Heya! I'm back to writing again, you may remember me as the writer of Pet Force #6 and Close Encounters of the One Half Kind, but this time, I'm writing an original fanfic. This is much less spontaneous and has many people who really exist, some are fictional, and you'll probable be able to find these characters immediately. In real life my Grandfather died, and my idea for Dragon Keeper came from that with an adventure leading from that. (As you will find out from reading this, I'm Karen) I hope you enjoy this! C ya!

(Karen runs up to her friends in the library of their High School)

Karen: Hey! I'm back from Ohio!

Johnathan: *sigh* And the day started out so good...

Karen: That's it! No souvenir rare Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for you!

Johnathan: Nooooo! The heart of the cards must guide me!

(Karen has given all of the souvenirs from Ohio to her friends *Jessica, Elora, Shawn, Renee, and Johnathan... reluctantly to Johnathan*)

Shawn: How did you get this?! (Shawn holds up a rare DVD of Fushigi Yugi)

Karen: I have my ways (hides her winning lottery ticket)

(Jessica is holding a signed photo of the entire Whose Line is it Anyway cast and refusing to let anyone touch it, afraid it's magicalness will rub off on them... or the ink... Johnathan is dueling with his new and old cards and wins, the one who he was dueling loses and leaves the library angry that he lost to a Hane-Hane. Elora is on the library computers watching an Anime show titled Those Who Hunt Elves, and Renee is hugging a mysterious thing Karen found on the road when in Ohio)

Karen: Whew... good thing I got all of that stuff out of my backpack... that was heavy...

(Shawn looks up at Karen and notices that she's wearing a strange necklace, Karen sees where his eyes are set and thinks he's looking at her boobs)

Karen: HEY! NO BOOB PEEKING!

(Karen lashes out with her fist and gives Shawn a bloody nose)

Shawn: (nursing his nose) Like I would look at those inflatables... I was looking at that necklace you're wearing!

Karen: Oh... this? ... hey! My boobs aren't inflatable!

(Her friends all crowd around the table as Karen begins to explain everything she knows about the necklace)

Karen: I found this when I was at my Grandma's house, the one my Dad used to live in... I was looking around in the attic when I found this in a box. One of the stones is missing... and there was a note with it... but it's in Japanese, so I can't read it.

Jessica: Your family's from Japan?

Karen: Not that I know of... I was always told we're from Ireland...

Renee: I think there's a book on how to read Japanese here in the library...

Jessica: Well go find it!

(Renee goes and finds the book which is soon yanked from her hands by Elora who begins to translate the note with it)

Elora: It says... "Fire, Water, Flesh, Earth and Blood, combine to make a being powerful enough to save or destroy the world of it's home. Together with the faith of a human, will create the destiny for all worlds and their people. Take us to where our destiny lies..."

(Elora looks up at the others confused, but sees they're just as puzzled as she is)

Karen: Maybe it means- (But Karen doesn't get to finish, as she is cut off as a shaft of light flies from the middle of the now translated paper and bathes the six of them in)

Renee: What's going on?!

Shawn: I don't know, but look!

(They all look around them, and all of the other people in the library are frozen in time)

Jessica: I don't like this...

(But that's the last thing they all said or heard... as the white light brightens, they all black out, and don't remember anything until they arrive at their destination)

Elora: *groan* Where am I? (Elora looks around to find all of her friends lying around her and an unknown boy, about 17 looking at her curiously) YAAAAGH! WHO ARE YOU?!

(The boy has long black hair in a tight braid running down the middle of his back, Elora doesn't recognize the clothes he wears, she assumes they're from a foreign country, the boy doesn't seem fazed by Elora's scream and alarmed face)

Boy: (Calmly) My name's Hano, I'm pleased to meet such a beautiful girl as yourself.

(Elora is stunned at his comment)

Elora: Where is this place?! What have you done with my friends?!

Hano: I did not do anything to your friends... I found all of you like this, unconscious, and the answer to the other question is Aronada.

Elora: Aro-what-a?

Hano: Aronada, it's a planet...

Elora: I'm... on another... PLANET?! How did this happen?!

Hano: You mean you're not from here? Then where are you from?

Elora: Last time I checked it was Earth!

(A look of suprise appears on Hano's face)

Elora: (alarmed at this) What? What's wrong?

Hano: N-nothing... let me help you with your friends...

Elora: (suspicious) O...k...

(After Karen, Johnathan, Jessica, Shawn, and Renee are awaken, a few of them having the same reaction of Elora, they all began trying to figure out how they got here)

Karen: Maybe some weird aliens picked us up with their tractor beam and brought us here!

Shawn: Yeah, and I have a pet flying pig named Suzy who can sing!

Karen: Ooo! Can I meet it?

Shawn: You're hopeless...

Johnathan: Can we just get to the point?!

Jessica: Right... now... the last thing we remember is that weird paper and that freaky light... agree?

(Everyone except Hano, because he wasn't there, mumbles in agreement)

Jessica: Meaning there's a possibility that these had something to do with it...

Karen: Don't forget my necklace!

(Hano's eyes open in suprise again)

Hano: Necklace?

Karen: Yeah, see? (Karen holds up her necklace for him to see)

Hano: Where did you get that?

Karen: I found it in my Grandma's house isn't it-

Hano: Who's your Grandfather?

Karen: Uh... what does that have to do with anything...

Hano: Tell me... please...

Karen: (confused) His um... name was John... but he died before I was born...

Hano: (to himself) So he was telling the truth...

(Confused, everyone stares at Hano, wondering what he means, after a while, Hano looks back at all six of the friends)

Hano: I'm going with you...

Shawn: We're going somewhere?

Johnathan: Where?

Renee: Yay! Road trip!

Hano: You are the chosen few...

Elora: Come again?

Hano: You were the ones foretold to come and save this world...

Jessica: We were?

Hano: Yes... now... follow me...
