The Eyes
 
Those eyes always look
So beautiful and shiny
Round and wide
Always shone brightly
 
The eyes
Round and wide
Not a dull shining light
They see in the night
 
Blinking more than once
Narrowing more than twice
Almond shaped
Yellow and wise
 
Watching in the dark
Prowling the corners
Jumping on window sills
Glowing wonders
 
The eyes
Are special to all
Never disappoint them
Or take a diving fall
 
Almond eyes burned
In the deadly drawing sun
Shadows skipping along
Racing and always won
 
Piercing in the darkness
Popping out everywhere
No one can stop them
Not even down there
