Chapter 1: When Gineve Met Derek
A Russian girl grinned shyly at an American man, "How much you have?" It was late night or early morning, although the sun hadn't yet risen enough to taint the black sky with its lovely painted colors. The girl was very young, maybe fourteen or fifteen years old, and dressed in a semi-translucent black gown. The man had a clipped attitude, possibly in his early thirties, and was dressed in a drab knit sweater and drawstring pants that didn't quite fit his sharp businessmen's haircut and clean-shaven features.
"I'll give you $20, because you're a virgin. Do you understand? Twenty dollars…" he waved the green bills in front of the girl's face, and she eyed them hungrily.
"Alright. Twenty dollar. You give me now," she snatched them from his grasp and pushed them into her gown, looking around to see if anybody had noticed the transaction.
"I already have us an… uh… room," he smiled, pleasure painted on his face. He'd been waiting for this ever since he'd come over to Russia from the good USA, and this young vixen was one he'd had his eyes set on for quite a while, "You'd better be worth it. That's one less knit sweater I get to buy now."
She appeared to ignore the comment, and followed him down the dirt road for several minutes and up the steps of an old abandoned church. She hesitated, as if finally noticing her surroundings, but was pulled almost violently forward again by the strong hand wrapped around her trembling wrist.
"This place not good. Go to a different place," she whispered fearfully, looking up at the decaying wooden cross atop the church. Her partner didn't appear to have heard the comment, and drug her up to the boarded doors. With one hand he pried off a board, and it snapped easily under his bulky grasp. When there was a hole big enough, he climbed through, pulling her in after him.
"What's your name?" The girl was brought to stand in front of him, back pressed against a detailed stone support column.
"Gineva…" she whimpered in answer.
"Gineva, huh? That's a pretty name. I'm Derek…. And quit shaking. It's annoying." Gineva willed herself to relax, pulling her gaze from the large, crumbling statue of the Virgin Mary. All of a sudden, her legs were swept out from under her and she was pressed harshly into the ground, Derek pinning her underneath his weight. She let out a small scream, and he pressed one giant hand to her mouth.
"Hush… Don't worry, it won't hurt very long." She looked up at him, eyes fearful. "Do you understand?" She shook her head no. He sighed, rolling his eyes, "I didn't think so." He removed his hand to place a rough kiss on her satin lips, then pulled his and her clothes off methodically. She shook violently, body pressed against the cold stone floor. He growled, and brought the back of his hand down hard against the side of her face, "Didn't I tell you to stop shaking?! Just do what I say, and everything will be just fine."
A tear leaked down her face, but he didn't seem to care. He had paid twenty American dollars for this cheap little attraction, and he was going to get his money's worth. He growled again, and set to work on her starved form.
