Chapter 1
The Beginning
"Good-bye Meido! (Maid) I'll see you tomorrow!" Meido stopped dusting to turn around.
"Bye-bye little Miss." Meido waved bye to the young girl running out of the house.
Running down the street with a pillow, blanket, and a backpack filled with junk food and drinks, Sessei runs as fast as her feet would carry her to her secret spot by the river. "This is the best! Whose parents would ever let their kid, especially their daughter, go spend the night in a tree house in the forest by the river, and all alone?!" She slows to a run. "Of course, my parents, I mean them working all the time and just saying yes whenever I ask something of them, as long as I get out of their way! What a bother." She enters the forest still at a slow run. "Sometimes I wish I could be poor as some of the people at my school, Boronzu Kootagakkoo (Bronze High School). Also have nice parents that actually love their childr- aahh!" Sessei tripped over a tree root and slams into the moist dirt.
She gets up and wipes off most of the dirt on her face, hands, and elbows off. "STUPID TREE ROOT!! Ggrrr!" She growled out.
Sessei had light blonde hair that fell halfway down her back. Her eyes were big, beautiful, light baby blue that no one can resist. She's in tenth grade. She is a big klutz, and she can't keep quiet, but she doesn't socialize at school, she only talks to the maids at home.
As she neared the tree house ladder she climbed it and put her pillow and blanket down, keeping her backpack on she stood back to admire her tree house. It wasn't big; it was actually small with one window that had no glass at all. It had no door either, and it was all wood with no color but brown.
"Okay. I guess I will go to the river now to wash up for tonight." She gave a quick "Eep!" when she tripped over her feet while turning around. After she yelled a few choice words to her feet and shoes, she made her way to the river to clean up.
Once at the river she splashed water on her face then she noticed someone. She looked to a bridge to her far right and saw a girl on her side of the bridge. She noticed that the girl was about to do something horrible. Sessei didn't know how she knew she was going to do something bad, she just did. She started to jump from rock to rock in the river towards the girl and yelled, "Stop! Wait! I want to tal-" She slipped on a rock covered in moss. "Aaahhh!"
