Staring up into blankness, eyes open but unseeing

Tears streaming down pale cheeks but unknown,

Eyes blank, voice dead, fleshy shell empty,

Looking up at heaven, starving for truth,

No where near the end, just passed the beginning,

No way of ending, no way to have peace,

The people of the world unknowing what to do…

The world itself cares naught for you,

Darkness uncomforting, darkness tormenting…

Darkness cruel but truthful still…

A distant song carried by the wind forgotten by all the singers…

A dream fading and forgotten by all the dreamers…

A gentle trusting heart shattered, a soul torn apart…

Listening to the shrieking of the violin, singing a song,

Haunting and echoing in eyes open but unseeing.
