“Yes Ala, I know this. The question is, do you have a problem with this?”
I watched her while all this was going on. I wanted to see how she would respond. I expected hate, revulsion, fear or even just confusion. But none of these showed on her face. She seemed surprised but what caused me the most shock was when Angel (Lord Regalith, but I will call him angel) answered her question. She seemed happy even delighted.
“I will treat Gabriel with the greatest of care.”
“I am telling you, I’m fine. I do not need a healer.”
“Do not listen to him, Ala. The reason he is here is because he passed out when I picked him up. And you Gabriel, do not counter my order’s ever again or you will be punished.”
“I never agreed to serve you, Angel,” I pouted.
“You will be quiet and let me check you over. And what were you doing out of the castle my lord.”
“I had to see what the disturbance was. None of my lieutenants could give me a proper answer. Even Dajin, who you know is the best, could only say that they were chasing a boy. That he could find no reason for it. So I went and saw him running from a mob. Just as I reached down and picked him up, he passed out. That was two lines ago.”
He said all of this while Ala poked and prodded me. “Well as far as I can tell, he is very thin, has been put under to much strain and stress and needs to rest up and regain his strength. I want him in bed for at lest one whole day perhaps two. As for food, small frequent snacks in between meals until he has regained some weight. Other than that time is all he will need my lord.”
“Thank you Ala. He will be in my chambers from now on. If you feel the need to check on him. Feel no hesitation about it.”
“I will my lord” se said as she left the room.
“I’m aloud to talk now?”
“You are aloud free speech when we are alone. Since you will be my personal servant, we will often be alone. Your duties will be light once you are well. Now lets get you to my chambers.”
