Chapter 15: Date Final

While I was actually skipping like an idiot, the sun began to set. It seems like it was going to set dark soon. Thats almost time for my date, which I hoped Raven would remember by now. After I began to think in my mind, I finally stopped skipping when I was like halfway to the tower, I didn't want to look more of a moron. I looked at my watch again to see how much I've gone.
"4 pm, god damn it.."
I was getting late for every second and every minute, I gotta get there soon somehow! But I had no choice, I had to keep walking. As I saw the sun go down every hour, I was losing time, But.. When I was running to get to the tower, I saw something behind a tree, some sort of human figure. He seemed to look like some sort of black clothed guy, with a red bandana around his head. Then suddenly, I saw something emerge from the ground, black holes of some sort. And what appeared from the holes just shocked me. Because from what I saw from the holes, they were Shadowless creatures. Some of them seemed to look like knights, while the others looked like underlings. I have GOT to call the titans!
"Titans, Repor--Daagh!"
A shadowless soldier attacked me while I was offguard. I guess this was no time to be calling for help! I can't fight these guys alone! I need a diversion, something to get their attention.. .. C'mon, think!!! ..I GOT IT!
"Ready to feel some heat? FIRA!"
A blast of molting fire shot from my hand, like some sort of fire beam, Some of the Shadowless underlings got hit, while only the Shadowless knights took only a little bit of damage, THERE was my chance! I ran for my fricken life, running and getting the communicator out at the same time.
"Titans, I'm in trouble here!!" I called The Teen Titans. And when I called them, they flipped up the monitor. The Titans came on screen.
"Dragona, whats wrong!? Whats going on!?" Robin said, in a state of panic due to mine.
"The Shadowless are back! They're in the park right now! I need some back-up over here!! And an unknown guest is here as well, Hurry befo-- Oh shit!" I couldn't finish my sentence because one of the shadowless jumped on me. I guess this is NO TIME to be running.
"GET HERE QUICK!" I said my last message, and closed the communicator. A shadowless was strangling my body, keeping me from getting free. But there was another way to get this underling off me. I managed to get one hand free, and put my palm in the air, and called out to the sky.
"THUNDER!"
Then, 10 lightning bolts came from the sky, dissipating anything that was within range, and it shocked the living hell out of the shadowless goon that was on me. I got up quickly by rolling and getting up. I unsheathed my keyblade, the very one they feared. But one of the Shadowless knights came charging at me, Shadow sword and all. I quickly deflected the attack by slashing my blade against his, and countered attack with a spin attack, which allowed me to harm it. "FIRE!" I finished it off with a quick fireball attack. And then there were the others, 5 more of em. Damn! I can't keep this up forever! If the Teen Titans don't get here soon, Things will get out of hand! Just then, I heard a car screeching, and a motorcycle stopping in a hurry. I looked back, and it was the T-Car, and Robin's motorcycle. I'm saved! But looking back at the shadowless, I casted "BLIZZARD!" against all the Shadowless, putting up a diversion again. A small ice wall formed, giving me time to escape. Cyborg was waiting for me to escape. But in no time at all, The Shadowless started busting down the wall! I ran to my escape to the T-Car. I opened the door and hopped in.
"Quick! Floor it!" Cyborg pushed on the gas, putting the T-Car in high escape. We then got miles away from the Shadowless 3 minutes from now, I guess I was safe for awhile. But why me? I didn't really get it, but they must be after either me, or the keyblade, I didn't know what they were aiming for. After getting back to the tower, they started asking me questions.
"You alright man?" Cyborg asked.
"Yeah, I think so."
"Why were you out so late!?" Robin asked.
"I er, had to look for a few things, and I wanted to look around a bit longer."
"-7 hours- isn't looking, more like finding something." Robin said.
"Sorry to worry you all, but I didn't mean to be out so long. I got a little lost you might say. Now can't we just all go inside? Its cold out here." I suggested.
The Titans did agree on one thing (Even if its stupid), It WAS cold out. This might cancel my date with Raven, but I have to make sure this would work.. But right now, I don't think so, but it all depends. I looked at my watch when we got inside, it was 6 PM. Damn, I gotta ask her out sometime soon. After I got into the tower, I went upstairs, to my room. I opened the bypass code to my door, and entered it. And it closed again. Hmm, I feel like I'm forgetting some-- Ah! My book! I've got to go- huh? Laying on my bed was the book that I was reading this morning. Now how did it wind back up here? It must've been one of the teen titans. They must've saw it was mine, and returned it here. I guess it was either Robin or Raven. But it didn't really matter. I saw my cat pur up against my leg, being happy I'm here again. I picked up the little black fur, and started petting her on her head. But unfortunately, I had to get going to ask Raven out. I put down Kika. She was unhappy now. I opened the metal door and closed it behind my back, after I went out the door of course. (Did you expect me to leave that detail out?) I looked left and right for raven at my current position. She wasn't there. I went down the hall and went down stairs to see if she was in the living room. All I saw was Cyborg and BB playing their video games. I looked in the kitchen. And still no sign of her. Where did she go to? Hmmm.. I'll try her room. I went back upstairs, taking step by step, without a rush. I got to the 4th floor, where her room usually is. I wonder why she likes being alone alot, maybe because she doesn't want to be annoyed perhaps? Oh, what am I saying, I read about her history, so why am I saying this now? After thinking for no reason, I found the door to her room. I knocked on the door. -Bong, Bong-
"Uh, Raven? Are you there?" I said over the door.
"Yes, who is it?" She said in her dry voice.
"Its me, Dragona, I was wondering if you'd like to go out today? Its a fine night tonight. Even the moon is up." I said. I saw the moon in the view point when BB and Cyborg were playing around.
"Hmm.." She stood silent for a minute, from what I thought anyway. And she said something.
"It's a fine night, like you said. Wait downstairs, I'll be ready in a moment. I've got something to do."
With that said, I considered on what she said. I told her I'd meet her down there. After that said. I left to go downstairs-- wait a second.. Why am I going downstairs? I should just use the elevator for petes sake! But I better tell the others me and Raven will be gone. I went to the living room, where I saw all 4 Teen Titans in the same place.
"Ah, Hey guys?" Robin and Starfire looked at me, pausing their conversation. Even BB and Cyborg paused their game just to see what I had to say.
"What is it Dragona?" They said in unison. ...If they're going to creep me out like that, I might not have to tell them... But I gotta, I don't want anything to go wrong.
"Ah, Me and Raven are going to an old bookstore she told me about, I heard its full of magic and stuff, and.." I started to finish, but they stared at me more, making me nervous.
"...And she was going to take me there. Who knows? I might know more magic to help in the battles?" I thought I had a feeling they'd thought I'd be lying, but Robin only said.
"Ok, have fun with your date." Robin just bluntly said. Hey! How the heck did you see through me?
"H-Hold on here! Its not a date! I'm just going to an old bookstore, thats it!"
"Ok ok, no need to be uptight, go have fun with your date." He again bluntly said. ...Robin, we need a talk when I get back. After that said, I just had a mad crossmark on my head, and just left the room, heading to the 1st floor, where Raven awaits. I took the stairs down. God, these stairs seem to make me a little more stronger everytime, since I usually don't take the elevator, unless it was necessary. After countlessly going down floors- Damn tower size-, I finally reached the door, where Raven awaited. But she wasn't dressed in a blue cloak this time. From what it looked like, she had a white cloak this time, and her hood down, where some people don't usually see that often.
"Ah, wow Raven, you look beautiful. Seriously." Once before, Raven blushed. But this time, she didn't seem to control herself. Has she been practicing harder to control her emotions? I didn't know. Then, she said something.
"Really? Me? ...No one has ever called me beautiful before, no one." Raven said, still blushing. ..What? Who wouldn't call her beautiful? A blank book? I know that doesn't make sense, but I had to think up something. But anyway, I looked at my watch, and it was 7:00 pm. Better get going while the night is still young.
"Well, really, you do... Ah! We better get going, its already 7:02." Raven just nodded when I said this. So we started to take a little stroll down the park, where the Pizza Parlor was only a mile away. If I told the Titans to drive us there, it'd be a bit of a problem, because I wouldn't know how to explain it clearly. We started chatting while walking through the park.
"Raven, can I ask you something?" I asked her.
"What is it." She said in her dry voice.
"Have you ever gone out with someone before?" I asked.
"No." She just said bluntly. Hm? A woman never going out before.. This could get a little difficult for me then, since I never went out as well. But I should think of something. Besides, we're going to the pizza parlor and all. While we were talking with the chatting, and the giggling and all that, we got to the pizza parlor. The place wasn't very crowded at all, due to the fact its dark. There were candles on the table, so we didn't have to worry about seeing each other in the dark. Since this was different from a cafe', we just picked our seats, the one near the road, where we could be far away from some people as possible. I guess this was Raven's thing.
After awhile, she spoke.
"So, what are you going to get?" She asked. I looked at the menu. Pizza, nothing but Pizza. How was I going to order something suitable? ..Oh yeah, I'll just ask her.
"Umm.. I'm not sure yet.. But what do you want? Whatever it is, I'll order it." I just said this to impress her.
"Anything? ...Hmm." She carefully examined the menu. Looks like shes putting alot of thinking into it. She doesn't have to think THAT hard though. After 2 minutes, the waiter came.
"Are you ready ma'am, and sir?"
We looked up at the waiter. I knew what I wanted.
"I'll get--"
"A Cheese Pizza." Raven changed the answer. While I was interrupted. Cheese? My favorite topping, but how did she know?
"Very well Sir, and Ma'am, it will take 3 minutes." The waiter left after he said those words. I was given the feeling to ask her how she knew what kind of topping I wanted.
"Raven, how did you know I liked cheese?"
"You liked cheese? Its my favorite topping as well. You didn't know?" She said. How could I know when she never told me? *sigh*, oh well. After that, we started talking about eachother, getting to know better of one another. She told me about her homeworld, and why she has to control her powers. She never told me on how she joined the Teen Titans, but I think thats left to a mystery. I told her about my world.. Well, part of it anyway, I couldn't tell her on how I appeared in THIS world. Of course, she couldn't read my mind in order to know. Manoza told me the other day that information is kept secret. Our pizza arrived soon after. We shared it of course. I had enough money to buy each of us one, but Raven considered this. I didn't mind. Then, I had some cheese on my cheek. She noticed this, and took it off with her finger, while wiping it with a napkin.. ..That was a little.. I dunno, a sexual feeling I guess? But I can't let Raven know about those things, it might make her think that I'm a pervert, which I'm not. Argh! Why am I even thinking all this!? After our night's meal. We walked back to Titan's tower, where it hit 9 PM just now, and the others were asleep. We said our goodbyes, as we entered the tower, and into our rooms. Thats when I had to go to bed, since it was a little late for me. But I swear, that was the best night of my life, even if it was someone with dark powers. But Darkness.. Maybe it intrigues me.... Just a little bit...
