By the year 2025 Humanity has expanded to the edge of the solar system. They have just finished development of faster then light travel. By the general laws of physics this is impossible. To achieve such, they generate technology to force open tiny wormholes that exist inside of Black holes, a process know as Starbreaking, and traverse them at speeds faster than light.
In a vast explosion of travel humans search every spec of the universe for the next eleven years. What they find is that they are the only existing sentient race. All others have either been destroyed or have evolved beyond the capacities and laws of the simplistic universe they exist in. Humanity returns to its star and sulks.
A.D. 2038 Timeline Event: The 7 days of Fire - "Demon" is born, and in a short seven days has obliterated nearly all of humanity. The tiny remnants gather around the world called Soa… on the fringe of the Universe. And with the help of their salvaged Glorys, begin a 2000 year struggle against "Demon"
