I get lonelier every passing day.

 

I can't stop thinking of you

You are a mystery to me

An endless impossibility.

 

I don't even know your name

Your face is hazy in my mind

The details are slipping through, they won't bind.

 

Is this just another game of emotions

A silly little infatuation

Cuz I can't see our situation.

 

So when I think of this in time

I'll realize it was never meant to be

You don't even know how to reach me.

 

But the hope will stay inside

That our fates will be enterwined

My wishes with you will not be dried.

 

You are a mystery to me

An endless impossibility.

 

 

Obsessor's Note: Quite sappy, its based on someone I met over break. And I challenged myself with rhyming the last two lines of each stanza. Now you see why I don't usually try to rhyme stuff. Constructive criticism is appreciated, and reviews are loved!
