Chapter: 15 - The Only Way To Get Rid Of A Temptation Is To Yield To It

A/N: Be warned! This is a very citrus filled chapter, so pucker up!!

Upon watching the hobbits begin to swiftly devour the sweet creation that Kimber and Felicity had prepared, the rest of the group quickly made their way over so that they could also sample a taste. Well everyone with the exception of Haldir, who remained seated and looked on as the two fairies proceeded to hand feed those who gathered around them.

Having lost his bow to the dwarf, who now was prancing about the camp with a smirk on his face, coupled with thoughts of Felicity, he was more than irritated. How could she do this to him?! How could she even consider that halfling over him? He was the March Warden of the Golden Wood, for Valar's sake! A mighty warrior, strong and brave! How could Frodo compare to that? Certainly he could not protect Felicity in fact it was quite the contrary as he only brought evil everywhere he went.

Haldir looked at the two now cuddled close together, laughing at the jokes being told by the dwarf. They were making fun of him, no doubt! He felt his anger rise. How dare they!

He quickly stood up and made his way over to them. "Ah, I see that everyone is enjoying themselves this evening!" he commented rather arrogantly, as he gave Felicity and Frodo an icy stare.

"Yes, Haldir, and we thank you and the sentinels for all of the kindness you have show us," Aragorn offered as he watched him closely, unsure of the warden's intentions.

"Good!" Haldir chimed as he walked over and stood behind Felicity and Frodo. "And how is my fair Felicity feeling?" Haldir questioned her in a dangerous tone.

Felicity, not one to be intimidated so easily, looked up at him, "I am just fine, couldn't be better!" as she gave him cynical grin, wondering what could have possibly crawled up his ass to make him behave in such a way.

"Really?" Haldir glared back, "And how about you, halfling?" as he switched his gaze to Frodo.

Frodo sat speechless looking back up at him; he could not understand why Haldir was acting so strangely, "I am fine Haldir," he offered finally.

The rest of group grew silent as they all now focused their attention on the scene unfolding in front of them.

"Yes, I felt you would be!" Haldir answered sharply, "Though why shouldn't you, it is not as if you have to worry about anything!" he let out a sickening laugh.

Frodo eyes never left his as they continued stare at one another, "Haldir is there something the matter?" he asked cautiously.

"Why I am glad that you asked, because there is!" Haldir's grin was replaced with a scowl, "I do not like it when someone, such as yourself; Frodo, depends on others to protect them. Especially when they carry an evil that threatens the very lives of those doing so!"

"Haldir!" Felicity yelled standing to face him.

"Silence Felicity!" Haldir commanded in a tone so threatening that she was thrown off guard. Quickly, he grabbed her forearm and drew her close to him, "Do you not see, Melamin, what danger he brings to you!" he whispered before returning his glare to Frodo.

"Hear this Frodo, I will no longer allow you to bring harm to my family. You have already done enough damage here as many great sentinels have lost their lives protecting you from whatever hunts you and that evil thing you carry!" he peered at the hobbit then looked to Felicity whom he held closer now.

Frodo felt the guilt flow throughout his body as he took each word that Haldir spoken to heart. He lowered his head and tried to hold back the tears that now were trying to escape from his eyes.

The others remained silent for a moment as they were all in shock at Haldir's outburst.

"You have no right to be speakin' to Mister Frodo that way!" Sam jumped up and ran over to Haldir, positioning himself between him and Frodo.

"I can speak to whom I like anyway that I like!" Haldir sneered, "Don't forget, halfling, whose forest you are in!"

"Haldir enough!" came Aragorn's voice in a reprimanding tone. He along with Legolas, Gimli and Boromir stood and approached Haldir.

"Oh I see Aragorn. I thought that you were of noble stature but I see now that you do not fight fairly as it is four against one!" Haldir hissed at him.

"No, you're wrong, it is six against one!" Merry threatened Haldir as he and Pippin now stood along side the others.

"Merry hold your tongue!" Aragorn scolded, "You are not helping matters any. We do not wish to fight with anyone," Aragorn now looked back to the elf, "Haldir, we have been in your company for the past few days and we appreciate all you have done for us! The last thing we want now is to cause harm to you!"

Haldir stood silent; pulling Felicity closer with each second that passed; as though she were a security blanket.

"I understand that you are upset over your men losing their lives but I ask that you not blame Frodo. His road is already a long and dark one. He knows what it feels like to lose those you care for, in fact we all do," Aragorn paused and motioned around him to the remainder of the fellowship.

"He holds a great responsibility and does not mean to bring danger to anyone, for that is the last thing he wants! He has volunteered his life to save all of Middle-earth and we, the fellowship, have pledged our lives to help him fulfill such a task." Aragorn paused as he looked at Haldir with soft eyes, "Please do not make his burden greater than it already is."

The group remained still as they watched Haldir. Kimber, who stood back from the rest, took the moment to go and free Felicity from Haldir's grasp. Slowly she began to remove the arm that had its self firmly wrapped around Felicity's waist, her eye's never leaving Haldir's. He offered Kimber a look of helplessness as she pulled her sister away from him. He looked then to Felicity with eyes full of lament.

"You wait here," Kimber brought her sister over to where Legolas was standing; Felicity was a might rattled by Haldir's erratic behavior and was glad to see Legolas offering her a reassuring smile.

Kimber approached Haldir once more. For the first time in her life she did not fear him. It must have been that look he had given her. She actually felt pity for him and she knew that there was more to his outburst than just the danger that Frodo bore with him.

"Aragorn?" Kimber turned to him, "May I speak with Haldir alone?"

Aragorn, along with everyone else, was a little shocked at Kimber's suggestion, "Kimber I do not think…"Aragorn began, looking at the two standing before him, Kimber small and delicate; Haldir towering and strong.

"Please Aragorn, I will be fine," she pleaded softly.

Aragorn looked to Legolas, who though looked unsure of the situation, nodded his head in agreement. "As you wish, my lady," Aragorn conceded as he and the rest of the fellowship backed away to give Kimber and Haldir privacy.

Kimber turned back to Haldir who now wore a blank expression on his face. She smiled tenderly at him as she extended her hand for him to take, "Come Haldir, let us walk for a bit."

Haldir stood motionless for a moment before looking down to see Kimber smiling at him. Without words, he slowly reached out and took hold of the hand she had offered to him.

"Thank you," Kimber spoke gently, as she led him away from the camp.

"Whew," Pippin sighed, "For a minute there I thought I was going to have to kick some elf butt!" he wiped the sweat from his brow.

"Well, thankfully for us all you did not," Merry huffed at his comrade.

"I was afraid that this was going to happen," Aragorn sighed; noting that Haldir's demeanor was steadily changing for the worst with each second Felicity and Frodo spent together. He looked over to Legolas who was talking to Felicity; she looked well as he joked with her about `elf envy' as it were. Then he looked to the others instinctively making sure that all were present and accounted for; okay Kimber was gone but she was with Haldir, Merry and Pippin were fighting over a piece of chocolate-didn't take long for them to get over the drama. Sam had found a piece of chicken to chew on, Boromir was sitting on a nearby log mumbling to himself-surprise surprise, Gimli was toying with his new bow and Frodo was…Frodo was…nowhere in sight…

"Frodo?!" Aragorn called out. He received no answer. "Frodo?!" he yelled a little louder, a hush came over the fellowship now as all eyes turned to Aragorn.

"Strider, where is Mister Frodo?" Sam stood up in a panic.

"Sam I was hoping that maybe you could tell me that," he replied now looking anxiously around the camp.

"Aragorn?" Legolas stood up and walked over to where he was.

"Legolas, do you see him?" They paused for a moment as Legolas perused the campsite.

"No. I do not," a look of worry came over him now.

"Gimli, Boromir, split up and look for Frodo, hobbits you…"Aragorn began.

"Strider, I'm going with you," Sam insisted.

"No Sam, you and the hobbits stay here just and case he returns," Aragorn replied; Sam offered him a look of lament but obliged. He looked on helplessly as the others dispersed.

"Well since we're stuck here, we might as well make use of all this good food," Pippin insisted.

"Pip, how can you possibly think of food at a time like this?" Merry huffed.

"Yes, with poor Mister Frodo out there all alone scared and what not?!" Sam agreed.

"Well, quite honestly Mer, how can I not; look around; chicken, apples, carrots, chocolate, mashed potatoes…" he rubbed his tummy as he picked up a few items to nibble on.

"Where? I didn't see mashed potatoes," Sam looked over to see the two now stuffing their faces heartily. "Hey leave a little for me," he insisted taking a seat next to them.

"Hey where are you going, Felicity?" Merry inquired as she stood up and headed toward a clearing in the wood.

"To look for Frodo," she replied.

"Now listen, don't you go wandering off," Sam insisted.

She walked over to where he sat readying to have his way with a stack of chicken legs.

"Sam I know this forest well, I will not get lost, in fact I venture to say that I know them better than those you travel with; I will find Frodo," she assured him.

"Miss Felicity," Sam stood to her now, "Please go, and hurry, I just couldn't bear the thought of him all alone out there," he sighed.

"Yes, especially with all of this food right here," Pippin gave her a cheeky smile causing Merry to elbow him heartily.

Frodo took refuge behind a tree he wondered if it were best if he simply sneaked out during the night. He was frightened now as he sat there alone and in the darkness. He should not have gone off in such a way, surely the others were worried and quite frankly he had no idea how to get back to camp. In his hasty retreat he hadn't even thought to grab a torch or anything that would give off light. He looked around now; barely able to make out images he froze as he heard a rustling in the distance.

"Frodo?" he exhaled deeply relieved to hear a familiar voice.

"Yes Felicity, I am over here," he looked over as her could now see a faint light, she was carrying what appeared to be a small candle, or perhaps it was a torch.

"Frodo, please do not worry," she spoke softly to him. He was suddenly unnerved by her presence and turned away from her.

"Felicity, please, I am okay you do not have to stay here, go back to the others," he insisted though he quickly rethought that notion, if she were to leave the light would go with her.

"Frodo?" she thought back to the scene and how must of looked; how was she going to downplay that? "Please pay no attention to Haldir, he is very upset about the invasion," she continued.

He wasn't going to offer a reply but found the words leaving his lips just the same. "Why did he do that to you, why did he pull you away from me Felicity? I would never hurt you," he still would not look at her instead he looked upon the ring around his neck; for a moment he thought of just ripping it from his neck and throwing it into the darkness.

"He is angry Frodo and this quest is contingent upon you, melamin. A little hard to swallow for someone who is usually the center of attention, that is why he is lashing out at you. He only involved me because I was the closest one to you at the time," she lied.

"Felicity, you do know that I would never do you any harm," he looked at her now, eyes blue and sincere, "I care for you deeply," he couldn't believe the words as he was saying them and neither could she.

She sat close to him now; he wished she had not as suddenly he was overcome with feelings for her. He longed to kiss her once more but he dared not for fear of repercussions.

Felicity was more brazen as she gently cupped his face and kissed his lips, he pressed his harder into hers and she opened her eyes with surprise. Surely not wanting to be outdone and perhaps simply to spite Haldir, she kissed again, only this time she parted his lips with her tongue and gingerly explored the depths of his mouth.

**********

Haldir gazed up at the first stars that began to appear in the night sky. He had not spoken a word to Kimber since they had left the others back at the camp. The two had walked for a few moments when they're path led them to a small isolated spring. Kimber found a large rock and perched herself upon it while she sat observing him in silence.

`Oh what a day it has been!' she thought to herself, for today seemed to be the day that if anything was going to go wrong it did! She let out a small sigh as she looked at Haldir once more. There was definitely something other than Frodo's quest that was bothering him and she had the sneaky suspicion that it had to do with her sister.

She had witnessed a few occasions which left no doubt in her mind that the two still had feelings for one another, but they were both very stubborn, set in their ways and worst of all; proud.

Kimber leaned back on her elbows and stared up at the sky for a moment as she went over the scene that had taken place earlier. What could have happened to push Haldir over the edge? She remembered Gimli prancing around with Haldir's bow as he boasted about winning some bet. No, that couldn't be it! It may have riled him up a bit but not enough to make him go to such extremes.

Felicity and Frodo had been staying around each other a lot more lately; especially after the incident when they had both disappeared and if Kimber had noticed it there was no doubt that Haldir did as well. Perhaps so much so, that after seeing them feeding one another, Haldir must have been consumed with so much jealousy he just lost it.

Kimber sat back up and noticed that Haldir was now sitting down, his head bowed low.

She did feel sorry for him, though being as pig-headed as he was by the way he treated Felicity at times, he was part to blame for his situation.

"Haldir," Kimber called to him, though he did not acknowledge her, "I know that you and I do not know each other too well and we have had a our run-ins in the past so I will understand if you feel uncomfortable talking to me." Kimber looked to see that his face remained without expression.

"Okay, well I guess I will do the talking then," Kimber sighed, "But please feel free to correct me if I say anything that is not right." He still remained silent.

"I sense that you have strong feelings for my sister and perhaps you have felt a little threatened by Frodo and his growing relationship with her." Kimber paused waiting for a reaction though nothing, save a sigh, was received.

"Now unfortunately, Felicity, she is being…well… Felicity; But can you blame her for her actions, Haldir? You must admit that you do not show her with much affection, I have rarely seen you even offer her a smile. I do not know what you are afraid of but it seems as though you want to drive her away from you!" She paused for a moment now as she was becoming irritated as she recalled Haldir's so-called treatment of her sister. She took in a deep breath to regain her composure.

"I know that if I was in your position I would probably feel the same way, but if I may offer you a bit of advice," Kimber paused when hearing Haldir exhale slowly.

"You need to be more open with your feelings and drop that `March Warden' attitude that you seem to carry," she offered bluntly.

Getting up off of the rock, she walked over to him, "I am not sure if what I have said to you has helped. I can only hope that you were listening to me," Kimber kneeled down in front of him and placed her hand on the side of his cheek.

"Haldir, you must realize that just because you are the March Warden of the Golden Wood does not mean that you have to hide your feelings for those you love," she spoke softly.

"For how will they know that you care for them if you do not show it," she smiled lightly at him and noticed a slight twinkle in his eyes before she stood back up. "Well I best be getting back to the camp," she said as she turned to walk away.

She had not gone too far when she suddenly stopped to look back at him, "There is one more thing that I must say to you before I leave."

Haldir stood up and made his way over to her, "Yes?" he replied, his tone soft and even.

Kimber was taken back by this to say the least, "I am sorry for the arrow incident," she had wanted to apologize long before now but felt it was an appropriate moment.

"Kimber, there is no need to apologize; you were only being a noble sister; though I forgive you just the same," He smiled slightly before turning from her and heading back in the direction of the spring.

She watched him walk off into the distance until she could see him no more.

**********

"Felicity?!" Frodo gasped, "What was that?!" he smiled. She laughed at him as he pulled his tongue out of his mouth with his fingers, "Where did you learn that?" he paused before smiling at her impishly, "Can we do it again?!" She moved in close again and was about to grant his request when she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was Kimber.

"What goes on here between the two of you," she raised a brow, "I hope that I have not disturbed you." Though she was confident that she had disturbed them and just in time. Perhaps Haldir's suspicions were correct, there was something peculiar about Felicity's relationship with Frodo.

"No we were just talking," Frodo insisted.

"Um yes, just talking," Felicity agreed with him before standing and looking her sister in the eye. Kimber didn't know quite what to make of the situation.

"Well, then why don't you two continue `talking' while we venture back to camp. We wouldn't want to repeat events past," Kimber smiled thinking of the turmoil they had all endured days ago at the hand of Felicity and Frodo's excursions.

The sight bestowed upon them as they neared camp was not a pretty one. Sam lay in a heap rubbing his stomach with three hefty piles of chicken bones strewn about the ground next to him. Merry and Pippin didn't look much better as their faces revealed signs of a gluttonous mashed potato binge coupled with chocolate.

"Have enough to eat did ya?" Felicity walked over to Pippin and patted his belly,

"Oooh," he moaned, for the first time he wished he hadn't eaten so much.

"Best be off to bed with you, Poopy. You won't do us any good here," Felicity sighed as she looked around at the mess the hobbits made, "and they say fairies are mischievous!" she giggled as Sam and the others made their way over to the sleeping mats.

"Aren't you?" Frodo smiled at her now, thinking of their kiss behind the tree, as he helped in picking up what few scraps of food were left behind.

"I will take these far from camp, so animals do not come to call tonight," Felicity offered.

"Did you hear that, Pip?" Merry's eyes widened. "Wild animals?"

"Perhaps we should sleep in the trees tonight," He suggested.

"Aw, come on now, guys I don't wanna go up in them trees again, I don't like heights, one of these days we're gonna fall right off of them floors, I just know it," Sam sighed as he watched the others head for the ladder.

"Well we're goin Sam, have fun with the bears," Pippin teased as he climbed up to the talans. With that remark Sam wasted no time in following them.

Kimber looked on for a moment and laughed at her friends, how she was going to miss them. "I figure I will take Sam's pots down to the stream and give them a good washing," Kimber sighed now turning her attention to the hefty stack of plates around her.

"Do not fret Kimber, I will give you a hand," Frodo offered, picking up a few pots and pans along with her as Felicity headed off into the woods. He returned a few moments later.

"Now you see that," Frodo sighed, "Many hands make for light work," he smiled as he saw Felicity returning. He was glad that they were alone.

"Where is Kimber?" she gave him a concerned look now.

"She is washing the last of the pots, she said that she will be along shortly," he smiled at her. Tossing her a strawberry, which she quickly popped into her mouth.

"Who will be along shortly?" Frodo looked up to see Legolas approaching the camp now.

"Where have you been?" Frodo inquired of the elf.

"I have been looking for you Frodo," Legolas sighed.

"Well here I am," he smiled "though I was just about to leave and take this pot of leftover chocolate and fruit to Kimber to wash."

"Please Frodo, stay here. I will take the pot," Legolas picked up said pot and what fruit was left in the basket sitting next to it, "Felicity, please keep Frodo here, and keep an eye on him," he insisted.

"It would be my pleasure," she smiled looking after Legolas as he ventured into the wood.

*********

"Ah do my eyes deceive me or am I looking upon the fairest woman in the land," Legolas smiled. Kimber looked up rather embarrassed with her appearance, as she had been kneeling there by the stream scrubbing away at the pots with a rag.

"They do, tis nothing fair about a washwoman?" she blushed.

"Not only the fairest washwoman, but a washwoman who is capable of taming the likes of Haldir's ego," he paused, "You never cease to amaze me, my dear Kimber."

"While I am flattered by your words Legolas, I am afraid that there is nothing amazing about me," she offered him a smile before glancing at her attire. Her hair was disheveled and her dress damp from washing dishes. She was sure that her appearance was anything but pleasing to the eye.

"Well to me you are amazing!" he smiled, "Come, let us rest for a bit," he held out his hand to her.

"Though I must admit that your invitation sounds tempting, I am afraid that I really must get these pots washed," she motioned to the dishes in her hand.

He took them from her, "They will still be dirty when we are through," he smiled, tossing them on the ground and offering her his hand once more.

Seeing his persistence, she took hold of his hand and he led her over to a small patch of grass.

"Please sit," he motioned to the ground, she obliged but not before he stopped her for a moment so that he could spread out his cloak for the two of them to sit on.

"And to what do I owe such a visit?" she was a little more comfortable with him now, not much but a little, as she offered him a smile.

"It has been too long since we have spent time together…alone," he finished the thought.

"It has been less than two hours," Kimber replied.

"That is too long," he insisted gazing into her eyes now.

Feeling a little uneasy, she motioned to the pot he had in his hand, "Did you bring me more dishes to wash?" she chuckled.

"Well it seems with all the ruckus going on I managed to miss out on dessert, perhaps you could join me?" he propositioned her as he dipped a strawberry in the dark liquid and brought it to her lips.

Though a little reserved about eating such a messy delicacy in front of him she obliged, sighing to herself, as she could feel chocolate dribbling down her face. Kimber reached for the rag she had been washing the dishes with before he stopped her.

"Please do not put such an untidy cloth on such a lovely face," he whispered, drawing his lips to her face, he kissed the side of her mouth removing any hint of the sweet syrup.

"Mmm…delicious," he whispered now looked upon her. The moon had taken its position in the sky only an hour before and its brightness illuminated her delicate features. Her eyes were still closed as he brought his lips to hers once more, cupping her face with his gentle hand; he guided her body down upon his cloak with the other.

Kimber sighed, as his kisses were long and deep, his tongue exploring every inch of her mouth as he caressed her neck with his fingers.

"Legolas," she exhaled deeply as he now brought his tender lips to her neck and moved his hands over her breasts. How she wanted to feel his hands on her bare flesh now as he kissed lips once more. Her eyes, once closed, now opened suddenly as he moved over her. Kimber could feel him pressed hard against her thigh. She gasped at the thought of his arousal, and it pleased her to think that she has awakened such a desire within him. However, thought process gave way to ecstasy now as he stroked the area above her pubis, mindful to keep a barrier of fabric between his fingers and the intimate area he yearned to explore. Legolas' kisses became more profound now as he probed and searched the depths of her mouth hungrily now as his inhibitions were beginning to leave him.

He eased himself off of her so as not to cause any alarm. He was losing control of himself now and knew that if he allowed himself to go much further there would be no turning back. That was a step that he was not sure the both of them were willing to take at this time. Kimber looked up at him knowingly. The forbidden fruit was getting harder to resist and although she did not want him to, she knew his cessation was necessary.

Haldir undressed, placed his bow and arrow on the ground and entered the tepid waters. His mind was clouded with many things at the moment; Felicity, his prized bow, the dwarf, Felicity, Kimber's observation…and Felicity. He lay back in the waters and looked up at the night sky for a moment before jerking up suddenly at a rustling sound. He took refuge behind a rock, sunk down in the waters, ceasing to breathe and waited.

"Are you sure that it is safe?" came a feminine voice from the shore.

"Of course it is do you see anyone here?" said a second voice.

"Well, no alright then," the first voice offered once more. Haldir peeked around the rock and bestowed upon two lovely elf maidens totting a bottle of wine. He did not recognize them and wondered why two lovelies such as these were out and about at this hour.

"Fair maidens such as yourselves should not be out during this time of night," he grinned now swimming out into full view. They made no haste in covering their nakedness, much to his delight.

"This must be the March Warden of the Golden Wood," one of the maidens offered.

"By what means do you say that, my lovelies, for I am he," he replied coyly.

"Oh we already gathered that, whom else wood you be?" he looked upon the elf-maiden, her beauty was breath-taking with hair that resembled the color of fresh spun gold and eyes of emerald as she inched closer to the waters now.

"March Warden," the other purred, tossing her champagne colored tresses off of her shoulders, "You don't mind if we share this spring with you, do you?"

He smiled at the two of them and shook his head, "No I do not mind, my sweets," he replied.

"Please let us help in bathing you, surely your are weary, as your burden is great," the first maiden offered as she approached him in the springs bringing with her the bottle of elvish wine. The other followed close behind now.

"I have been tending to my duties, you know being a March Warden is of no small responsibility," he offered arrogantly before taking a swig from the bottle.

"Then it is the least we can do for you as payment for protecting our borders and ensuring our safety."

Suffice to say he was eating up all of this well-deserved attention as they began to seduce him.

One whispered to him suggestively as the other brushed the tip of his ear with her bare breast; having been denied his desires by Felicity who pretended to be asleep last night coupled with all of the grief she had caused him, this was just what he needed. And yet even as he could feel himself falling into temptation he thought of the words Kimber had spoken to him earlier.

**********

"Well I am glad that everyone is finally all present and accounted for," Aragorn motioned to Kimber and Legolas as they made their way back to camp.

Felicity and Frodo, who were now huddled together sharing a blanket, looked first at each other, then to the two then back at one another once more; knowing full well that it doesn't take that long to simply wash dishes.

"Well with the exception of the sentinels," Aragorn was speaking specifically to Legolas, "If it would please you, Legolas, I will take the first watch if you take the second," he offered.

"Yes, Aragorn, it is of no issue," Legolas replied.

"The hobbits are up in the flets, and Gimli and Boromir have decided to sleep over there, where I will be taking my rest as well when my watch concludes, good evening, all," he bowed his head and walked away from the four taking his post for the eve, "Oh and Frodo please try to control your urge to go exploring," he raised a brow at the hobbit.

"Come on Felicity, Aragorn is right, we need to get our rest, lest we will be dragging along again tomorrow," Frodo stood up and offered her a hand, which she took. He led her over to the ladder and looked on as she carefully ascended.

Though an amiable gesture, Frodo's attentiveness to Felicity suddenly brought a worried look to Legolas' face. Perhaps this was the root of Haldir's detest for the hobbit. He would have to make note to keep a watchful eye on him tomorrow as they continued on their journey to Caras Galhadon. Consequences for any infidelity at the hand of the March Warden might prove to be worse than any punishment the nazgul could dish out. His exaggerated notion was interrupted as Kimber, now seeing that they were alone, took the opportunity to kiss him gently on the lips, to which he responded by pressing his firmly into hers.

"Sleep with me tonight," he whispered into her ear as he held her in a tight embrace. She thought for a moment before looking up at the flet.

"I can not, Legolas, for I promised Merry and Pippin that I would spend my last eve with them, I hope you understand," she apologized.

"I understand," he smiled at her kind-heartedness, "Goodnight, Kimber," he conceded.

"Good night," she whispered before climbing the ladder to the flet.

"Kimber what are you doing?" Felicity asked as she watched her sister snuggle between Merry and Pippin. "You are you not coming up here with me?" she continued, hoping that Kimber would join her.

"Well, I just wanted to spend one more night with my hobbits," she smiled at her sister.

"You are too funny," despite her issues it was nice to see her sister in better spirits after all that had happened that day.

"Come on Felicity, don't you want to cuddle with us?" Merry smiled.

She took one look at his hairy feet. "Um, no thanks," she replied as she made her way to the second landing. She shook her head at the three down below; the thought of her sister and those two knuckleheads brought a smile to her face. She would certainly make it a point to take Kimber to the Shire; perhaps for her birthday, she thought to herself as she yawned. But that was another day, for right now she felt tired, bloated and nauseous-perhaps as result of her chocolate binge coupled with a double dose of Haldir's arrogance; and was finally able to take her rest.

Felicity awoke a few hours later to the touch of someone's hand on her thigh, the aroma of elven wine and something else that she could not quite put her finger on. She opened her eyes just a little, so as not to give away that fact that she was awake, to see that Haldir was lying beside her rubbing his hand up and down her leg. The pungent aroma, though enticing in an unusual sort of way, was on his breath as he whispered to her...

"Nae saian luume' amin merna lle sii (It has been too long, I want you now)," he insisted.

Boy he had some nerve! She closed her eyes again and pretended to be asleep though it was hard to control her urges as he ran his tongue along her ear. Now why did he have to go and do that? She knew why of course, in as much as she despised him at the moment, he knew how to seduce her with his words and with his touch and now he knew it and was using it to his full advantage. `Be strong,' she thought to herself.

"Amin sinta lle n'uma quell (I know that you are not sleeping) Felicity," he whispered. She could feel him moving over her now; his bare skin against hers as he nestled his strong body in between her thighs. Her eyes were still closed when she felt his lips upon hers. She could taste the sweetness of wine berries on his lips for a moment before he kissed her neck tenderly and sighed.

"Ona a'ta amin, (give it to me), ona a'ta amin, sii (give it to me now)," he whispered as he kissed her neck once more. She could feel his excitement now growing with each second as he caressed her soft skin. She let out a sigh as he kissed her provocatively down her neck then across her breasts. He paused for a moment taking time to encircle the firm peaks of her nipples with his skillful tongue. She tried to control her breathing but it was hard as she felt his lips move across her abdomen. Her eyes shot open as his tongue flickered down to her most intimate area.

"Haldir?!" she gasped. He lifted his head, "Oh, I am glad to see you have awakened," he smiled coyly before allowing his tongue to explore her deep crevices once more.

"Mmm," she purred with gratification as she reached down and rubbed the tips of his ears. She could feel them becoming warmer and his erection becoming harder as she stroked them with her velvety fingers.

He quickly brought his lips up to hers and kissed her hungrily exploring her mouth with his tongue. Now satisfied with his manipulation, his body was now firm between her thighs and he was about to enter her when suddenly she mustered what little strength she had sending them both tumbling off of the hammock, to the floor. She was now on top of him. He looked upon her in disbelief for a moment and opened his mouth to speak when she silenced him with a kiss upon his lips before looking him in the eye. "Lle desiel, amin belegohtar? (Are you ready my mighty warrior?)," she whispered before kissing him again. He reached up and ran his fingers through her raven colored locks, "Uma, amin desiel, A'maelamin, (Yes, I am ready, my beloved)."

She moved over him quickly and straddled his hardness causing him to moan in euphoria; surely he had not expected this. Felicity grinded against body as he brought her voluptuous breasts to his mouth; she winced for only a moment but then soon reveled in the delightful sensation as his soft lips felt delicious upon her tender nipples. He sighed with satisfaction as she continued to pleasure him for what seemed like many hours, though only one had passed.

"Uuma putta, (don't stop)," he gasped now. It excited her even more to think that she was able to have such an affect on The Warden, as she obliged tightening her grip on his shaft. His hands now moved to her bottom and guided her movements harder into his body; causing her to moan with each thrust.

The both of them were now so engulfed in their lovemaking frenzy that they failed to see the two saucer-shaped eyes staring at them over the platform.

"Haldir!," Felicity sighed as her body erupted in delirium; his climax was not far behind as he grasped her firmly by her waist. She watched his dark eyes roll to the back of his head as he pumped his fluid into her once more.

"Pippin!" Merry looked as his friend who was quickly making his way back to his sleeping mat, "are you okay, you look as though you have seen a ghost?" Merry continued.

Pippin shook his head quickly, "No Merry, just heard a noise tis all, I'm okay," he insisted, eyes still as big a saucers, as he lay down and pulled the covers to his chin.

"You had better get some sleep there halfling," He looked over in horror to see Haldir standing near the ladder, having heard footsteps he had come down to check on them.

"Yes, Haldir," Pippin closed his eyes obediently and tried to force sleep.
