Deadly Attraction, Chapter 4
The blood was rich as it flowed from the man's neck into Minoru's mouth. He savoured the taste; the thick sweet taste of the human's blood. It was almost overwhelming to his senses and he whimpered as Raven took the man away from him.
"Save some for later," his gentle but commanding voice said, it left no arguments and Minoru let him take the man away. However it didn't stop him from licking his lips to get the last of the blood off.
"I see you enjoyed your treat. Feeling better?" Raven asked with a smirk. Minoru nodded and shivered; he had forgotten that he still didn't have any clothes.
"Raven...I need something to wear, it's getting cold," Minoru said.
"You can wear my clothes for now, they're a little big but they'll have to do till I get you some new ones." Raven went into an armoire and pulled out some black pants and a silk green shirt. "These should be fine." He threw them to Minoru who caught them and quickly got changed.
"Thank you," he pulled the warm blankets over himself and curled up, trying to find a comfortable position despite the chains. He heard Raven sigh and then sort through some items on his desk. He returned to the bed and crawled in next to Minoru and surprisingly unlocked his chains.
"Keep in mind that you'll die if you run away. These chains are no longer necessary though," he spoke gently then curled up to Minoru and fell asleep. Minoru followed soon after.

As Minoru drank from Kuro, the events of his past came back to him. His first taste of human blood was never forgotten or even topped until now. Kuro's blood was exquisite; like he was drinking for the first time. But he had to watch it before he took too much and killed the boy - that would be bad; he still had plans for the boy.
He pulled away when he felt that taking anymore would be dangerous. The boy was weaker than most so he couldn't take as much as he normally would, but it was enough to satisfy him for now.
"You...why did you do that?" Kuro whispered. Minoru shrugged.
"I need to eat sometime. You just happen to taste very lovely," he licked his lips and grinned making Kuro wince and move away.
"Stay away, don't do that anymore," Kuro said but his body was weak and therefore making him sound like a small child which was in no way intimidating. Minoru smirked with amusement and moved closer; Kuro's bounds kept him from moving any farther.
"You really aren't in a position to tell me what to do, as cliché as that may sound, it's true. I'm much older and stronger than you and to top it off you're weak from blood loss. My advice is just to relax so you don't get hurt; I would hate to do something like that to someone as pretty as you," Minoru's smirk remained as he caressed Kuro's cheek softly. "So innocent..." he said, losing himself in the feel of Kuro's skin and the wide, frightened navy blue eyes. Kuro winced at the touch and gently lifted a hand to move Minoru away, angering the vampire in the process.
"Don't do that!" Minoru rose his hand as if to slap him, but mistakenly held back, remembering what Raven had done to him. What worried Minoru was that he may not be able to handle a boy and therefore it would either cause his demise or turn him into Raven.
"I-I'm sorry," Kuro said quietly, bracing himself for the blow. Minoru realized he still had his hand in the air so he decided to drop it.
"Don't do it again," he patted the boy's cheek and unhooked the chains from the wall, gently scooping the boy into his arms.
"What are you doing...?" Kuro asked quietly, afraid of angering him.
"It's cold in here - dangerous for someone that lost a lot of blood. I'm taking you to bed with me," he noticed the boy's eyes widen and corrected him. "Just sleep, nothing more, you aren't ready," the boy calmed somewhat but not as much as Minoru would have hoped. Sighing, he carried Kuro to his room and hooked up the chains to his bed still allowing for comfortable movement while Kuro slept - he had been watching the boy very carefully, everything he did was planned out and allowed him to prepare for the child's arrival.
"Why do you have to keep me chained...?" Kuro asked.
"So you don't escape, I'm not very trusting when it comes to such matters as I have tried once myself to escape," he shrugged. "Besides, I don't think you'd like the punishment so stay here," with that said, Minoru crawled in next to him, pulling the covers over himself and his small shivering slave. Minoru was nocturnal by nature and didn't really need sleep, but he always felt tired rather than energized after he fed. Then there was the bonus of being next to his captive and watching the frail human sleep was somehow entrancing. Minoru soon found himself slipping back into his dreams that he'd been having far too often.

"Please, Raven? I'm hungry!" Minoru pleaded, he was starving and wanted to go outside with Raven to hunt instead of being locked up in the damn tower. Raven rolled his eyes and patted the boy's head.
"Very well, as long as you behave you may come with me," Raven said, smiling softly; something he only showed Minoru.
At the older vampire's consent, Minoru quickly brightened and jumped off the bed to get dressed. After taking what seemed like forever, Raven finally got him some clothes to wear. They weren't fancy but as long as he was covered up, it didn't bother Minoru. He dressed up in his black tunic and loose matching pants and pulled on some socks to keep his feet warm before slipping on some slipper type shoes that had tough soles to keep from tearing but helped while hunting as they didn't make any noise.
"Ready to go?" Raven asked, amused at his slave's enthusiasm. Raven always dressed up no matter what the occasion. On that particular night he was dressed in a black tunic like Minoru but with burgundy embroidering into a delicate pattern; of what Minoru didn't know and doubted Raven himself did, it was exquisite nonetheless. To accompany the divine tunic, he had a long dark robe that went all the way to the floor, a bit of it dragging but not too much and long sleeves. Minoru always assumed the robe was to make him seem bigger than he really was to make others obey him and so he could intimidate them more easily.
Of course, if the material wasn't dark enough already, he always had pale skin, even after he fed which every other vampire found odd as their cheeks always turned a light pink colour to make them look more human; but then again, Raven was the oldest so maybe it no longer happened to him, not that Raven complained since he didn't like mortals anyways unless they were his slaves.
"Yes, sir," Minoru said, once on the hunt, calling Raven by his name would only tell potential enemy vampires who he was if they couldn't see him and it was possible that it could endanger Raven, just like Raven called him "slave" or "pet"; calling him Minoru was worse in his case because he was a new vampire and could be killed more easily than Raven.
"Very well, hurry up," Raven turned and began the descent down the spiraling staircase, his robe billowing behind him followed by the clicking sound of his fancy, black leather boots. Minoru ran after him, staying a few steps behind to be respectful and to stay out of trouble.
It took a fair amount of time for them to get down the tower and most of it Minoru spent watching every one of his steps to make sure he didn't step on Raven's robe and trip him; that would have been very bad indeed.
Once they reached the outside, Raven grabbed Minoru's wrist and pulled him along with him while he ran through the forest; Minoru was no where near fast enough to keep up with Raven otherwise. The older vampire slowed down at some point near the city; they had gone a long distance, one that would take hours for a human to walk or even run, but Raven's speed cut that down to two minutes.
"Can you smell them? It makes it easier to hunt if you can," Raven said, always teaching Minoru the basics and this was definitely a necessary one since it was Minoru's first hunt.
Minoru lifted his head and sniffed the air, there was a small hint of blood and flesh in the air; much like what a human would find at a battlefield with all the dead soldiers.
"I can smell the blood," Minoru said, smirking. Raven looked at him and grinned, patting his head.
"Good boy, you'll get a treat then," the treat of course wouldn't be blood as that was dinner. But what Raven meant was another night of passion, Minoru having become accustomed to his master's desires to the point where it was no longer painful and he often found himself begging for it. In reply to the offering, Minoru smiled and rubbed his head against the hand.
"Calm yourself, we have to eat first," he said, turning around to climb - or rather jump - the large city wall and perch on top of it to look at the humans walking around their safe little town - or so they thought. He motioned for Minoru to join him which he did, taking a little longer than Raven but still going up fairly quickly.
"I'm really hungry, sir," Minoru said, practically drooling at the scent of blood.
"Patience, pet, wait until one comes by so it's less obvious," he said and Minoru waited quietly until an unsuspecting human walked along the bottom of the wall and Raven jumped off, landing gracefully and silently behind him. He grabbed the man, covering his mouth to keep him from screaming and tipped his head to the side, sinking his fangs deeply into the skin, puncturing the mortal's jugular and drinking the warm liquid that escaped.
Minoru waited, not wanting to do something Raven would punish him for and watched him, licking his lips. Raven's gaze went up to look at Minoru and he seemed to smirk as he finished his prey off; not a drop of blood left in him.
"Just like that, pet," Raven said and Minoru nodded in response. "Here comes another one, get ready to jump," Raven said quietly, moving into the shadows. A few seconds later there was another one in almost the same position as the last and Minoru jumped, mimicking his master's moves and drinking the person dry before a single scream from the woman was let loose. Minoru dropped the body to the ground and licked his lips, smiling at his master.
"Well done, now we have to get rid of their bodies," Raven said and so he dragged the male corpse into the shadows and quickly buried him in the loose soil nearby, Minoru once again following in his footsteps.
"Time to go, pet," Raven smirked and jumped back onto the wall, waiting for Minoru. Minoru climbed the wall as fast as possible and let Raven grab his wrist, pulling him off the wall and running at top speed back to the tower. Minoru couldn't even begin to wonder how long it would take for him to get like that; one of the things he didn't know about his sire was how old he was and Raven refused to tell him.
It was late into the night when they reached home, soon Minoru would have to sleep since he wasn't strong enough to stand the light yet, but of course Raven could so he slept when he felt like it.
The walked the long way up the tower stairs, quicker than they had coming down since Raven had scooped Minoru up into his arms and was walking at a faster speed.
They reached the bedroom and Raven set Minoru down before removing his robe and boots.
"You know what you have to do when you're waiting, Minoru," Raven scolded. Minoru jumped, having been entranced with his master's movements and forgetting his role. Quickly, Minoru climbed onto the bed and moved to the headboard, bringing the handcuffs down and attaching them to his wrists and hooking them to the large headboard, stretching his arms out.
"Good, you remembered," Raven grinned and attached Minoru's feet to the end of the bed and crawled over top of him and began removing his clothes.
***
Minoru awoke the next morning in a less than pleased mood. As much as he was angry with Raven for what he had done, he didn't like waking up in the middle of good parts in his dreams. He had a feeling that these dreams lately weren't of his own mind either, something that was really beginning to make him think.
Kuro was still asleep next to him, so Minoru carefully got out of bed and snuck out of his room; this would be his chance to see what no one else had - Kuro's notebook.
***
What Minoru found in Kuro's notebook was something that anybody would find odd or even disturbing. His book showed the reader that he knew more than anyone thought he did.
As Minoru flipped through the first few pages, he noticed that Kuro had written a detailed idea of what he thought people around him were like. He had descriptions of the people he knew and some that he just spent his days observing. He noticed that he was in there as well but most of the questions had gone unanswered; it seemed Kuro didn't notice him as much as Minoru noticed Kuro.
After those pages, there was more written. Kuro had taken all of the people in the front of the book and put them into a story, each doing something that suited who they were and what their personality was. He had eventually developed it into a very realistic plot that even involved Minoru himself. But what he was made him laugh for quite sometime.
Kuro thought he should be a vampire.
Now Minoru knew that he didn't act very much like one so to find out that a human had depicted that as his fate was rather amusing. It seemed it was only because Kuro didn't know anything about him; there were little notes around the pages indicating that.
Minoru quickly shut the book when he heard movement coming from the bedroom, he put the book back and went to see what Kuro was doing.
Minoru smiled when he walked into the room, Kuro had just gotten up and was stretching his limbs and yawning, the small boy looked absolutely delicious when he did that, showing quite a bit of skin too.
"'Morning, Kuro," Minoru said. The young boy jumped then looked at Minoru and nodded.
"I guess," he said, Minoru couldn't blame him for his attitude, after all, he had kidnapped him.
"Come on, we're going out. I need some breakfast and you're too weak for me to use you," Minoru said, holding out his hand.
"Why are you taking me with you?" Kuro asked making no move towards the hand, instead taking one back. Minoru's eyes narrowed and he walked over to him.
"Don't run away from me, that's why I'm taking you with me, you'll run away if I don't," Minoru said, grabbing the small wrist in his hand.
"Please, let go, it hurts," Kuro pleaded. Minoru loosened his grip but didn't let go.
"Move it," he said and walked out of the apartment, grabbing some handcuffs and dragging Kuro with him, attaching their wrists together.
