The Death Planet
The sight was unbelievable. So horrible. The land was nothing more than dust. The trees and bushes were scorched. Around them laid shattered bones. "Oh my gosh," said Madison. She was so shocked, she put her hand over her mouth to hide it. Something about this place seems very familiar, thought Taiya, I feel like I've been here before.A sadness built up inside her. A tear fell from her eye. She didn't know why. The sky was a blood red. Sheba wimpered as well. "Taiya, what's wrong?" asked Madison. "Nothing's wrong," answered Taiya, but the tears wouldn't stop. Suddenly there was a loud shriek behind them. They turned around. "What is that thing?" asked Madison. It appeared to be a giant bird of some kind. It looked at them. "On the count of three we run," said Taiya. Madison nodded. Sheba growled. The bird raised it's wings and shrieked. The wind from it's wings knocked them down. "Three!" The girls and Sheba got up and ran. Taiya looked back. The bird was just standing there. She stopped. "Hey Taiya, come on!" called Madison. "But it's just standing there," answered Taiya,"Maybe it's stupid, like a dodo bird." The bird's head feathers went up. "Ah, oh. Taiya, I think you made if mad," said Madison. The bird then let out a couple shrieks. What is it doing, thought Taiya. "Taiya look at the sky!" Taiya looked up. THe sky was filled with more enormous birds. The other bird was now in the air, coming after them. "Run again!" yelled Taiya. THe girls and Sheba ran as fast as they ever ran before. The birds kept swooping down, tryiong to catch them with their enormous razor sharp talons. "Oh,no! We're running out of land!" yelled Taiya. They were running to a cliff. "What so we do?!" asked Madison, ducking another from another bird. Taiya looked back. The birds were gaining on them. There was no way they could turn around. There was only one choice. "Madison, grab my hand!" Madison did. "We're going to jump," said Taiya. "What! Are you crazzyyyyyy!!!!!!!!". Sheba jumped after them. Boom. "Ow. Are you okay Madison?" "Yeah. I wish I was in a hot tub right now," she replied. "Well at least we landed on something soft," said Taiya. Madison looked down. "Maybe soft but not safe." "Huh?" said Taiya and looked down. Whatever they were on had feet on the bottom. "Look ahead!" exclaimed Madsion. Infront of them appeared to be an elephant. Well almost an elephant. It had long pink hair, covering its body. On its feet were red claws. It had one black eye on top of another, on one side of it's face, and the same on the other side. Instead of having one tusk on each side, it had two. The worst thing was the long razor sharp teeth sticking out of its mouth. Suddenly the thing they were on moved and they slid off. They had landed on one and it was very angry. Behind it were more. It was a herd of man-eating elephants. Boy, thought Taiya, We had to jump. The elephant came closer and wrapped its trunk around Taiya. "Taiya!" cried Madison. Sheba jumped on the elephant and bit into the trunk. The elephant swung its trunk and slammed Sheba against the rock wall. "Sheba!" cried Taiya. Suddenly one of the elephants roared. The head elephant dropped Taiya. The giant birds were flying overhead. The herd was on the run. The birds swooped down and caught an elephant and carried it off. The head elephant grabbed a bird by its feet and swung it into a sharp, pointed rock. The ground was shaking and the winds, blowing hard. "Sheba!" called Taiya. The wolf opened her eyes but there was a black bruise on her shoulder. "Taiya, over there!" pointed Madison, "There's a cave." Straight ahead was a cave not blocked by any of the huge creatures. "Okay, let's go!" she yelled. She picked up Sheba and dragged her to the cave. Rocks went flying. She kept dodging the rocks. Then a bird landed infront of her. It put its hair up. "You," said Taiya. The bird started attacking her. First it pecked, then it used its talons. "Taiya, watch out!" Rocks were falling down but the bird grabbed her and threw her against the wall. It then picked her up, in its feet, and started to fly off. "Help me!!!" called Taiya. "Taiya!" Then out of nowhere a blaze spread on the ground. The creatures were now scared of the fire and started breaking away from it. Then a fireball was thrown at the bird carrying Taiya. The ball hit the bird and it dropped her. Below her was now the new fire blazing. Suddenly she felt something catch her from underneath. She looked down. She was flying across the flames. She looked up. It was a young man. He had black spikey hair and red eyes. Taiya felt sleepy and closed her eyes............. The little girl looked at the pillards. On the side of one was a woman. She had short black hair and purple eyes. She wore a pink kimoto. "Princess, your mother awaits you," said the woman. The little girl got up. "Don't forget your friend." THe little wolf cub woke up and ran over to the princess. The girl and pup followed the woman along a path. The path had many pillards on the sides. They came to a waterfall next to a giant castle. There were carvings of fire, water, earth, wind, etc. There were lots of white lilies surrounded by wildflowers. They walked into the castle. There were a lot of people in richly dressed clothes on the sides of the long carpet. Infront was a throne. In the throne was a woman. She had long white hair weared down and blue eyes. In her hand was a staff that on the end had a star. She looked at the little girl. "Come here my princess," she said. Then fireballs filled the sky. The pillards were destroyed. People were screaming. The queen ran to the princess. SHe held her close. A pillard was falling on them. "Taiya......wake...up!" Hot and sweaty, Taiya awoke. She blinked twice and saw Madison. "Madison!" she cried, hugging her best friend. "We were worried about you," said a voice. Behind Madison was the same young man who saved her before. "You've been like this for a while," he said. The young man's hair and eyes seemed familiar to Taiya. The young man looked at her the same way. "Have we met? You look very familiar," he said. "I feel same but I don't remember us meeting anywhere," replied Taiya. They stared at each other. Meanwhile Madison was getting annoyed. "So anyways," she said, trying to break up the silence, "We have to go now." She stood up and walked out. Taiya tried to get up but her arm hurt bad. "Ow!" she cried. She looked at it. It was tied up in a bloody bandage. "Oh let me change that for you," he said. He walked over and sat on the bed beside her. "Let me see your arm," he said gently. As he was changing her bandages, she suddnely thought of Sheba. "How's Sheba?" she asked. "Sheba? You mean that Starigan wolf?" he asked. "What's a Starigan wolf?" she asked. "A wolf from Starigus. Though this wolf had been brouhgt up to protect something," he said. "Yeah the star princess," replied Taiya. He stopped and looked at her. "How do you know about the star princess?" "Madison and I are element warriors, looking for her." "So what elements are you?" he asked. Taiya looked down. "I don't know if I can trust you or not...". They were interupted by a knock on the door. The door opened. It wasn't Madison but an elderly man. "Sorry sir but the king would like to see you and the two girls," he said and left. The young man looked back at Taiya. "I'll let you get dress and met you on the way." He got up and started walking out when Taiya said "Wait! I still haven't caught your name." "It's Endios," he said and walked out. Endios, thought Taiya. That name was so familiar but how. She got up and put on her uniform undershirt. "I wonder if Madison liked him and that was why she was like that?" she wondered. She finished and walked outside. There was a strange looking creature standing there. It was half man and half demon. He had short horns and black cat eyes. Next to him was a young girl. It was Madison. They were talking quietly. "Hey Madsion!" called Taiya. The two turned around. The demon creature turned back to Madison and said some more things, than left. Taiya walked up to her. Madison was holding a piece of paper. "What's that?" asked Taiya. Madison put it inher pocket. "Nothing, let's go," she replied. Her voice had some bitterness in it. Taiya followed her. "Wait!" They turned around. It was Endios. At least it looked like him. He was wearing a black long-sleeve silk shirt and pants. Around his neck was a black chair necklace. In the center was a red crystal in the shape of a blazing flame. On his right, middle finger was a red crystal ring. What caught Taiya's attention was the flame mark on his forehead. Endios noticed. "It's the mark of the element of fire," he said and it disappeared. Taiya looked away and blushed. He looked at Madison. She smiled bakc. "Follow me." He started walking off and the girls followed. They entered a big room. There were people there but something was strange. They were pale and they all had green cat eyes. They stopped. In the center, infront of them, was a large coffin. "What do you think is in there?" whispered Madison. "I don't want to know," Taiya repiled. "Let the feast begin!" said an eery voice. The door behind them closed. All the people were now coming closer. "What has gone wrong with you people!" yelled Endios. "They have plegded their alligance with me." The same demon creature that Taiya saw earlier walked out from behind the coffin. "Now comes the death of the element warriors!"
