They then come across the bridge that passes through the lava pit.And of course like all evil doers do the bridge is out.Aang then does some quick thinking and says "I know how we can get across!I can use my staff and fly us one by one across."Now to make it worse the lava is rising by 25 inches a minute!If the lava reaches 50 inches there will be no way across.With only 2 minutes to spare Aang flys Katara across first.The lava is now up to 45inches.Aang grabs Sakka and starts across the firey lava pit.Aang's feet slips and Sakka falls.Aang quickly takes his tale and catches him.They hover in the spot for 23 seconds.The lava is now up to 48 inches.So now if Aang drops Sakka he's dead.They fly a little more across.Lava now 49inches!Aang is by the exit and they land just in time as the lava reaches 50inches.They go forward to the south gate............
