Chapter 7: Shadowless

After Starfire left me 30 minutes earlier, I kept thinking when my sickness was going to disappear anytime soon, but rushing things would just get worse. But I couldn't help it! I haven't gotten up from this bed since yesterday...

Few minutes later, Robin came in from the doorway.

"Hey Dragona, are you feeling any better?" Robin said.

"Yeah, now that I think about it, I do feel a little better, but still a bit ill." I said with a concerned look.

"Thats a shame. But you should feel better tomorrow."

"I heard that, but how long does this drug usually take?"

Robin thought for a moment.

"Originally, it takes up to 2 months for it to be cured."

I just looked at Robin, Surprised. 2 months!? ...I think I'm gonna faint.

"2 months!? But how come it only takes me 2 days?"

"Because 1. Raven cured you of most of the drug. And 2. You somehow cured some of it yourself."

Hmm.. It might have been the keyblade that did such a thing, it HAS been passed down from Sora after all...

Just then, I saw blinking flash of light, and heard an alarm go off.

"Yikes! What's that!?" I panicked.

"Its the Titan Alert, sorry, but I need to get going, Me and my friends got criminals to bash. Here, take this Live Video."

He hands me some sort of portable video player.

"What am I suppose to do with this?"

"Watch us in action, so you can see how good we are. Cyborg thought you could see some action, so he invented an invisible camera on each of us, so you can see the fight we're about to take."

"Thanks, I could use some entertainment I guess..."

And with those last words, we both nodded, and Robin headed out on his mission. I hope they'd be alright. But they're superheroes! I don't think they'll come to any serious harm. I turned on the portable video to see what was going on. And then, I saw 5 screens, facing 1 screen, looking at a man in an orange/black mask. The 5 screens must be the Teen titans own visual views. Hmm.. 5 screens at once.. I guess this Cyborg really loves technology. I put my ear through the voice box and heard what was going on:

"Hello Titans, and Robin."

"Slade. What are you up to this time!?" Robin Yelled.

"Patience Robin.. You will know soon in time... I have an enemy soldier coming to your pitiful tower right now, planning to destroy you. And this time.. You won't stand a -Shadow- of a chance..."

And then, there was suddenly a loud crash, all 5 titans looked at it, and it seemed like someone knocked the door down. It must've been the enemy!

"Knock Knock.. Hm hm hm.." Then the video screen shut off.

From where the titans are looking, the enemy looked like a giant soldier with darkness all over him, with 2 pauldrons and 2 yellow eyes. His whole body was made of darkness... Wait, darkness? Could it be... A Shadowless soldier!? If they could destroy my neighborhood, think of how much damage they can do to the Titans!

"Titans, Go!"

They were battling the monster. A big black guy in some cybernetic armor used some sort of plasma cannon against the soldier, The blue blast went right through the monster, causing no damage. "What the!? My Plasma cannon has no effect!"

"I shall try then! YAHH!!" Then, Starfire used some sort of green energy bolts coming from her hands, she used 10 of them against the soldier. There was smoke around him after the blasts took place, but the creature was still unharmed.

"Azarath Metreon Zinthos!" Then, a goth figure, wearing a blue cloak with a tight black vest, attacked the monster with some sort of dark power, but instead of having no effect, it made the monster grow instead!

"Raven, stop! You're feeding your energy to him!" Robin yelled.

Raven withdrawed her magic. And it was Robin's and some green guy's turn.

"Beastboy, its time for a double attack!"

"You got it dude!"

The green guy named Beastboy shapeshifted into what looked like a T-Rex, while Robin took out some Metal staff. Both of them charged right at the beast, but something happened: Beastboy's charge attack went right through him, and Robin's staff attack just sucked the staff in!

"What is this thing!? None of our attacks are having any effect!"

Then, The Shadowless soldier used its arm, to form some sort of darkness cannon! It shot Shadow beams right at the teen titans. They tried to dodge, but they somehow wearn't quick enough. They ended up taking the shockwave of the blast, but to no avail, none of them survived the blast, and all of them instantly blacked out.

I turned off the video portable and tried to get up from the bed to help them, but the drug was still in effect, and I ended up getting weak. But I had to help them! This is my new home! I couldn't just leave them almost dead! But just then, something came into my mind, like someone was telling me something... ~Use this power Dragona.. Save your friends....~ It was Manoza! He was speaking through my mind! He suddenly told me something in faint..... He told me the word -Heal-. ~Use this to cure yourself from the effect, now go.~ I agreed with him

"HEAL!" I put my hand in the air, and came out green beams from my hand, transferring right into my body, I felt lighter somehow, and when I got up, I didn't feel any pain anymore. The drug was gone! I'm cured! But nows not the time to celebrate, I have to help them! I took my keyblade and snuck into the main room, where I heard something..

"THE TEEN TITANS ARE DEFEATED SIR SLADE, REPORTING BACK TO BASE." Shadowless Soldier just replied through a communicator.

"Excellent, be sure to eliminate them to see if they have survived.." Slade said.

"Guess again! YAHHH!!!" I battle cried.

The Shadowless looked to his right, where he saw me, I jumped into the air and smacked him hard with my keyblade, and he actually took pain!

"ARRGHH!! W-WHAT IS THIS?!"

"I'm your worst nightmare, that's what I am.."

He then shot the same shadow beam right at me, but I was prepared this time.

"PROTECT!" A white aura seemed to cover me, after I casted it.

After I casted it, I was surrounded by darkness. But it quickly dispelled, due to the aura around me..

"Die you beast, for hurting my friends! DOUBLE FIRE!"

I dropped my keyblade, while both my hands were glowing with a faint red aura, I opened my hands straight at him, causing 2 fireballs to leave my hand, It made impact with the beast, blasting him from out of the tower, and into the ocean. I looked out from where he left, and I saw that he seem to be dissipated from thin air. I guess my 2 fire spells defeated him. When I looked back, the Teen Titans were starting to regain consciousness, but were weak to get up. I ran over to Robin, to see how he was doing.

"Hey, are you alright!? You took a pretty bad blast there."

Then, Robin spoke finally.

"Y-yeah, i'm okay, in a way. Argh, my chest, it feels like I have heartburn." He said weakally..

"Hold on, give me a second.. CURE!" I yelled.

Then, I placed my hand onto the middle of his chest, where a blue aura was from my hand. It putted a blue aura around robin for a few seconds, and quickly disappeared. Robin seemed to be fine now.

"Whoa.. Thanks, was that more magic?"

"Yeah, it was, I'll cure the rest of everyone. CURE!"

I put my hand in the air, but for some reason, the blue aura wasn't working anymore, nothing happened.

"Huh? How come I can't use my magic anymore...Ah!?" Then I suddenly remember how it worked... I see now, I must've used up all my mana I guess, In RPG terms, you have limitted magic.. *sigh*...

"How come you can't cure them?"

"I used all my magic up, I can't use it unless I get a day's rest I guess."

Then Robin panicked.

"We've got to get the others to the Med-Lab! Dragona, can you help me?" Robin said.

"Yeah, sure."

Robin carried Starfire, while I carried a goth-looking girl. She looked cute in a way, and she smelled kinda nice, after I picked her up and started heading to the Med-Lab, she somehow woke up..

"Uhhhnn.. Where am I?"

"Hey, its alright, I'm taking you to the Med-Lab."

Then, she suddenly slipped out of my hands, and went back on the ground, on her feet!

"What the!? How did you.."

"I don't need anyone's help."

"Then how were you suppose to attack that creature you just fought?"

Then, she just remembered the whole thing, due to a certain look I saw on her face.

"You.. took care of that thing by yourself?" She said in a dry voice.

"Well yeah, I did, thanks to this weapon of mine."

She was just silent, until she said.

"I'm half demon, I can regenerate myself."

"Umm... okay, thats easy to understand, but whats your name?"

"Raven."

Then, that just rung a bell, isn't she the one who got rid of half the drug effect? I need to thank her.

"Ah! I remember you, you cured part of the knockout drug that was on me, thanks alot."

"What happens, happens, and what I do, is really none of your business."

Then, she just carried some sort of Half man, Half machine with her to the med-lab with her powers...

"Ok, rude much.."

I decided to carry the green-looking one to the medlab. Hmm.. That was the first time I met a Shadowless creature, and it was a little tough, but I beaten it somehow, thanks to the keyblade and my magic. And now that I think about it, That Raven girl looked cute, and her dark powers were pretty impressive. But I guess she didn't know how good I was since she was unconscious. And ended up ignoring me.. I got to the med-lab, and put the green one on the bed. I have a feeling I got off to a bad or good start..


.. .. ...

In slade's lair..

He ended up slamming the table in anger!

"Damn it, how could they defeat a Shadow soldier! You said they were invincible!"

"I did, but only vulnerable to one weapon: The Keyblade, and the Keyblade's magic. It seems like the Titans have found the boy."

"I want a stronger soldier, right now!"

"Slade, trust can be easily broken.. You are still new to our organization, and you recommend more soldiers.. You must be patient."

"Just do it! Send one that will actually kill them!"

The holagram went off..

"....That boy is stronger than I expected.. This could prove a threat to my plans..."
