Gray eyes glowed with perpetual mirth from the shadows of a grand oak, as they watched a young girl practice fencing. The clearing itself was dimly visible in the orange light of the setting sun, the cool air still but for the occasional rustling of leaves and the constant movement of that one girl. Her own silver eyes shone with fierce determination, her chopped short black hair becoming more mussed with each parry and thrust. Her invisible opponent was tireless, the cycle of their pretend battles never ending.

'But that's not the only invisible person around here...' a male thought with great amusement. Perched above on a high swung branch was a unique immortal by the name of Ikhauren. The shimmering dark green hair pulled back in a tactfully messy ponytail, and translucent feathered wings marked him decidedly inhuman, yet he seemed atypical to the mental image of fae, of blond beauties and tall stature.

Through a curtain of soft locks the male observed her dodge to the left, at the same time moving her sword-stick to her adversary's intangible throat, muttering "Yield!"

Ikhauren's lips curved into a slight smirk. Kirea -the girl- was taking this very seriously. He suddenly had half a mind to slide up to her and snatch her precious staff away! Then her face would turn a delightful purple, and she'd mutter a colorful collection of curses directed at, what else, pixies. He'd hear them all, of course, the pointed ears partially hidden behind dark green locks picking up every syllable.

Below, Kirea stopped her battle and swiped the sweaty bangs from her forehead. Silver eyes glinted one last time as the dusk finally succumbed to the seduction of night. She tilted her head back, studying the spot the immortal sat. Large stormy gray eyes widened slightly, a flush lighting beneath his cheeks. If Kirea only knew how she looked in those quiet moments, the breeze fluttering her dark hair... Ikhauren paused admiring her clever beauty to smirk. 'If Kirea only knew a lot of things...'  She blinked and turned away, suspicions swayed by the magic that caused all people to brush encounters with his kind away without a second thought.

A wicked grin shifted onto his undoubtedly attractive face. Floating to the grassy ground, the green-haired male mischievously let a small whistle past pursed lips. She started, messy hair flying as she worriedly looked for a source. After a few seconds, she halted her searching gaze and shrugged.

He chuckled. She was so cute!

Ikhauren gathered a ball of faded light energy into his hands, holding it there for the time being. The gray-eyed non-mortal moved behind an unsuspecting Kirea, loosely looping his arms around her shoulders, though she would only feel a brush of contact. He released the harmless energy right in front of her face.

She shouted out, eyes dilating from the sudden burst of light.

Quietly snickering, the dark green-haired immortal danced back.

Kirea was cute, and so much fun to mess with!
