Destiny Blade

Final Part: Confronting Taloko

Chapter 1: "This is my destiny"

"Once again, Zinx is the one to triumph over me! A normal ling is about to outmatch a Shadow Lord! The Book of Hellfire has nearly recovered and at the same time, Zinx is about to wield the one thing that can end my reign!" Taloko roars with anger.

"Yeah, what ever happened to the "All Might Lord of Shadows"? I think he himself is hiding in the one thing he rules." Drel says with a smug while mocking Taloko in his cage.

"Silence!" Taloko screams as he turns and kills the Bat Demon. "In only 1 hour, the Book of Hellfire will, once again, be the most dangerous artifact in Tyli! And my next desire will be the end of Zinx…"

Zinx and his three allies are found running from a herd of angry Rockels.

"You just had to show them the Elemont of Peaks." Zinx says to Vaki.

"How am I suppose to know that Ralo took it from Taloko!?" Vaki argues.

"You're dumber than you look." Ralo growls as he dodges a spear.

Then the four stop running when they nearly fall off a death drop. The Rockels roar and yell and Vaki wraps a rope around an arrow and fires. The arrow strikes a tree as the four swing over and Kita nearly falls, but Zinx grabs her hands on time to save her. Then, nearly getting hit by a spear, the four walk away, relieved that Rockels are stupid.

Zinx, Kita, Ralo, and Vaki then see a temple towering proudly just 2 miles away, the Temple of Destiny. The four continue to walk towards the temple as Taloko plots.

"They are so close to the temple that I feel sick! They must be stopped! The Book of Hellfire's power will decrease greatly again if I use it. Looks like I need to cook up something. Goor yo seenia aputo mah gah!" Taloko shouts out a spell of his own and soon, the sky turns completely black and tornadoes and lightning strike the land.

Blazera runs from 5 tornadoes that start in their volcanoes. Freezoa has the most deadly blizzard. Aquo is being attacked by tidal waves and whirl pools. Finally, Breezle is being punctured with lightning. Where Zinx is, there is a massive earthquake that stops to destroy the land around the four heroes. The ground cracks open and lava spews from the cracks. The mountains fall at random as gust of winds become deathly powerful.

"We need to get to the Temple!" Vaki cries through the howling of the wind and the roar of collapsing mountains.

The four sprint to the temple as lava burns its way towards them. The peaks above them fall and Ralo has to jump to avoid being crushed and follows his friends. Then, a massive tornado starts sucking up everything and starting near Zinx and his team. When they reach the temple, Zinx quickly takes out the Elemonts and puts them in their places. The Elemont of Spark in the hole with the picture of a flame above it, the Elemont of Frost in the hole with the picture of a icy mountain, the Elemont of Sea with a water drop above it, the Elemont of Gust with a tornado above it, and the Elemont of Peaks with a mountain above it. The door opens as the four jump in, in time to avoid the tornado which can hardly left up the temple.

Zinx looks up at a statue of Lin who has his arms stretched out and holds something in front of him. Zinx walks up to it as Ralo, Kita, and Vaki turn to see what happening. Zinx looks in his hands and there is the glowing blade of the Destiny Blade! Zinx looks down at it and remember what the voice in his dreams told him `You are the one who must wield the blade of the heavens and destroy the Book of Hellfire…like your great grandfather did 500 years ago.'

Zinx reaches down and picks up the blade, in a gust of wind and a shine of light, the sword has chosen Zinx to be its new wielder. Zinx holds it up in the air and it shines with holy light.

"This is my destiny." Zinx says as he takes the sword's sheath from his great grandfather's hands but before he leave, he turns back at the statue "I won't let you down."
