Excerpt from Sith Princess
Alright! Congratulations for clicking the link that I set up people! I need an opinion, besides all the ones that my other personalities have been giving. Read this story and then tell me if it's worthy of posting on the Internet. It is an Alternate Universe story, none of this is intended to be used for anything remotely Star Wars associated. It's just something that I thought was a good idea to write. Even the Sith need some loving. ~_^
Excerpt: Decisions
Momi hurried down the corridors. What had she done? What was she thinking bending ancient law like that? She was here to kill his master and she let him get close to her?! The first rules of being an assassin were to never reveal your true identity to anyone and distance yourself from potential targets. She had nearly broken the first one and was bending the second with a delicacy that only she could manage. He wasn't even aware of who she was and why she was on Coroscaunt. He had the opportunity to find out, to search her mind when her defenses were down, but his mind was clouded by their infatuation. She couldn't bring herself to tell him the truth.
Thinking about this brought on the thoughts about what had happened just a few moments ago. She stopped, blushing furiously, and touched her lips. That kiss... She shook her head and strode forward, walking faster as her mind brought up all the touches the Sith offered, the pleasure. The safety.
The last thought came to her when she was just outside her doorway and it paralyzed her so completely that she thought that she was going to fall down. Safety. Something that she had been denied her entire life. That thing that an assassin had no used for. Her mentor had stripped her of the innocence that craved safety when she was little; on the day he left her to fight her way out of the Tattooine desert with nothing but a simple pocketless flight suit and her own ingenuity. But Maul awakened the old feeling and gave her a taste of what she missed when she grew up so fast.
She was so confused. Her heart said that she should grab onto the Sith and never let go, but her mind chided her that he would use her and dump her, leaving her career in ruins and her heart in shreds. Momi stepped into her quarters and leaned up against the nearest wall, wrapping her arms around her stomach and bowing her head. She couldn't decide. Which was the right path?
For the first time in her life, she felt tears well up in her eyes and didn't stop them. She closed her eyes and tried to muffle the sobs that begged for escape, shaking uncontrollably as 17 years of fear, confusion, and uncertainty poured out. Finally, she let go and her tears flowed freely out of the sight of the piercing yellow eyes that haunted her thoughts.

Maul was wrestling with his own demons, but crying was not his answer to the complicated problem. Nothing in his life was uncertain. Whatever he was out to do was going to succeed or he was going to die trying. It was the simplest thing in the galaxy. This was no different.
His soul, the very fabric of his being told him that Momi belonged with him and he was willing to listen. He lay on his bed with his arms behind his head and stared at the ceiling for awhile until the rough swirls and random patterns in the grains of the building material began to take on the look of clear grey eyes and a pale face with delicate bone structure.
Abruptly he sat up and rubbed his face tiredly. He had to at least talk to her. He got up and opened his door, walking down the hall until he got to her room. He paused, uncertain as to how to do this. This was all so new to him and that made him a little nervous. He smiled slightly. Look at the high and mighty Darth Maul now, hesitating and uncertain at the doorway of a mere girl! He reached out to activate the door and his hand stopped in midair as he heard someone walking down the hallway. He stopped and began to walk toward the intruder.
His master came into view, walking with a droid and having a conference with the Nemoidians of the Trade Federation. When the transmission ended, Darth Sidious smiled as he saw his apprentice. "Ah," he wheezed, "There you are. I was wondering where you had gotten off to. I have a mission for you and I don't want you to return until you have finished it. This is very important."
Maul bowed and followed his master past Momi's door, sparing a glance back and wondering how long it would take for him to complete the mission and return here to straighten things out with Momi. He sighed softly and turned back around, resignation making his tattooed face menacing.
