Chapter 13: Date 1

I fell asleep with my new pet. I named her Kika, since it was a girl kitten, with a very cute meow. I went to the store the other day to buy some cat food for my cat. But of course, I had to ride with BB in order to get it. I told him it was for the fish to eat. But BB wasn't stupid, and asked me several times what it was for. And I finally confessed to him that I found a kitten, abandoned. It was between me and BB, we promised not to tell the others about the kitten...
While I was sleeping, I dreamt of something, some sort of vision. I dreamt of Raven in my mind, alone with her. Everywhere around us was white, nothing but white. Just then, I asked her where we were, and she told me we were in the White Abyss, where no one would find us. I walked up to her and asked why we were here. And she told me that it was the right time to ask her out.. After hearing that, I desperately woke up from my dream, sweating with non-belief.
"Whoa.. What was that I dreamt? Me and Raven?" I guessed right. Somehow, I dreamt of her confessing that we should go out sometime. I couldn't tell if that was a vision, or just a dream. But Raven is no normal girl, shes a girl from another planet born with dark powers, anything could happen. I looked at my alarm clock, and it read 1 am. Damn, no wonder it was so dark in my room. I turned on my light and looked around my room. Nothing was there, except my kitten on my chest, purring lightly, happy that it could stay in a good night's rest.
"Whew.. Ok, nothing to worry about. Just.. go back to sleep." I went back to sleep after some relief from my mind. But it did give me 1 idea: What would happen if I asked her out? .. .. .. ... .. .
The next morning, I ended up getting up at 6 am this morning. Man, why did I get up so early? Maybe its because my body felt energetic or something, but I didn't know, I just felt like I was ready for anything. When I got up, Kika got up as well, she jumped off the bed and purred and rubbed against my leg. I picked her up and pet her head with my hand. She purred even louder when I did that. When I put her down, she went to her feeding bowl, and started eating. And now that I saw that, I felt kind of hungry as well.. Hmm, maybe I should go down to the kitchen and fix a quick breakfast? Yeah, I should do that. I got out of my pajamas and got dressed in my fighting clothes (Like all the others of course..). But then, I just remembered about the book Raven gave me the other day.. Yeah, I'll take it with me to read with after I finish breakfast. I took the History of Azarath book down, and I left the room, book in hand. It took me 2 minutes to get downstairs, but there was a slight problem though: When I entered the kitchen, I saw Raven, meditating at the viewing point. I was wondering why she was there. Early Meditation perhaps? I understand how dedicated she is with controlling her powers, but sometimes this is overdoing it! I put the book on the couch, and walked up to Raven.
"Azarath Metreon Zinthos... Azarath Metreon Zin-- Hm?"
Raven opened one eye, and turned around. She was a little surprised to see me, due to what her face just looked like.
"Uh.. Good Morning Raven, nice day, isn't it?" I said. But she didn't seem to reply at all, because she went back to meditating. Hmm, I wonder why, I replied again.
"Do you want me to leave you alone? Because if you want me to, I'll--"
Then she stopped meditating.
"No, don't go. I was just about to finish meditating."
She stopped meditating, and put her feet on the ground. And she turned around towards me.
"Why are you up so early in the morning?" She said in her dry voice.
"I should be asking you the same thing, but I woke up from a dream actually, and my body felt strangely energetic." I said honestly.
"Hmm.. I woke up from a nightmare.. An awful one." She said.
Huh, we're having a conversation, well thats the 2nd time this has happened. Just then, I remembered the dream I had.... -You can ask me out anytime-.... I was still puzzled about it.
"Thinking about the dream you had?" She said.
"Uh, y-yeah, it was an odd one."
"What was it about?"
Should I tell her? Or should I not? She'd probably think I'm crazy if I told her.
"Umm.. well.. I can't really remember all of it actually, eh heh heh.. Sorry."
She just looked at me in disbelief, but she said:
"Well.. I er.." Raven began, but she started to blush, trying to control her emotions.
"I dreamt about you." She confessed.
..About me? ...Oh yeah, now that I remember, Raven liked me, at least thats what I thought. So she must've had a dream about me because of that. At least, in my theory.
"Uhmm.. Okay.." I said bashfully.
"Why did you come down here?"
"I was going to come down to eat some breakfast, and read a book."
Then, her eyebrows went up.
"Which book?"
"The book you gave me the other day: History of Azarath."
Now she was even more surprised. Why's she so surprised about me reading a book? I didn't get it.
"How did you learn the ancient text on the book?"
...Ancient text? Everything I saw on the book was plain english, I didn't know what she meant.
"Ancient text? But I saw it in english, thats how I was able to understand your books." I said.
Raven fell silent, and began to think, and after a minute of thinking she said:
"You must have the ability to read text in english." Raven finally said.
An ability to read ancient text? Hows that possible?
"Here, I brought another book down with me, see if you can decipher it."
She gave me a very old book it seemed like, the book was in leather, which I understood why it was so old. On the front said--
"How to control Azaranean magic."
Now, she looked like she was going to crack. I'm telling you, I'm reading it all in english! Seriously! When Raven finally snapped back to reality, she said:
"I was right, you have a magic ability to decipher ancient text, even the very old ones, now I know why I liked you."
She just said it flat out, blushing. Hey, maybe this is the right moment to maybe ask her out probably? It was worth a shot.
"Hey.. Raven."
"What?"
"Do you.. Like to go out with me sometime?"
Now, her face was flat out red, even blushing at the same time. She was controlling her emotions, and trying to calm down.. .. I didn't know it was that difficult for her to do that. But what would a girl do if someone told you that? After trying to control herself, she replied.
"I would like too, Dragona."
Raven then just suddenly hugged me. Now I was the one blushing. We only hugged for 2 seconds, give or take. And she letted go. She ran back up the stairs, probably to her room. And all I did was sit on the couch and read The History of Azarath. It told me alot of things about her world, on how dark magic was found, created, and used. That girl was amazing I tell you... ... .. ..
..Now that I think about it, How would the Titans feel about this?
