Chapter 2: Choosing

After I was sucked into the portal, I was drifting somehow in darkness, like I was floating, but I didn't know how it felt. No matter where I looked, I saw nothing but dark, not even a dot of light.

"Where am I?" I thought.

~You are in the Time Abyss...~

Who the!?

"Who said that!? Who are you!? Why can't I see you!?" I said.

~So many questions left unasked... I am the one who opened the portal to transfer you here..Dragona.~

The man in Robes? I kept thinking he was an enemy, but why would he bring me here!?

"Hold on here! How do you know me, and why am I here?"

~You are the chosen one, the one who is the reincarnation of the Legendary Keyblade warrior.~

...Wait, did he say Keyblade Warrior? Let me rephrase that.... .. .. Wait a second! Does he mean.. Kingdom Hearts? HOLD ON HERE!!!

"Wait a second! You mean Sora?"

~The very same, after saving all the worlds from the Heartless, a new grave threat has been formed, The Shadowless, beings that hunger on peoples Souls, not their hearts. Your village was destroyed by the Shadowless, so we took you from there.~

"But why? I could've just gotten transferred to my Grandparents."

~The Shadowless already killed them...~

"WHAT!?!" I yelled in agony. My grandparents.. Killed? First my parents, and now my parents parents? How cruel are these Shadowless beings? I pounded the ground, although I couldn't pound anything, and ended up somersaulting.

I stopped after retaining my balance, and talked.

"How cruel are these?" I said.

~Very cruel, They would do anything to take upon people's souls, even if it means suicide. You see, Shadowless need souls in order to survive, if they don't feed on souls, they don't live. There are also special Shadowless that can live without Souls, but only a certain kind.~

So that means they have a weak point.. If they killed my family, they WILL regret it!

"I want my revenge on them!!!"

~No need to be so hasty.. And, most importantly, never plan revenge.~

"..What? Why not! They killed them!"

~I understand your pain, but if you plan for revenge too much, you'll drift to the Shadow side.~

Wait, the Shadow side? What did he mean?

"What do you mean the Shadow Side?"

~There are 2 sides: The Holy Side, and the Shadow Side, only the most worthy ones are Holy, and the most dreadful ones are Shadow. Each have their unique powers, But Shadow is mostly related on power.~

"What does the other one have?" I asked.

~......~

"Hey! What does it mean!?"

~You will know in time.. For now, We must prepare you for what lies ahead...~

Then, I see a blink of light over to my right, He told me to go toward it, and so I did. When I got to the light, I was dropping like a rock! But then, I hit something hard. I rubbed my butt in agony.

"Ow! Where the hell am I?"

~Watch your temper... Now, We need to know your specialties in combat.~

Specialties in combat?

"What for?"

~Because in many places, you'll encounter battle, and you must choose 2 abilities to help you, and give up 1. Are you ready?~

...I'll have to go through with it, what little choice do I have?

"..Yes, I'm ready, show me the choices."

~Very Well...~

Then, 4 pentagrams came to the ground, from what it looked like, A sword was on the 1st one, Twin daggers were on the second one, Bow 'n Arrows were on the third, and a Magic wand was on the 4th.

~Choose your abilities, and you will be bestowed on what you've chosen... The Sword is made for strength, the Twin daggers are made for speed, Bow 'n Arrows are for stealth, and the wand is for Magic. Now choose wisely, think it over if you must...~

I looked at the 4 choices in front of me.. Strength, Speed, Stealth, and Magic. I looked at the 4 choices and thought..

"Hmm.. Strength is very important, so I'll take that."

~Very well.~

Then, a red Aura surrounded me, giving me power I didn't imagine, I felt like I was stronger somehow.

~What is your second choice?~

I looked at the remaining 3, I need to choose carefully. But what to choose next? ...Hmmm, Magic is important, but not exactly, you need speed as well, as well as stealth, but I can only choose 1, and give up 1.. Argh, what to choose! I felt like pulling my hair out, until -He- spoke.

~Choose carefully, we do not have much time.~

I decided carefully and chose Magic.

"I'll have Magic."

~Very Well~

An aura like the other appeared around me, but this time, it wasn't red, it was blue! Somehow, I gained a little bit of intelligence, and 2 words popped up in my mind: Fire, and Cure, which is probably 2 spells I learned.

~Now.. Choose the one you want to give up.~

I looked at my 2 remaining choices left, I decided to pick speed.

"I choose speed."

~Are you positive?~

"Yes I--"

Just then, the place rocked like it was an earthquake or something.

~They are here! Quickly, you must leave now! I will reduce your spped.~

A yellow aura went around me, draining a little bit of speed.

"Hold on here! Whos here?"

~The Shadowless have found us, now you must leave!~

Just then, a portal mysteriously opened, and he is begging me to go in it. It seems like waiting wasn't a good idea, since I saw a crack over my head, like something was going to burst! "Where am I heading!?" ~You will see in time.~

I was sucked into the portal again, where I was going somewhere different, and that somewhere I had no idea about. When the portal was about to make its end, I saw a shine of light on the way, it looked like I was reaching something, but I didn't know, then suddenly, I blacked out. Not knowing what lied ahead of me, I had to find out on my own.
