A Vampire Princess?!
"Endios!" cried Taiya. Tears were rolling down her chin, "Let me go!! I got to help him!!" she yelled. "No, it's too dangerous to just run in there," said Sasha," and besides if you look again, he's fine." "Huh?" The dust started to clear and "Endios!" Endios was laying flat on the ground. He was still breathing but he was cut and bruised. "That's amazing!" gasped Nako, "He survived with less damage then I would have thought." The genecros growled. "How could you have survived my powerful bast!!" There were pieces of little rocks around Endios. "Hey, where did those rocks come from?" asked Taiya. "From the giant boulder that protected him." Everyone looked at the top of the hill. Standing there was a woman that looked exactly like Nako, expect with red eyes. "Miako!" cheered Nako. The woman jumped down in front of Nako. "It's great to see you again," said Miako. "The reunion is going to have to wait," said Sasha. The genecros was about to blast again. Miako ran in front. She saw a small vine underneath the gencros. "Growth.... Enhance!!" she yelled as she held her staff above her head. The genecros released its blast. Miako held her staff to shield herself. Boom! Miako only felt wind blow past her. She opened her eyes and there was Taiya on her knees. She was cut in some places. "Hurry... and... attack," she managed to say. Miako raised her staff above her and thrusted it into the ground. The ground began shaking. The vine grew bigger and bigger, until the genecros and the necros were tangled in it. Endios started to wake up. Sasha and Nako went over and helped him up. "Now fire holder, let loose your flames upon the creatures!" ordered Miako. Endios rubbed his head and looked at her confused. "How are you?" he asked. "No time, just do it!" Miako repeated. Endios looked at Taiya. She nodded. "Fire spirit, release your flames upon these creatures!" A red beam shot from his ring. The firey figure appeared and charged at the creatures. It went past but the creatures were unharmed. However the giant vine caught on fire, and a thick, black smoke burned from it. As soon as it touched the creatures sh\kin they started to burn up. They screamed and vanished. The genecros fell to its knees. It pointed its now bony finger at Endios. "I will get both of you vampires!" and it pointed at Taiya as well, "I will return! Ha, Ha, Ha........." It burned up into ash. A gentle breeze blew it away. Sasha went over to help Taiya up. Endios walked over to Miako. "Thank you for saving me," and he held out his hand. Miako smacked it with her staff. "Ow! What was that for?" asked Endios. "Now this well," said Miako, "I only helped you because you are an element warrior. Nothing more." Nako walked over to Miako. "Sorry. Please forgive my sister's rudeness," said Nako. "She hates vampires. Miako, its time to introduce yourself to the princess." Miako went to Sasha and bowed before her. "I'm the warrior Miako, minon of the element of time," she looked at Sasha, "You see, I'm another one of your minons." Sasha looked at her in shock. "How many minons can you have and what are they?" asked Taiya. "It all depends on the planets moons or asteroids," said Sasha, "We're loke little guards that help the element evolve and grow so to say." "We better get going before more creatures start coming," said Sasha. Taiya tried to get up but she began to faint. Endios caught her. "Are you alright?" he asked. "Yes, I'm just a little tires," she replied. "Typical," said Miako, "All you vampires are the same." Taiya was getting mad. "Hey, what's your problem? I just helped you and you're being rude," she said, "And I'm not a vampire." Miako glared at her. "Do you think I'm stupid?" I know that both of you are vampires," said Miako. "He's a vampire but I'm not," assured Taiya. "Ha! Don't try to fool me. You wreak of vampire blood. And royal blood of that. And you're eyes are not human either." Endios was holding Taiya back now. "I'M NOT A VAMPIRE!!! AND THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WTH MY EYES!! screamed Taiya. "SHUT UP!!" yelled Sasha. Taiya and Miako stopped yelling and Sasha walked inbetween them. "Now that both of you are quiet, maybe we can work something out." "There's nothing to work out because I'm not a vampire!" yelled Taiya. "Yes you are!" "No I'm not!" "QUIET!!" yelled Sasha, "Nako, do you know how to solve this?" Nako scratched her head. "I'm thinking," she said. Them her eyes lit up. "I know! Lets go down to the lake and see if she has a reflection." Taiya and Sasha nodded in agreement. "That won't work," said Miako, "Royal vampires have reflections. They are also immuned to the sun." "You're just making that up," said Taiya. "I am not," assured Miako, "Just ask him," she pointed at Endios. Everyone looked at him. Endios scratched his head. "Well, its true," he said. Sasha and Nako sighed. Taiya and Miako continued to argue. Then there was a loud howl. Taiya and Miako stopped and along with the rest, they looked behind them. Sheba was standing on a huge mound of dirt, howling at the moon. "Ahh! Where did that wolf come from!" screamed Sasha. "That's just Sheba," smiled Taiya, "She's helping us find the other warriors." "Oh, is that all," mumbled Miako. Sheba howled again. "Sheba, enough already," said Taiya. Sheba continued. "Sheba! Stop howling!" yelled Taiya. The wolf sopped. "Thank you," said Taiya. Suddenly a white light beamed down from the moon. It shined upon the mound. Sheba got off and the mound started growing bigger. Everyone stared at the rising mound. It rised until it was as big as an elephant. "What's that?" asked Miako. Everyone just continued to stare. Then in the fornt of the mound, a bunch of dirt caved in and an entrance appeared. Everyone stood in silence. "So...," said Taiya, "Anyone for dinner?" Everyone stared at her. "What?" she asked. Everyoun sighed. "How could you be thinking about food at a time like this?" asked Endios. "But I'm really hungry and I really don't really want to go into a cave that did just magically popped up. It looks creepy," she said. "You're not scared, are you vampire," said Miako. "For the last time I'M NOT A VAMPIRE!!" Taiya yelled. Then she felt somehting tug on her robe. It was Sheba. She was holding Taiya's bag. "What is it?" she asked. Sheba dropped it and sniffed through it. Then she pulled out the crystal ball. "I forgot all about that," she said, taking the ball from Sheba. It started glowing. "Look at the mound!" pointed Nako. Inside was the same glowing light. Sheba walked up to the mound and looked back at Taiya. Taiya gulped and started walking towards the entrance. "Wait!" Endios grabbed her arm, "You can't just go in there. You don't know what's in there." Taiya pulled her arm away. "I do know," she assured," The only time this ball has glowed is when a necklace or Oralena is nearby." She turned back to the entrance and followed Sheba inside. "Hey, wait up!" called Endios and he ran after her. Sasha, Miako, and Nako looked at each other. Sasha sighed. "Let's go and make sure they stay alive," and they ran after them. The group followed Sheba through the tunnel. Upon the walls were the same pictures that were in the cave with the fairy statue. Sure enough as they came to an opening the same huge fairy statue was there. "It's still here," said Taiya. "What's still...," Endios didn't finish. A hugh burst of light came from the statue. The blue eyes lit up and so did the rainbow wings. "It's good to see you again, Taiya." Taiya smiled. Miako stepped in front of Sasha. "Who are you?!" she demanded. "I'm Oralena, the oracle of Starigus." "How do we know that you speak the truth?" asked Miako. The statue looked at her. "Well, warrior Miako of the moon Linos, I know that you and Nako are the minons to princess Sashara of Chronos." Sasha gasped. "How do you know of me?" she asked. "I know of all the warriors as time goes on and my memories came back. But down to business," said Oralena, "The reason I contacted you was to congradulate you, Taiya, on a job well done of finding two more elements. Now we have four elements and only four more to go. Then the princess will be revealed." "What do you mean four?" asked Miako. "There's only three elements here." Taiya snuck in the back. "There should be four," assured Oralena, "There's wind, fire, time, and nature." "Sorry, but there's no nature here," replied Nako. "Why is that Taiya?" asked Oralena. Taiya slowly turned around. "Well you see, um, we had a little fight and this guy got her and took her somewhere." "What?!" screamed Oralena, so loud that the ceiling began to crack," How could you let that happen? I put you in charge. Remeber, you are leader until the princess is found." "What?! You never told me I was leader," said Taiya. "Well I'm glad I didn't. You are certainly not being very responsible or reliable. Maybe I should have left Madison in charged, then we wouldn't be in this mess," Oralena said coldly. Taiya put her hands behind her back. "I thought you were stronger because you are a royal vampire." Everyone but Miako gasped. "I told you so," she said. "Wait, how do you know that I'm a vampire?" asked Taiya. "Because a vampire gives off a light bluish glow when in this place. Sure enough the places on Taiya that had blood were glowing. So was Endios's body. "And you're a vampire princess at that." "So I'm a full blooded vampire princess?" said Taiya confused. "You don't know a lot about yourself, do you?" said Oralena, "How can someone from Earth not know about themselves." "What do you mean?" "You're half human, half vampire. Wait! Why are we even dicussing this," said Oralena, "Now that you are up to date on yourself, we can move on to more omportant matters. Now you must found the other elements and get Madison back before the star of light shines onto Starigus." "What is so important about that?" asked Endios. "When the star of light shines onto the sacred area on Starigus and all the elements are present, then the princess well be revealed," said Oralena. "Well then, lets go," said Miako, walking away. "Wait!" called Oralena, " I'm not finished. I swear, young people these days. Sasha, you have found all your minons. Now you must obtain their powers." "But what will happen to them?" she asked. "We shall be kept here in the little crystals until the time for us to be called upon comes," said Nako. Sasha started to cry. "No, I don't want you to go. You've been like a mother to me." Nako put her hand on Sasha's shoulder. "Now is the time for you to get stronger and maturer. You will be the wisdom of the group, my little one. As the princess of time, you should get strong." "And besides," said Miako, stepping forward, "We won't really be gone. We'll be with you in here," she touched Sasha's chest. Sasha hugged them both. "I'll miss you." Nako and Miako reached into their pouches and each pulled out a ring. Nako's was light green and Miako's was red. "Use these rings to call on your new powers," said Oralena. The cave started to crumble. "Hurry and get out!" ordered Oralena, "My force field won't hold much longer." Taiya, Endios, Sasha, and Sheba began to run. Sasha stopped. "What about you two?" she asked Nako and Miako. Taiya came up to Sasha. "We'll be fine," assured Nako. "And Taiya, you and Endios take care," smiled Miako. Taiya smiled back and she and Sasha joined Endios and Sheba. They raced out and barely made it as the cave almost crashed on them. "Everyone okay?" asked Endios. Taiya and Sasha nodded. "One more thing," said Oralena's voice, "Prince Endios, you must go to Duostara on your own. You must say goodbye. "Goodbye?" said Taiya. She and Endios looked at each other.
