Fan Fiction ❯ Different ❯ Not a chance she´s a preppy bitch ( Chapter 1 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]
Different

Ahem! This story came to me (uh...) after I read "He punks me not" - by: Twistedness (fictionpress.com), but... Well, I don't wanna make it about punks - at least not a lot -, but mostly about preppy-looking teens that are only that: preppy-looking, 'cause their actions and backgrounds say otherwise. And, oh, the backgrounds, weird? Just a little... It's a story by me, anyway, okay?

Well, okay, then... A girl, quite perfect, comes back after six years away. She meets a guy, a punk, who doesn't SEEM to have anything to do with her, but... They fall in love. Okay, great. But she's not over her first love yet... Who could he be? And what did the girl do to keep herself busy during her years at a boarding school?

Just as a warning: no problems if you wanna flame - I had to learn it with one of my other fics... -, just don't be cruel. Honesty is okay by me, but not cruelty.

PS: Sorry, in advance, about grammar and spelling mistakes. English is not my first language, and I sorta have a mental block when I write in the said language... Especially because, no matter what language I'm writing in, I tend to write too... Right. Annoying? Not to me, anyway...

PS2: Just to give a heads up: no point in commenting on the names - characters, places, acts, the story itself -, 'cause I know I suck at naming, so...

PS3: If I mess up any of the names - if I ever happen to mention any kind of pop/rock music singer/whatever or anything that is WAY out of my area of expertise (example: high schools and boarding schools - and american school in general - I just don't really get... Plus cars and motorcycles)-, do forgive me and please, review and help me improve and take the mistake out of the story. Just to make things easier, I might just make up stuff, such as cities (not small, by the way),bands, singers and such.

PS4: Light (at least I think it is so) swearing, okay? You did read the title of the first chapter, right...?

PS5: Drugs and stuff. I'll try to go easy on it.

PS6: Slight Hentai... I'll try to go easy on it.

Act 0001: Not a chance she's a preppy bitch

Winston High... A basically normal american high school. And, as such, the preppy, jocks and cheerleaders 'ruled'. As if!, but they were the bullies, not the bullied, and they gave the school prestige, so... They kinda mattered. *Ahem*

A girl, different from probably all of Winston's girls, no matter their cliques, walked into the school's buidiling (if the way I describe the school's grounds is not good enough, please, do let me know). It was her first day.

Let's see... (By the way, I have no idea how american - or not, whatever - measures work, so I'll be using kilometer and meters and centimeters and kilos and grams) She was about... 1,74, which means, she was pretty tall for a girl (at least I think so...), with long, straight black hair, in a high ponytail, simply gorgeous and very bright dark blue eyes (God... Black hair and dark blue eyes... My dream of a guy, but also works okay for a girl), and a simply killer body (I just had to write that... For the guys and... For... Some girls too... Trying to be fair here, that's all), her whole self making a lot of eyes turn to look curiously at her. And not only her looks drove eyes to her.

Her attitude. Oh, yeah... She walked as if she owned the school, but she wasn't exactly arrogant, just... Confident. Simply. And the way she was dressed... A short black and dark green skirt, like the ones from private schools uniforms, a sleeveless, with stripes, black top, with black leather boots. And she carried a black backpack. But the very important and noticeble point: she had NO make - up what so ever on her beautiful and rather delicade face. Oh... No make - up... That was almost a first on a girl that seemed to be a prep...

She walked straight through the long hall, a bunch of guys whispering (yeah, right...), *ahem* yelling a lot of stuff, like 'Holy shit... Come here and make me happy, girl...' (I'm no good with those kinda 'conversations' and pick up lines...), the girl simply walking away, not even glancing at them, and certainly not even throwing her hair at them.

The girl came to a calm stop when she saw a girl with shoulder lenght dark blond hair and delicade light green eyes laughing with a group of jocks, cheerleaders - like the blondie herself was - and a few preps - girls and boys.

"Hey" - the girl with the most gorgeous blue eyes ever (blue eyes...) said softly, and their heads turned to her, slightly curious - "Are you by any chance... Sarah Bryant?"

"Yeah, that's me..." - said the blondie slowly, eyeing the girl.

"Ah... Don't remember me? I'm hurt, Sarah! Seriously, nothing? Come on! Kaylee here!"

"K... Kaylee! Kaylee Richards! OMG! It's really you! I can't believe it! You're back, girl!" - she suddenly hugged the blue eyed girl, who hugged her back - "God... What's it been? Like..."

"I think... 'Bout... I'm not sure... Maybe six years or so"

"Six years! OMG! Oh, my God!" - she blushed slightly and turned to her... Friends - "Sorry, guys! This is my childhood friend, Kaylee Richards, simply the smartest, sweetest and... Nicest girl ever"

"Ever thought 'bout going into the advertisement business? They'd sure love having someone like you, Sarah" - said Kaylee in a rather... Sarcastic tone. Sarah looked surprised at her old friend, but said nothing - "Well, gotta go... To the principal's office, so... See ya later, Sarah. And... Ah, I'll get to know you guys later on, right? So... Bye" - and she quickly left.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Miss... Kaylee Richards. Amazing grades, a lot of extracurricular activities, seminaries, great letters of recomendation, a more than perfect school record... You are just the kinda of student we are looking for here in Winston High School, you see" - said the smiling principal - "Which is why you were allowed to enter right now, in the middle of our second semester's second week".

"Thank you, sir" - Kaylee answered, not very truthfully.

"Well, I believe you should want to join the masses before classes start, correct? Such a good start, coming here so early... So you don't miss the very start of your first class here, huh?"

"I suppose so, sir" - she shrugged a little, but he dismissed it.

"Well, miss Richards, welcome to our school. Any problems, come to me directly" - they stood up and shook hands, Kaylee leaving the principal's office quickly.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

<Fifteen minutes to my first class...> - Kaylee thought while reading her schedule - <First and second classes... Crap... Great! Just what I needed... Biology. God... I need...> - she trailled off, and looked around, looking for something. And... She found it sooner than she'd expected.

The girl with the blue eyes walked nonchalantly to a certain far away wall, where no one seemed to want to go to. Except for her and... A boy sitting there.

<Hum... Interesting... I might just fit in...> - Kaylee thought, smirking.

The boy was all alone, dressed in absolute black, with also black hair - natural, apparently, but Kaylee knew much better. His eyes were of a golden color, very lovely, and he was actually pretty attractive, although his looks might seem a bit deceiving and even pass for scary. But not to that girl, though. She smiled and sat down right next to the boy, who seemed very, very surprised with her action.

"You... Shouldn't be here" - he said, his voice low and aparently dangerous. Kaylee, however, simply rolled her eyes at him, making him raise even more his fakely black eyebrows. She noticed his golden eyes and smiled a bit.

"Neither should you, I suppose" - she replied. She reached out for her skirt's pocket, and took a silver cigarettes holder (okay, don't know the exact name of that thing, but it's the metal thing where you put cigarettes, just to look fancy or something like it. I'll call it, from now on, like that: cigarettes holder. If I happen to find out its actual name, then I'll change it. *Hint, hint* Anyone who knows the name of the thing I've mentined, please, help me) and a carved silver lighter. The boy widened his eyes a bit.

"You smoke" - he said, not asked.

"So do you" - she said back, and he smirked, looking down at his cigarrete. Kaylee took one from her holder and lit it quickly.

"So... Ya don't know who I am, do ya?"

"Not really. Couldn't, really. Just got here"

"Are ya some sorta PB?"

"What's that?"

"PB stands for Preppy Bitch"

"Hum. I suppose I dress like one, but... I'd say my actions say otherwise, wouldn't you?"

"I guess..."

"I'm Kye Richards, by the way"

"Weird name" - he mumbled, smiling.

"Nickname. Kaylee, which is not such an improvement, is my actual name, but... I feel like I can let you call me Kye, simply"

"Right... I'm Cray Stanford, but my real name's Kris" - Kaylee seemed to think hard for a moment.

"That's with a K or with a C?"

"K"

"Right... So you're KS" - she laughed softly, making him look at her - "Your nick should be either Cassey or Kiss" - he stared at her, still laughing, and laughed as well.

"You're not funny"

"You laughed"

"The situation made me laugh, not you" - the warning bell rang, and Kaylee sighed, putting her cigarrete out. Internally, Kris (I'll call him by his actual name) sighed as well - <Fuck. She's not a fuckin' PB, she smokes, she's got sense of humour and she's hot...>

"Well, I gotta go. I've got like THE perfect record, so I can't mess it up now, can I?" - she stood up, and so did him. She raised her eyebrows at him - "Ah... You're desappointing me. Thought you were some kinda rebel..."

"Not. Punk it more like it. The clothes, the cigarrete, the chains, the piercings...?" - he wore black, lots of chains on his pockets, smoked and had two piercings on his right eyebrow, two on the right ear and one on the left one (Five piercings... A.N. I didn't put a nose piercing nor a lip one nor a tongue one 'cause I don't think they look good, and because of this one other thing I'll tell later).

"Yeah... Maybe it's 'cause I've spent the last... Hum... Six years or so in a boarding school in the middle of nowhere. Ah! Gotta go. See ya later... Kris"

"Yeah... Wait! Where's ya first class?"

"Bio. We better kill something today..." - she mumbled. He smirked.

"I'll help ya"

"Got Bio too?"

"Yeah. Let's go, then..."

They basically ran to the school's buiding, and Kris led Kaylee and himself to the Bio lab. The teacher and most of the students were already there.

"Mister Stanford. How good to see you here" - said the teacher, Annie Jones, a young and gorgeous woman, with the most amazing green eyes. She always left her blond hair loose, very well done. She was the dream girl (or woman, whatever) of 99,9% of the guys in Winston, and a few females - including staff.

"Hello, Annie" - Kris shot back. She smirked to him, and turned to Kaylee, while Kris sat down on the back. He smirked to the girl, and she noticed how people didn't wanna be around Kris.

"I'm Kaylee Richards, ma'am" - the girl said, politely, and smiling sweetly. She handed the teacher a piece of paper, which she read quickly, raising her eyebrows.

"'Winchester Academic School' is where you went to before... For the last... Six years...?"

"Yeah"

"Huh. I've heard it's a fine school"

"You can say that, I guess"

"Well, welcome to advanced Bio 2 (here is my lack of expertise when it comes to school, see?), Kaylee. You need a partner, and everyone already has a partner, so... Ah, of course! Mister Stanford, Kaylee is your new Bio partner. Kaylee, meet your lab partner, Cray"

"Right... CRAY Stanford" - Kaylee said, slowly, slightly sly. She smirked and went to sit next to Kris, whose smirk was even bigger - "Nice to meet you, CRAY" - she said, obviously fakely.

"Yeah... KAYLEE" - he replied.

"All right, people! We are opening a frog today, as you can see on your desks, I believe" - Kaylee grinned, while most of students, mainly girls, looked disgusted. Kris saw her smile and did the same.

"I'll take the frog" - Kaylee said with a total wicked smile on her lips. Kris nodded, holding back another smile.

Minutes and minutes later, most of the students were most definetely disgusted, many girls had thrown up, and the guys were not so brave themselves. Kris and Kaylee, however, seemed to be morbidly having fun cutting into the frog's thin skin, flesh, organs... And so on.

"Ah... Very good, Kaylee, mister Stanford" - said Annie looking over their shoulders - "You didn't faint or throw up either. Great job" - she whispered to them, before walking away.

"She loves us, already" - said Kris, playing with the frog's cut leg.

"I noticed... So... What's up with you calling her 'Annie' and her calling you 'mister Stanford' anyway?"

"I know her for a very long time... She's actually my father's third degree cousin. That's why I call her 'Annie', and she calls me 'mister Stanford'. Just to screw 'round..."

"Hum... Interesting" - Kris looked sideways at her, wondering if she might be talking about Annie and himself, but she was simply cutting through the frog, not seeming to hear him very well. He couldn't help a smile.

"The heart" - said Kris, using his knife to point the said organ.

"Yeap. Ah... This is so... Relaxing..."

"Ya think findin' a frog's organs's... Relaxin'?"

"Very. It's just that... Well, I DID have another way to relax back in WAZ... That's Winchester Academic School, by the way"

"Right..."

"But... I gotta be good here... Otherwise... My brother's gonna be extra cruel to me, and he sure can"

"What 'bout ya parents?" - she cut a little deeper into the frog.

"They're dead. They died when I was ten, and so... My brother became my legal guardian... He was eighteen exactly when they died..."

"Eh... Didn't mean to..."

"It's fine. I suppose you never get over something like this, right?"

"Yeah..."

"Did you...?"

"No, I got lucky there. Mom and dad are both alive and well, and so is my older brother"

"Hum... Is this its brain?"

"Huh? Huh! I think it is... Nice job... Morbid as hell, but still..."

"Ah... This is not morbid. Killing it and doing this would be morbid, but we didn't kill it, so..."

"Anyway... Morbid"

"Not"

"Yeah"

"Shut the fuck up, will ya, Kris?"

"Whatever, Kye"

The class did not go on for much longer, Kris and Kaylee being the only safe and sound - and okay - pair. Annie was sure happy about it. Reasons to be so? One: Kris actually showed up, two: he sure seemed to be getting along just fine with the new student, which was interesting because she was new, she looked like a total prep and Kris kinda hated and loathed preps and newbies. Oh, and three: Kaylee seemed to be great at Bio, although she did seem to have a morbid like for opening dead bodies...

"So... What's ya next class, Kris?"

"If my first class was with ya, then... We've got all of our classes together, Kye. Except for the selectives"

"Ah... Weird..."

"Kaylee!"

"Fuck" - Kaylee mumbled, turning around. Sarah came running to her, and stopped, frowning, when she saw Kris. He glared at her and walked away. The blue eyed girl watched him go, but said nothing.

"Ah... So! We've got all of our classes together! Not counting the selectives, of course, but even so...!"

"Yeah! Great!"

"OMG!" - she pushed Kaylee through the hallway - "You got paired up with Cray Stanford! What a nightmare! I mean, totally bad!"

"Why?"

"What do you mean, 'why', Kaylee? He's a punk! He... He... I mean, did you actually look at him right in the eye?" - she blinked at Kaylee - "He glares at anyone who's not like him"

"I believe I would've known if he'd glared at me, Sarah" - she snapped, dryly.

"What's wrong, Kaylee? You're so... Different from when you left..."

"Yeah... The death of both your parents, and going to a strange place, in the middle of nowhere, away from the only place you knew can do that to you, Sarah" - she replied, so naturally and calm that Sarah even stopped.

"Kaylee..."

"Next class?"

"Eh... Geography"

"Great" - Kaylee mumbled, annoyed and walking into the room she saw Kris walking into.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The classes went on smoothly until lunch. Kaylee did okay at them, not drawing so much attention as she could've, considering she was very good at academics. She kinda ignored Sarah, and sat very close to Kris, who she talked to almost everytime the teacher faced the board and gave them his/ her back (that didn't sound bad, did it?).

"Finally, lunch!" - Kaylee cried, cheerfully. She glanced at Kris and smiled - "What is it, Kris?"

"Huh? What?"

"Lunch, come on! A fuckin' break between those idiotic worthless classes!"

"Yeah, yeah... But you're going with that PB friend of yours, huh? Bryant, right?"

"Sarah Bryant, yeah. Don't know... She really is a fuckin' PB, but... She's like my oldest friend, although I really haven't talked to her in over... Six years. Ever since I went to WAZ"

"But she's a PB. She ain't gonna give it up that easily, Kye"

"Whatever"

"Right. Well... I'll see you next class... Or tomorrow mornin', right?"

"Behind the wall it is, Kris" - she winked in an adorable and preppy way, and Kris actually smiled.

"Yeah. Don't be late, missy Richards" - he said in a british accent, which he did pretty well.

"I will not, monsieur Stanford. Don't be late yourself" - she said in a french accent, and both laughed softly.

"Kaylee! Hey! Come on!" - Sarah cried. Kaylee almost hit the locker, but restrained herself from doing so. She turned her blue eyes to Kris, who was already walking away. She smiled a bit and went to Sarah.

"What's up?" - she asked her 'oldest friend'.

"Guys, I want you all to meet my oldest and dearest friend, although we hadn't even heard from each other since she left..." - she paused for a moment, trying to find the right words to use to continue. Kaylee, on the other hand, simply put her hand on her hip and rolled her eyes - "Eh... Alrighty, then! Kaylee, meet: Tony Anderson" - she pointed at a blond guy with black eyes, and a very sly smile - "Mike Matherson" - he was a pretty tall guy with black hair and adorable, yet dangerous green eyes - "Dinah Davidson" - a cheerleader, with long dark brown hair and cute and bright chocolate eyes - "and Jenna Bonnes" - a beautiful girl with chocolate hair and dark green eyes, very gorgeous - "My friends here at Winston"

"Right..." - Kaylee said, slowly, eyeing everyone one of them - "Nice to meet you. Call me... Kaylee, please"

"Tony, Mike or Mikey, Dinah and Jenna, Jen or Jenny" - Sarah provided, happily. Once again, Kaylee rolled her eyes, and she seemed pretty bored, this time.

"Fine. I've met them, but now I really need to get something to eat... I normally don't eat at this time..." - she smiled, memories flooding through her mind - "But... New town, new school, new stupid habits, right?"

<She's SO different from what she was when she left...> - Sarah thought, almost sadly.

"Hey, let's get goin' then, huh?" - Mike said, in an adorable way. Kaylee eyed him sweetly and opened a big smile.

They walked into the cafeteria, most people looking at them with almost total adoration. Kaylee knew it from the way their eyes sparkled. She almost rolled her eyes at them.

They sat down, the guys had had gotten drinks for the girls and themselves, and an apple to Kaylee, from Mike, who smiled kindly to her, and she couldn't help herself anymore.

"Mike... Can I ask you something?" - she asked, in a childish way.

"Sure, Kaylee. Shoot"

"Okay, then. Are you gay?" - everyone's mouths simply dropped, the newbie girl simply drinking from her soda can.

"What?" - Mike was able to ask, nervously, after a few seconds staring at her.

"I'm sorry! I didn't say it loud enough, maybe? Okay, again: ARE YOU GAY, MIKE MATHERSON?"

"What the...?! Why would you... Why would anyone...?!"

"Ah... Well, there're only two reasons... Okay... Three. Three reasons for a guy to act as nice and sweet as you are. One: They're simply gay. My first choice. Two: They wanna fuck someone, or get blown. Too easy! And... Three: They're simply that way. Too freaky and rare. Not you, anyway, so I figured: gay or pervert. Either way, not a good image you're sending out, Mikey" - she grinned evilly and drank from her soda again.

Mike, pissed and totally blushed out of embarrassement. Sarah stared at her friend, without believing her behaviour, and everyone else just watched her calm self.

"I gotta cut this..." - Kaylee mumbled, staring at her unwrapped apple (A.N. Do cafeterias, anywhere, wrap fruits? 'Cause I thought about it, and... Well, I made the guys from Winston do so). She quickly took something out of her pocket... A swiss pocket knife... - "Much better" - she said, smiling, while she easily cut the red apple. She ate a small cut piece and stared at the people around her. She swallowed - "What? You want some?"

"I AM NOT GAY!" - Mike exclaimed.

"Okay. Pervert, then"

"I AM NOT A PERVERT!"

"Ah... Right. And longing for a good blow job is not being a pervert. Of course"

"I don't... I mean..."

"No way to give a good comeback to that, Mikey"

"Are you fucking with me?"

"Not at the moment, and I don't think I ever will. You're not... What am I saying? God... You're just not... My! I'm seriously out today! You are not the kinda guy I'd fuck... Or blow, for that matter, and considering it's you, Mikey..."

"You're a fucking bitch, Kaylee" - Mike said, his eyes narrowed.

"Ha! I knew your eyes were SO not as adorable and loveble and kind as they seemed! You're the devil in a desguise! A nice desguise, by the way, but, even so..."

"Ah... So you think I'm hot?"

"I've seen hot back at WAZ, Mikey, and you're just not quite there yet. Sorry"

"Wow... Did you just say... 'WAZ'? As is... Winchester Academic School'?" - Dinah asked Kaylee, who nodded, opening a small and kind smile.

"You're Dennis's little sister, aren't you?"

"You met Dennis?"

"Yeah. Well... Of course that he left like two years ago and all, but... Yeah, I met him. Nice guy, Dinah. A little... Well, let's just not go THERE, huh? How's he, by the way? The bastard hasn't returned my e - mails..."

"He's fine. He's really enjoying Stanford"

"Ah... I thought he went to... Oh, no! That was a different Dennis. Dennis Michaelson. Another nice guy, but a overly brainy one. Got into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford... The whole ivy - league. Went to... Harvard, I think... Huh... I should go visit him..."

"Yeah! I mean... It's right around the corner! I mean... It's all Boston, and we're right next to it, after all..." - they all live in Urban Legion - UL, a city right next to Boston (totally made up - duh! -, its name coming from a band...).

"Yeah... Dennis, Dana, Jim... Jonathan, D, Deck! God... I've got SO many people to go visit... Damn"

"You sure know a lot of... Brainies" - Sarah commented. Kaylee smiled, and glanced at Mike, who was glaring at her.

"Kinda. WAZ does not allow low grades. Low grades are like... Well, the ones who get bad grades are the outcasts of the outcasts at WAZ. Which is why no one gets bad grades there. And what, Mikey?"

"I'm not gay, I'm not more of a pervert than any other guy on the face of Earth, and, to be totally honest, I would never refuse a blow job" - he said, his eyes narrowed and dark. Kaylee laughed softly.

"I never said you were gay, nor a pervert. I simply assumed. If you took my words for insults, that's not my problem, Michael"

"It's Mike"

"Michael"

"Fuck off!"

"Just 'cause I ASSUMED you were either gay or perverted, it doesn't mean I actually meant it. Hey, I was pretty nice and honest when I said you were hot. Not the hot I'm used to, but considering I'm on foreign and strange territory..."

"Humpt" - Mike smiled a bit, starting to forget about his petty argue with Kaylee - <She can be a total bitch, but... Let's just give her time. She's interesting enough...>

The teens soon forgot about Mike's and Kaylee's first encounter, and started chatting normally.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The two last classes of the day were PE. Kaylee, for a change, was very excited. So different from the way she acted on her other classes that day...

"Why're you so happy, Kaylee?" - Sarah asked.

"'Cause I happen to love PE. I've always liked it, remember?" - she replied.

"Well, yes, but..."

"Ah, Sarah, come on! How can someone NOT like PE?"

"There" - Sarah whispered in return, looking straight up. Kaylee looked as well, and smiled.

Kris was leaning against the wall, seeming bored, almost willing to kick someone to get out of the class. His eyes were closed, his face somewhat frowned, which showed his boredom. He suddenly opened his eyes and shot Sarah a glare and Kaylee a meaningful glance. Sarah shivered and looked away, but Kaylee sent him back an equally full of meaning look. A smile touched their lips as soon as their eyes locked.

"Alright!" - the teacher yelled - "We've got a new student with us today! I know you've probably already met her, but I'll introduce her again anyway! This is Kaylee Richards! And we have the unexpected visit of our very own tourist, Cray Stanford! Good to have you here, Kaylee, and don't do anything violent again, Stanford!"

"Yes sir" - the two teens said, a sarcastic tone on their single words, and a slight glare on their beautiful eyes. Towards the teacher, not each other, of course.

"Okay, then. We're having a little competition here today, as I said the last time! Combat and martial arts! I know none of you... Almost none of you have any sorta experience in any of them, so just kick, punch, slap, throw!"

The so called competition started not much later. Boys against boys, girls against girls.

"Kaylee, you go against... Danielle Thompson" - said the teacher. Kaylee smirked.

It could not be considered to be a very fair fight, once Kaylee had Danielle with her butt on the floor only a minute after the fight began. The other students, watching them, were speechless.

"Nothing like a good exercise" - Kaylee said, craking her knuckles. Kris smirked to himself.

"Stanford against Matherson. No violence, Stanford" - the teacher warned, but the punk boy only smirked to his adversary.

And... Soon, Mike was on the floor, his stomach hurting from the punch he'd just received. Kris opened a satisfied smirk and walked away.

"Stanford..." - the teacher warned with a glare.

"I didn't hurt him much, SIR"

"Violence I will not stand here, Stanford. Now get the..."

"Does that mean I'm been kicked out of your class too, sir?" - Kaylee asked sweetly, although her eyes showed an angry glint.

"What...?"

"K... Cray simply knocked Mikey to the ground. And what did I do to... Danielle, sir? I knocked her down to the floor... Humpt... Similarities there?"

"Kaylee..."

"What, SIR?"

"Fine. Wanna get out of PE? Be my guest" - smirking, both Kaylee and Kris left the gym. The other students, and even the teacher, stared at the closed doors without believing: Cray Stanford had just been kicked out of PE class. No big surprise there. But... The new girl, who seemed to be such a little preppy, got out of the class too? Willingly? And... Had she defended Cray Stanford, the punk?

"What an ass" - Kaylee commented to Kris, beside her. He smirked and offered her a cigarrete - "Thanks, Kris. By the way, why do people call you Cray, even the teachers, instead of Kris?" - he remained quiet for a moment.

"'Cause... Cray's a nick, of course, and I've been using it for some time now, so it's normal for people to call me that. Even teachers"

"Huh. Weird"

The two were sitting side by side on the back of the gym. There was a lot of grass there, and it was actually very pleasant to just stand there at that time of the day. Both teens were comfortable and relaxed.

"So... Why does Mr. Kevinson kinda loathes you?" - Kaylee asked, trying to start a light conversation.

"'Cause he does. He doesn't like punks or people who don't give a fuck 'bout 'im"

"Ah... Then I get the feeling he's already hatin' me too. Another thing we've got in commom..." - she stared up at the blue and clear sky.

"'Another'...?"

"Cigarrete, frog, Mr. Kevinson"

"Addiction, cutting, hate"

"That's right. You know..." - she looked at him - "You don't really sound like an outcast..."

"Say what?"

"You talk as if... As if you're... Don't get me wrong, but as if you were a brainy guy... Maybe... Sorry, but a pop"

"What?"

"Popular...?"

"Yeah... Not really, huh, Kye?"

"Maybe..." - she kept on staring at him, saying nothing more - <He's got golden eyes... And his hair's not really black... Hum... Who knows...?> - "Hey, Kris, what's ya..."

"Hey, Kaylee!" - Sarah said, excited. The blue eyed girl stared at her friend, almost glaring - "Mr. Kevinson said you... Wh...? Are you... Smoking?! You are! Kaylee!"

"What did he say?"

"Wha...? Ah, he... He, ah... He said you two can go back to class... But, Kaylee... I didn't... I had no idea you..."

"Ah... Go back to that idiot...? No way. I'll be fine right here" - Kaylee replied, coolly.

"But... Kaylee...!"

"Ah, leave me alone, Sarah. Go inside and tell him I don't feel like going back to a class taught by a guy with the ego of a King"

"And I don't wanna go back to no fuckin' shitty..."

"Alright! Kaylee, I'll meet you..."

"Meet me here, after class. And bring me my bag, okay?"

"But..."

"I don't feel like changing, and this ain't that bad. Okay?"

"Okay... But, Kaylee... The cigarrete...?"

"What 'bout it?"

"Hum... Nothing. We'll talk later. Bye" - she ran back to the gym.

"She sure is a PB" - Kris commented.

"Yeah... She's my old and good friend, but even so... She really is a damn PB..."

"And you're stuck with her..."

"So it seems..."

"You know... You talk like a school teacher sometimes..."

"Habits..." - she mumbled, smiling.

"Right..."

The two remained silent for a long time, just smoking. When Kaylee's cigarrete was finished, Kris wordlessly gave her another one, which she accepted also wordlessly.

The two PE classes ended and Kris finally got up, dusting himself. He looked down at Kaylee.

"See ya tomorrow"

"Okay" - she winked and smiled sweetly. He smirked and walked away.

Kaylee got up, cleaned up her pants and waited for Sarah, who soon came, running, her face blushed.

"God! This class was such torture! Simply! Well, anyway... Let's go?"

Without a word said, Kaylee got her bag from her friend and they started walking away.

Sarah chatted happily, while Kaylee replied with a small and almost kind smile. Her friend had always been the happier of the two, and now that Kaylee was so much colder and sarcastic, Sarah was more cheerful and childish.

"And, so..." - Sarah stopped talking suddenly, when Kaylee stopped beside her. She followed her friend's blue eyes, just to find... A black Mercedez with two people on top of it. Two men.

The car was blasting some sort of rock music, and the two men, one sitting and the other one lying, on the roof of the car, didn't seem to be bothered by the noise. The one lying seemed to be sleeping, actually.

"Yo, Vincent!" - Kaylee exclaimed, getting the attention of the man sitting. He had black hair and wore black shades.

"Kye" - he said, softly, taking off his shades. He was incrediblely handsome, very manly, yet with soft features. His skin was a bit tanned, and his eyes were of a gorgeous tone of light blue... Sky blue (I like that shade of blue... So pretty... See? A guy with blue eyes and black hair... But not the last) - "Hey, moron, wake up. Kye's here".

"Kye...?" - the definetely sleeping man sat on the roof of the black Mercedez, and looked at Kaylee, who smiled - "Hey, Kye! Long time no see, girl!"

"I know, you bastard" - the man laughed, and was even more handsome. He had light brown hair, almost blond, and green eyes, which were dark at the moment. He was maybe as handsome as Vincent, but seemed to be younger than the blue eyed guy.

"Don't call me a bastard, Kye! Dad wouldn't like to hear that"

"Still, you are one"

"Ahem! Moron?" - Vincent provided, and laughed when the other man hit him on the back - "Hey, moron, stop that! I'll run you over!"

"As if, Vince!"

"Vince...?" - Sarah whispered.

"My brother. Remember him?" - Kaylee asked.

"Well... Last time I saw him... I think I was like... Six...?"

"'Round... It was when he left to that boarding school..."

"Yeah! God! Hey, Vince! It's me, Sarah Bryant" - Vincent looked at her and opened a kind and dashing smile, which made a lot of girls - and a few guys - blush and fall for him at the exact moment they received that kinda smile. Sarah blushed...

"Hello, Sarah. It's been a while, huh?"

"I guess..."

"Hey! Kye, you've got a nice looking friend there..." - the green eyed man said, with a sly smile on his lips. He got down from the roof and stood in front of Sarah, looking deeply into her eyes. She blushed harder - "Carter Turner, very nice to meet you, Sarah"

"Nice to meet you too, Carter..."

"Weird name I've got, huh? Parents with bad humour, don't ya think?" - he said in two seconds - "Hey, Kye, we've gotta get goin'. Vince an' I gotta go back to the office in like... An hour"

"Office..." - Vincent murmured.

"Okay, we've gotta go meet these two totally hot girls I got for us. Your brother, Kye, must be gay, 'cause he only fucks the girls I get 'im for like a week! And then, 'bye, nice to meet you, great fuck', ya know?"

"At least I don't take a week to get them to bed. I do that on the first date" - Vincent shot back - "And you don't have a very good taste for women..."

"Hey!"

"You get hot girls for you, and I get stuck with women that can't even keep up with me..." - Kaylee's brother mumbled.

"Okay... I take that gay comment back, Vince. Kye, did ya know that your brother Vince has had like... Ten girls in the last three months? I mean, come on!"

"You get a woman to fuck you every two weeks, and that's more than most guys get, so what are you complaining 'bout?"

"You just broke up with Maggie yesterday and you've already got a date tonight! And you're so getting laid tonight"

"I get laid every night, Carter. Ever since..." - he trailled off, realizing just how many people were around them, listening to the conversation. He cleared his throat and got off of the roof of the car - "Let's get going, Kye"

"Fine, Casanova" - Kaylee replied, smirking.

"You coming, Sarah?" - Vincent asked.

"What? Oh, no, it's fine..."

"Got a car?"

"No, not really, but..."

"Then you're coming. You live basically next door, after all..."

"What?"

"What?"

"Ah... Nothing..."

So, the foursome entered the Mercedez and drove away, Vincent being the driver. The ride was full of basically cheerful conversation, Carter flirting with Kaylee and Sarah non - stop, but his friend hit him almost every time he did so.

"Thanks for the ride, Vince" - Sarah said, smiling brightly.

"No problem, Sarah" - he replied, politely - "It's my duty as an older brother..."

"Right... Well, see ya later, Vince, Carter, and nice to meet you... 'See you tomorrow, Kaylee" - she waved them goodbyes and left.

"Dates, Vince! Come on!" - Carter said, almost like a little kid.

"Shut up, moron. Kye, you'll be fine, right?"

"Fuck off, Vince. As if I'd ever not be 'fine'" - Kaylee snapped, and left the car. Vincent sighed.

"She hates me, moron"

"Stop calling me moron, Vince. And she doesn't hate you. She can't hate you!"

"She's my younger sister, and we haven't even had that much contact in the last years... And I took her away from WAZ. What do you think?"

"I think you need a drink, my friend"

"Shut up, Carter. Kye..."

"Is gonna be just fine, Vince! Come on! Girls, me, getting laid tonight... Come on!"

"Fine!" - angry, Vincent drove off.

From the large and beautiful mansion, a pair of dark and cold blue eyes stared at the leaving figure of the black Mercedez through a large and imponent window.

"Vince..."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

This is the second... Tecnically third story I've ever let people read.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I do realize some stuff might even seem strange, maybe weird, but bear with me, please - I'm trying.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

As said before, flaming is accepted pretty normally, but not cruelty, 'kay?

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I'd like to get word if the characters are "okay". Not that I'll actually change them much - as in Kye and Kris -, but just to know if they're at least likeble...

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Next chapters might *ahem* WILL take a while to be posted... I'm currently working on chapter 03, which is doing kinda well, with about 12 pages (around 4.500 words - a lil' far from the other two - with more than 6.000 words each...), but not good enough to close as a chapter, anyway. But soon, I think... My kingdom for some focus...
