Chapter 2: Love Can Never Be Broken

Zinx coughs out some sea water as he breathes in more air. He stands up with difficulty. Zinx looks at Vaki, Ralo, and then, Kita and puts his hand out, which is folded around something, then he opens it and there's the Elemont of Sea. The three cheer as they congratulate Zinx but Drel has other plans. Drel hasn't recovered his axe but he has his speed and strength.

"I'll attack Zinx while he's weak; he lost his sword in the city. This is perfect!" Drel says as he charges in full speed towards Zinx.

Kita quickly sees Drel and stands in front of Zinx. She has her amulet and blasts Drel backward into a tree.

"Kita, you stay with Zinx, me and Ralo will take care of Drel! Charge!" Vaki cries as he takes out a small dagger and attack Drel.

Kita lies Zinx on the ground and puts his head on her lap.

"Kita…what is the real reason why you came with us?" Zinx asks, looking up at Kita.

"To...to…to be with you…" Kita tells him in a soft voice. "I may be the princess of Freezoa and I know it is law that a princess will marry a prince but I didn't want that, I wanted someone that I knew would love and…Zinx…you're that someone."

"Kita…I" Zinx is about to say but Kita silences him.

"When you defeat Taloko, you'll have to leave. I know I won't be allowed in Quilo due to my appearance, but I want to be with you…forever." Kita tells Zinx as she starts to cry from the thought of leaving Zinx.

"Quilians aren't like that, we let outsiders come and go anytime. Some even stop to live in Quilo. You can live in Quilo, but you'll have to leave Freezoa behind." Zinx tells Kita.

"If I return to Freezoa, I'll be sentenced to death. I don't want a castle or expensive things, all I want….is you, Zinx." Kita explains to Zinx.

"Hey love birds!" Vaki shouts back at them. "Drel got away but he gave us this."

"Um Zinx, can we keep this little conversation a secret?" Kita asks.

"You bet." Zinx tells her.

Vaki and Ralo sits next to Zinx and Kita as Vaki gives Zinx the small bag that Drel left behind. When Zinx opens it, he's amazed to see the Elemonts of Spark, Frost, and Peaks.

"Looks like Drel isn't completely evil after all." Zinx says with a smile. "Let's get going."

Zinx is helped up by Kita and Vaki.

"On to Breezle." Ralo says as they walk down the road.
