Sun Ce couldn't help but think so.

Because Yu was still glaring at me, I hurried with an answer.

"Yu, I'm really crushed! You thought I was really gonna suggest something like that?!"

//Well actually if I haven't been interested in no one but Zhou Yu, I could have suggested it, but as things were now and before that for a long time I felt well justified to sound outraged.//

"Really all I was going to say was that the girls sure are annoying and clingy… Hm, you're right the idea to save them was rush…"

Yu relaxed and chuckled quietly.

"So now you finally see my point… Very good then. And Ce, I apologize for jumping to conclusions like that, will you forgive me?"

"All is already forgotten, you needn't worry about it."

I released him, stepping back a little for decency, but kept my hand on his shoulder.

"Let's go and drink some my friend, we both could use a little rest from all the troubles!"

Yu answered with a genuine smile.

"Now that is the plan I wouldn't even argue with!"

So together we departed to my tent for a little feast…

FOUR HOURS LATER…

I looked at Yu, he was flushed from the alcohol, the first two buttons of his collar were unbuttoned showing his milky neck and collarbone. His gaze was heated and he looked at me with such compassion and tenderness… My self-control snapped, I just couldn't pretend anymore.

//I've always loved him, always… From the very beginning… I can still remember… Father decided to move our family to Shu, Yu was raised in quite a wealthy family from there. I first met him when I was training in the nearby field. While Yu was examining intently his glass, I gave the dancers the sign to go. After the last of them left, I turned to Yu.

"Yu…" I called.

He looked at me from his glass, then observed the room.

"Ce, where are the dancers, I thought you'd want some company for tonight."

He said a little confused now.

"And the one in yellow was really trying her best to attract your attention, and those twins were looking very appealing also."

He game me one of his patented lecherous grins at that one. I moved to seat near him so that our knees were touching.

"Yes I do want company for tonight, but not only for tonight, for the rest of the nights also and now I intend to have it."

I had Yu in my arms before he even started to process my words. I gently placed him in my lap, his legs on either sides of my thighs, and pulled him into our first kiss.
