, but try to hurry or we're going to miss the movie I wanted to take you to afterwards... uh, I mean, the food might get cold?" said Robin.
"Ok, already, I'm coming," said Raven as she stepped outside her room. "How do I look?"
Raven was wearing a navy-blue tank-top and black jeans with a silver belt. Her hair was same as it always is, except tonight she was wearing a barette with a skull on it over her left ear. And she was wearing some black high tops. Oh, and she was also wearing some sparkiling purple hoops, and they were at least 2 inches long!
"Wow." was all Robin could say. "You look AMAZING!" Ok, maybe it wasn't the only thing he could say, but don't blame me, I'm not the director of this thing.
"Haminna, haminna, haminna, haminna..." drooled BeastBoy and Cyborg as they turned around from playing their video games. "You look ni..." they started to say.
"Back off," whispered Robin. "She's mine, got it?"
"Ok," they answered, a frightened look on both of their faces.
"Ok, let's go." said Raven as she and Robin stepped outside the Tower. "And, umm, Robin, what's with the suit?"
"Oh, umm, I didn't know that you would be dressed so, uh, umm, much like a normal teenager so I wore this," he finished, pointing to his suit. "I guess I'll go change."
"Ok, but hurry or we'll miss that movie you were talking aboutn eariler." said Raven. "Uh, I mean, or the food will get even colder!"
When Robin came out, Raven expected him to be wearing the usual clothes he wears, but instead when RObin came out he was wearing a black short sleeve with a skull on it (to match Raven's style), some navy-blue jeans, reagular old black sneakers, and a mask (like usaul). The hair was the same.
"Wow." said Raven with hearts in her eyes. "You look GREAT!"
"WHAAAA!!" screamed BeastBoy as he flew into the air. As all big-time Raven fans should know, when Raven shows emotion, something will blow up. "Ooooof! That hurt!"
"Wow, he looks hot tonight!" screamed Terra and Starfire as they fainted in awe. "I wonder who he's going out with?"
"Hey, back off," Raven whispered. "He's with me, got it?"
"Uh, huh." the two said quietly, cowering from Raven in fear.
"Now let's leave this popsicle stand!" said Robin as he took Raven's arm and started walking out the door.
"Where are the popsicles of which you speak?" asked Starfire as she suddenly brightened. "Did you get some for me?"
"It's an expression, Starfire." answered Raven. "Now lets go before the movie's sold out."
"What do you want to see?" asked Robin as they got on his motorcycle. "A horror movie, comedy, sci-fi, romantic..."
"How about we just go see Romeo and Juliet, so we can know what to, well, act out for BB's play." answered Raven.
"Vroom, vroom..." went the motorcycle.
"Uh, Raven, did you just say, BB?" asked Robin in disbelief.
"I did?" said Raven in utter shock. "OMG! SOmething must be wrong with me!"
"Oh well, it can't be that bad can it?" asked Robin. "I mean, all you did was say BB, right? It seems harmless to me!"
"Yeah, it's probably nothing." said Raven as they rode off to the theater. "Oh, and lets get the large, buttered, popcorn, if that's ok with you. I just like buttered a lot better then I like plain."
"No, it's ok with me," said Robin. "I'm mostly a fan of buttered to anyways."
"Thanks," said Raven. "I'm hoping this will be the best date a girl could ever be on!" she finished in her head.
"No problem," said Robin back. "I'm hoping this will be the best date a boy could ever be on!" he finished in his head.
"We're here, now lets go watch Romeo and Juliet!"
