This is just a little poem i wrote. I wrote it when i was feeling more unhappy than usal, and thinking about my ex boyfriend, who, sadly, i am still in love with.

Deadly Emotions

Humans were created

With the power of emotion,

So that we could be strong,

And live long, happy lives.

Sadly, that was my downfall.

I left my heart

There for the taking,

And, oh yes, it was taken.

But ripped to shreds.

Now I lie here,

On this cold tile floor,

And for some stupid reason,

I feel sorry for him.

He who stole my heart.

I remember,

All those times we laughed,

And as my heart beats its last beats,

I remember that look.

The look that said,

“Who are you?” and,

“Should I care?”

And slowly…

Thump…

Silence.
