Summary: Enter the knight, his teacher and knight's best friend.
And I've seen the fall of angels, the destruction of the Holy city of Azala…
The people cried in horror watching the massacre that shook the heavens.
The single figure emerged from the mist, with blood falling from his face like tears…
He spread his blood-red wings; the time seemed to stop but then…
The inhuman cry pierced the air and heaven erupted in flames…
The place that once held the city, which ruled the entire system, seized to exist…
And the one who remained alive flew to the sky to never be seen again…
From that day forward he was to be referred as the Bloody August…
The book of the Holy Age Chapter 3.
I've seen flames in my dreams again… That dream always bothered me, as if warning me of the forthcoming disasters. For the six hundred years that pass before me I've never felt such animosity. For the first time I sense such unrest in the time-space continuum. The knights must be summoned once again…
//"I just don't believe it! The teacher must've surely gone completely crazy!"// For the tenth time thought the heir to the Loddar* clan, the fourth-leveled knight of Charl, Lorgin Taal'Cryu*. He couldn't help thinking like that being dragged out of bed half an hour after he'd finally fallen asleep.
"I hope it really is something important and not another one of those "I feel worried, you need to go god knows where, search for something nobody even knows about (me included), and solve the disturbance in space…" Huh, after one of these ones I've barely made it alive and almost lost my wife, best friend and my own brother! I'll be damned if I let Yaniff manipulate me again, I'm still mad with him about the last time."
Half an hour later a really pissed off knight of Charl* found himself standing near his former teacher's house.
//"So time to meet him, so I'd better calm myself a little, It surely wouldn't do to have him scold me like in the old days."//
So taking a deep breath Lorgin knocked at the door and stepped inside. His trained eyes immediately found Yaniff, sitting in the old chair in the middle of the completely dark room.
//"Now this is definitely not good. Shit! And I was really looking forward to spending some quality time at home! Hell, I'm going to be a father in five months! Why, why can't he find someone more fit for the job!.."//
"Because your presence will play an important role in the development of further events, Lorgin. You can't deny the fate that binds you to the rest of the participants."
"Participants? You meant to say pawns I believe." Lorgin narrowed his eyes and glared at Yaniff not the list intimidated by his words.
"I suggest you hold your tong boy, I'm still capable of turning you into an ugly blob with the snap of my finger. You may be a fourth-leveled* mage but you'll need at least six more reincarnations to even attempt to reach my level. Even if I passed my title as the leader of guild, you still shouldn't forget with whom you've studied under…" The old man sighed as if defeated, and looked at his former student.
"You've always were hard Lorgin and I swear that if I had a choice I'd given the job to somebody else, but I just don't trust anyone enough to let them accompany me in this particular journey…"
"You don't mean to tell me that you will actually take part in the matter this time!?" Now Lorgin was really shocked. The last time that Yaniff involved was of the threat of the destruction of the whole time continuum… Yes, the time that they confronted Tred's father…
Soft fingers caressed his flesh. Tred moaned under the assault of those hungry lips and hands. Willing himself to open his lust-heavy lids he gazed in the equally glazed eyes of molten gold. He arched high when those hands found his most exited part and squeezed gently but firmly. He desperately tried to see the whole face above him, but could only identify the eyes, the rest of the face seemed to be hidden in darkness.
"Ah, hm … who are…ugh!!!" His speech was abruptly halted when his dream lover took his leaking member into his mouth. White sparks of pleasure clouded his vision and he screamed his pleasure, erupting into liquid…
Tred awoke suddenly finding himself alone in his room. Pain pierced his chest and he fall back to the sheets, curling into a protective ball, trying to calm the unexplainable longing that filled his entire being yet once again. He felt tears on his cheeks.
"God, what's wrong with me? Why do I feel like I've suddenly lost a part of my soul?"
//No, that's not true… I've always felt this void within, I've gotten used to it. So why do I feel such loss all of a sudden?//
TBC…
Char l*- the Order of knight-mages, working for the Magic Guild. When the time comes one of the Guild members chooses one or several apprentices, usually at a very early age, and begin preparing them both physically and magically to someday enter Charl. When the apprentice reaches a certain level of abilities, magic and experience he is then welcomed to join the Guild itself.
Taal'Cryu*- basically is Login's surname. Taal'Cryu- means son of Cryu.
Loddar*- the name of Lorgin's ancestor which with time became their Clan's name. The Loddar Clan is among the most powerful and respected clans of Lorgin's home planet.
Fourth-leveled mage*- a mage with the power to control four basic elements to a certain extent. The highest level is the tenth, but such power is extremely rare and hadn't been seen in hundreds of years. Even Yaniff, the strongest and most old of all the mages in the guild is only seventh-leveled one.
