Hey! Author here! I actually got around to working on Dragon Keeper! ... Erm... actually... the truth is... it's the last weekend of the school year and there was nothing good on TV... but still... I do have the time for once! XD Usually I'm going around my house and my grandparent's house or hanging out with my friends and don't really have much time to just sit and do my own thing.

Anyways... here's Chapter 8!

Johnathan flops down on the bed he slept in back in chapter 2.

Johnathan: *gasp* That was... *pant* way to tiring...

Elora: Head... hurts... must... get Advil!

Karen's hair is standing on end from the electricity.

Karen: Hey... anyone got a brush... or some bounce?

[Note: For those with constant problems with hair concerning static electricity, rub bounce, the fabric softener thingys, on your brush before brushing your hair! It will remove the static!]

Shawn's arms are covered in dirt and mud from his training.

Shawn: Yech! I'm gonna need to take a shower!

Jessica: Hey! No need for that! *She grins from ear to ear as she shoots a blast of water at Shawn*

Shawn: ACK!!! *He crashes into the wall and leaves a Shawn shaped imprint there*

Renee: Ooo! I'll help! I'll dry you off! *She takes a deep breath and blows all over Shawn's wet clothes*

Jessica turns to the other three.

Jessica: You guys need showers too?

Johnathan: No!

Karen: Nope!

Elora: Nu-uh!

Shawn manages to stand up and starts to walk around the room dizzily.

Shawn: Oh, look! The beef jerky's having a parade! Wait! Come back so I can eat you! *Falls over onto his face*

But little did the friends know, that someone was watching them through the window... but this time... it wasn't Rashujo...

2 hrs later

Shawn sits up and rubs his head.

Shawn: Ow... what happened?

He looks around, he is in his bed in Aronada, the others all lying on their own beds, all asleep. He gets up, and quietly leaves the room and goes outside. Looking up at the sky, he can see Aronada's moons (that's right! MOONS! There's 3 of `em!) He looks some more to see if he can find some familiar constellations, but find none that he recognizes. A twig cracks behind him, he turns to find no one there. Shrugging it off, he turns back to the sky. A couple minutes later, he hears screams and shouts coming from where the others slept.

Running back inside, he finds Johnathan on the floor holding his left arm which had a large arc shaped gash cut into it. Karen is ripping off a long strip sheet to tie around his wound before he loses too much blood. Elora has her eyes shut tight and is rubbing her temples, looking to be in pain from something.

Shawn: What happened? Where's Jessica and Renee?

Elora looks up, a bruise on her cheek, and like Johnathan's cut, was in the shape of an arc.

Elora: Someone came in... and...

She cringes and resumes rubbing her temples.

He turns to Karen, the only one of the three who seemed not to be hurt in some way. She sits wrapping the ripped sheet around Johnathan's arm.

Shawn: What happened?

Karen looks up, a small cut on her forehead had a trail of blood leading from it that went into and came out at the side of her eyebrow.

Karen: Someone came and kidnapped Jessica and Renee... they were really... tall... they cut Johnathan with a weird blade, I was knocked down when they came in. I hit the table's corner...

She gestures to a rectangular table in the center of the room.

Karen: Elora was hit with something, I couldn't see it though... it was on their hand when they punched her...

Shawn: But how did this all happen? I came back about 10 seconds after I heard the yelling!

Karen: I dunno... I guess they were moving really fast or something... Couldn't hardly see `em...

Shawn: Dammit...

Karen: CUSSER!!!

She throws a shoe at him, he staggers back a bit.

Shawn: HEY!! What the heck was that all about?!?!

Karen: Well... this scene was a bit too serious for my liking...

Shawn: (bulging nerve) Am I going to have to suffer through this kind of thing throughout all of our time here in Aronada?

Karen: Probably...

Meanwhile

Jessica begins to stir; she looks around and finds Renee next to her on the floor, unconscious. She looks around some more, she is in a room decorated with rainbows all over the walls. Statues of rainbows set up everywhere, fountains in the shape of rainbows, gold rainbows, etc.

Jessica: (thinking) Dang... if I've been kidnapped... then my kidnappers must be really wimpy or something.

Renee wakes up a few minutes later, she looks around, sees all of the rainbowish things, and then...

Renee: WHEEE!!! MY FANTASY HAS COME TRUE!!!

Jessica: O_o;;

Renee: Oh! Hi, Jessica!

Jessica stares at Renee and begins to slowly back away

Renee: Hey... where is this place? How'd we get here?

Jessica continues to slowly scoot backwards until she bumps into something. She looks up to see a rainbow colored man wearing a towel around his waist. She is immediately disgusted... considering it was not his face she saw first. She gets up and runs as fast as she can to a trashcan decorated, as all other things in the room, with rainbows.

While Jessica vomits, Renee turns to the brightly colored man. His hair and eyes seem to be the only parts of him that are not rainbow. Seeing as most hair dyes don't come in rainbow and not many Rainbow colored contact lenses are out and about on Earth and probably not on Aronada either.

Renee: Where are we?

The man looks at Renee, who is trying her best to look extremely innocent, which isn't hard, due to her having a lot of practice. He smiles.

Man: We have brought you and your vomiting friend to Thymadia.

Renee: Thymadia?

Man: Yes, it is home to us, the Thymidans!

Jessica looks up briefly

Jessica: Isn't that slightly redundant?

Man: What?

Jessica: ... nevermind...

She returns back to filling up the trashcan

Renee: So... um... who are you?

Man: My name is Gujom, I am the leader of all Thymidans!

Renee: Ooo! This'll be an interesting one! Gujom, Gujom, Bo-Bujom! Banana Fana Fo Fujom! Mi Mi Mo Mujom! Gujom!

Gujom: What an interesting ceremonial song... you must teach it to me later.

Renee: Okee Dokee!

After a while, Jessica finally stopped throwing up, probably due to the fact that her stomach was completely empty now.

Jessica: Do you have anything to eat around here?

Gujom: Of course! We have the rainbow fruit, rainbow pie, rainbow casserole, rainbow sorbet ice cream...

Jessica: Erm... how about the ice cream... seeing as that's the only thing I've heard of out of all of those foods you just named...

Renee: I'll have one of everything!

Gujom: SPLENDID!!!

Boy, would Renee regret making that order!

When the food was brought to the two girls, it turned out that everything there was super sized! Except for the ice cream! So, Jessica stayed normal after the meal, but Renee turned out with a huge belly from all of the food! As to quote Peter Griffin of Family Guy: "Everyone leave, I have to poop... NOW!!!"

While Renee was *ahem* getting rid of the extra weight, Jessica turned to Gujom.

Jessica: Why did you bring us here? And PLEASE tell me it's not because you need women! I plan to stay a virgin into my 20's at least!

Gujom: We have no need for women, we are all asexual!

Gujom looks up to the sky as Jessica vomits, and points up at the cloudless sky.

Gujom: We wish you to make... rain.

Jessica: Come again?

Gujom: Rain!

Jessica: ... and... why?

Gujom: We bow to the great rainbows! We worship them, but no rain has come, leaving the skies with no rainbows. One of my scouts saw you through the window of your room. He saw how you soaked the fairer skinned man and then dried him off without so much as touching him!

Jessica: Fairer skinned?

Gujom: The other has skin of dark... does he not?

Jessica: Well... yeah, but...

Gujom: Ah! I am right! Who is your father! Uh huh! Uh huh! Who is your father!

Jessica stares at Gujom, her eye twitching from the shock.

Gujom: What? Did I say something wrong?

Renee comes back out of the restroom, back to her normal size.

Renee: Phew! Do not go in there!

She looks at Jessica who's still staring at Gujom, her eye still twitching.

Renee: So... what's up?

Back with the others

Hano paces the floor while Karen, Elora, and Johnathan describe to Shawn what they saw during the kidnappings.

Shawn: Hold it, hold it... you're trying to tell me that 2 rainbow colored guys burst through the window, kidnapped Jessica and Renee, punched and stabbed the three of you, went back out through the window, and got away?

Elora: Yeah...

Karen: Uh-huh...

Johnathan: Pretty much...

Shawn: *sigh* Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only halfway normal one around here...

Elora: Oh, yeah! Tell that to that picture you drew of me of me sneezing and my boobs flying off the page, coming to the other side of the page, and smacking me in the back of the head!

Shawn: Hehehe... my finest moment...

Karen: Except for the fact that you drew a similar picture on my art folder.

Karen's eyes narrow as she looks at Shawn.

Shawn: Um... uh... hehe...

Hano: Please cease the bickering, I am trying to remember where the Thymidan village is.

Elora: (raising an eyebrow) Bickering?

Johnathan: Thymidan village?

Hano: Yes, Thymidans are people who worship rainbows and in their worshipping paint themselves the colors of the rainbow.

Elora: F-R-E-A-K-S! Hey!

Johnathan: What the heck was that?

Elora: Shut up! I'm making my own version of the Old McDonald song!

Shawn: I'll force you to be in another story with Dilandau if you don't be quiet, Elora!

Elora: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Johnathan hits Elora, but his increased strength causes her to go flying backwards and crash through a wall.

Johnathan: Whoops. *Feigning innocence*

Shawn: Woah... nice shot.

As the 4 others go out through the hole in the wall to find Elora, they find her next to a trail of rainbow colored footprints.

Karen: Needless to say, it's going to be easy to find them...

Shawn: *konks Karen on the head* No shit Sherlock!

Karen: Ow! *hits her fist into Shawn's chest*

Shawn: OW!

Karen: Serves you right

Karen sticks her tongue out at him as he rubs his sore chest.

Johnathan has fun pulling the branches back and releasing them in the others faces as they follow the brightly colored trail of footprints.

Elora: DAMMIT JOHNATHAN!!! WOULD YOU STOP THAT?!?!

Elora uses her psychic abilities to cause one of the branches to fly the opposite way and hit Johnathan in the back.

Johnathan: HEY!

Elora: MWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!

Hano turns to Shawn

Hano: She is quite good at that evil laughter, isn't she?

Shawn: Yep, just be glad she's on our side... well... mostly on our side anyways...

Elora: Hey!

Shawn looks away innocently as Elora lunges at him and begins to claw up his arms with her freakishly sharp nails (they really do hurt T_T)

Shawn: OW!!! HEY!!!

Shawn kicks Elora in the shin

Elora: Why, you!

Elora kicks out but is stopped as Shawn grabs her leg, forcing her to hop continuously to keep from falling.

Karen: Whoot!

Karen pulls out a chair, sits down, and watches as this hopping and leg grabbing goes on.

Johnathan and Karen begin making bets as to who will win this battle, Hano, however, just stares, wondering what the heck they're doing.

Hano: Erm... excuse me? Uh, aren't we supposed to be looking for Jessica and Renee?

Shawn: *gasp* You're right!

He lets go of Elora's leg as she is trying to grab him by the throat causing her to lose her balance and fall over.

Karen: YES! I WIN!!!

Johnathan: ...crap...

Karen: Pay up!

They continue down the trail, hoping to find Jessica and Renee in one piece... little do they know it, but soon, another member of their group will be taken away by the Thymidans!

Hey! I finally finished Chapter 8! Yay!

In the next chapter, a third member will be taken away! But which one is it? Also, their trail of footprint ends with none of their friends at the end of it! How are they going to find their missing friends now?
