Why won't he notice me Tom?
Maybe he isn't the one that was meant to notice you.
But I love him so!
Do you?

16- year old Virginia Weasley was sitting on the couch in the Gryffindor common room. She had left her old nickname `ginny' behind her, it sounded so childish. And that was the last thing she wanted to be, a child.
She had grown over the years, her fiery hair had grown and fell down to her waist. She had grown curves in al the right places and was considered one of the Gryffindor beauties.
Her crush on Harry had been gone since fourth year. She had dated Seamus Finnigan briefly, but had broken up with him for the simple reason that the guy was too much of a flirt.
Hermione was together with Harry, and her brother was involved (at the moment that was, he seemed to change every week) with Lavender Brown.
Some times she still thought about the incident in The Chamber of Secrets. When Harry had saved her, and she was back in the open air, everyone was telling her how evil Tom was, and the horrible acts he had done. Going on muggle killing sprees, torturing people, and so on.
But Tom was never horrible to her, no, he comforted her, whispered sweat words to her, when she needed them, he had been her best friend. But was he still?
Ron told her, after the chamber, that he was going to kill Voldemort (actually he had said You-Know-Who, but she said his name, always) when he would see him.
She just told him that if he did see Voldemort, he would be dead before he knew what was happening. Ron had `pfft' at that comment and said that Voldemort was evil, before he left to join Harry and Hermione.
Now that she was older, she understood, Tom had never meant to kill her. He wanted to lure Harry in his trap, drain him from his life power, and revive her. Tom had said to Harry she was near death, but she wasn't, she was just unconscious.
Come to think of it, it was always Tom that comforted her when she was sad, never Harry, or Hermione, not even Ron, her own brother. It was always Tom that said he loved her, when Harry wouldn't even notice her.
It was quite a cruel twist in fate that the one that she could trust, was in fact none other, than the feared Dark wizard, Voldemort. How unfair it had been! Her one and only true friend, the most wanted serial-muggle-killer.
Dark. Black. Evil.
Maybe he had a reason to do so. Maybe it wasn't just his lust for power. Everyone needs a motive, that makes them do something, that can seem foolish in the eyes of other people, but extremely wise in the eyes of the one that was doing it.
If she had told this to her brother, he would have said: "Now Ginny, don't be stupid, You-Know-Who is evil, and you know it!"
Did she?
End first chapter.
So what do you think, should I continue?
I always wanted to write a tom/ginny fic. But I wanted it to be a little darker, to let it have an end, that is not predictable.
Well, hope you like it.
