Fan Fiction ❯ Demon Days ❯ Halloween Night ( Chapter 1 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

It was a stormy night in mid-October. Colder than usual. Halloween night to be precise. A night where children offend demon kind by dressing up like them and going around scaring people for candy. A disgrace. Well, this night is different from all other nights. Halloween is a sacred night when the border walls are opened to these two worlds. The night when demons can walk free of discrimination and abuse. This is when most children go missing. This is when the world is most fragile. This is the day of the Demons. They will seek revenge. This is their story.

"Abby! Hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Jenna called up the stairs. Her little sister was changing into her costume. She wore a black cloak that covered her entire 14 year old body and her costume. It was Halloween night. They were gonna go trick-or-treating with a few friends. "Hurry up Abby!" Jenna yelled, more impatient this time. A girl about 13 stood at the top of the stairs. She was wearing a blue skin-tight dress with a overcoat on top so the blue only showed at the bottom of the coat. She unbuttoned the coat to show the whole dress and spun around twice.
"What do you think Jenna?" She smiled triumphantly. The two have always tried to out do the other each Halloween. With this skimpy dress Jenna couldn't win. She lifted her arm to the rail and glided down the stairs in her black ankle boots. The dress came down as far as it could without showing something. "It's great isn't it?" She smiled again.
"Okay, if you think that will win then let's see mine." Jenna threw off the cloak to reveal black leather lingerie. She had knee high black boots on to match. There were gaps in the costume all over. She wore a strapless tube top that ended right below her chest, and then had on a black belt and mini skirt. Abby's jaw dropped when she saw what her sister was wearing.
"Jenna! That's a little much don't you think?" She turned a little red with envy. Her sister would surely get the boys tonight.
"Oh, come on Abby, its not too much," she said. "Now it is." She pulled out a black leather whip and tightened he garter a little. "Let's go before mom sees!" The twosome ran out the front door as their mother walked in.
"Girls!" she said. Sighing, she went back into the living room. Abby and Jenna ran out of the yard and down two houses to George's. They ran up to the door, covering themselves with the cloaks again so his mom wouldn't worry.
The door opened to a woman with brown hair in a bee costume. "Why hello girls! George will be here in a minute. GEORGE!!" She yelled up the stairs. A boy about Abby's age, 13, squeezed out from behind his mother's yellow striped butt. He was in a black pinstripe tux with matching shoes. His hair was the same golden shade as Jenna's. He smiled to his mom and shut the door.
"So where to now ladies?" He laughed and looked around for their friend Drew. The girls smiled and took off their coats when they were behind a tree. They giggled as George saw their outfits. His eyes widened a bit and he smiled while flushing a brilliant red. He smiled and rolled his eyes as they walked across the street to Drew's house. They put on their coats and got to the door. When they raised their hand to ring the bell, the door swung open. A boy about Jenna's age, 14, stood their in a tuxedo exactly like George's. "What do you think girls?" George said as he pointed out their outfits.
"It's cool," Jenna said with a little blush. Her mascara smudged as she rubbed her eyes. "Let's go!" She hooked Drew's arm ad began to walk away with him. "Are you two loveys coming?" she giggled and led him farther down the sidewalk. George blushed and Abby took his hand and they followed her down the street.
"So which house first, I'm starvin[Author ID1: at Fri Oct 14 10:09:00 2005 ]starving." Drew said as he rubbed his stomach.
Jenna smiled. "We're not going trick-or-treating guys, we're going to a rave." Abby gasped and Drew looked puzzled. He looked at George who just smiled and nodded.
"When did we decide this!?!" Abby yelled. She was clearly not ready..[Author ID1: at Fri Oct 14 10:09:00 2005 ]
