When I did wake up the train was calling Osaka and Caid was eating rice balls. I snatched one and nibbled on it while watching his playful glare.

“Were almost to Osaka.” He informed. I nodded a `I know.' We stepped off making our way out and down the busy streets to Osaka Castle, which in our luck was not too far away. I spotted Marissa hanging on Jason in the crowd watching a street performer. I grabbed Caid's hand and sped off to grab Marissa by the arm. She spun around and almost choked me from how hard she ended up hugging me.
“We were so worried about you…is this your friend?” She said eyeing Caid behind me, watching a glaring Jason.

“Yes and be nice Jason.” I said looking at my good friend who didn't even meet my eyes.

“Can I speak to you alone Liana?” He asked still eyeing Caid and looking completely like a concerned parent.

“Liana you know this guy is 20 and you're only 16 doesn't it look weird!” I snatched my hand back and gazed back mad and frustrated.

“Jason, I know how to live my life, and I sure as hell know how to take care of myself!” I turned to storm off towards Marissa.

“Were leaving!” I went for Caid's hand but he looked at me with a `Don't do this.' I massaged my temples and turned to Marissa when something soared over the crowd.

“What the hell…” I mumbled. Caid grabbed me by the shoulders to break me out of the frustration period, to point at a covering.

“Go with your friends there I can take care of this.” He ran in the direction of where the flying thing had gone. I hurried to my friends and dragged them for cover.

“Stay here I have to help him! Trust me!” I let go of their hands and sprinted after him pushing the still people in fear of the black creature. I spotted Caid and ran faster, he had the gun out and was shooting but this time the bullets were made out of a light material. The bullet sped forward and missed the black creature's left wing, giving it a chance to come back and claw him in the shoulder. I pushed harder to get to him and fell, my tears fell and I felt weak. “I can't be weak…NO!” I screamed realizing energy, my wings growing, the sais forming in my hands and I pushed off the ground.

“Die bastard!” My wings larger than before helped to fly faster at the dark looking angel. His skin almost black, wings were scaly and his darting red eyes filled with fear. I shoved the sai into its black stone heart, his blood covered my hands and a little on my cheek. The thing disappeared but his blood remained stained to my hand, burning with treachery. I landed on the ground next to Caid and my wings vanished. Caid stood shocked, the gun down now at his side.

“If this is how it will be then I can spill blood.” I pushed past the people to the same place where I had left my friends safe.

“My life is changing its best you don't interact with me, I couldn't bear your loss…” my voice faded out and I turned away stern from my two dearest friends.

“No Liana! We will not leave you, we can't leave you in your most dire need.” Marissa reached across for my clenched hand but I heard a yelp as I saw Jason pull her back. He nodded his understanding and I nodded back, both knowing the meaning.

There weren't any attacks after that day at Osaka but for our safety Caid and I returned to America, away from the headquarters of the demons. In America, I was home and safe from what I felt was destiny. My small town house was still the same way when I had left it, clean and neat.

“You live alone?” Caid asked setting his stuff down and glancing around the room. I chuckled then turned to him.

“You sure know a lot about my past but the present you really haven't looked into. If you had you'd have known my parents have been dead for 3 years. All this and their money were left to me, and I was glad to because before I had to live with my aunt who drove me crazy.” I threw my bag on the nearest chair and flopped down on the couch. I peeked an eye open and watched him looking at a picture frame.

“Caid you don't have any family do you?” He became so quiet, I saw sadness cross his face and for a second I thought I almost saw a tear fall down his cheek. I didn't push the subject but hit the power button on thee remote and watched the news come up.

“People have scattered downtown due to an aerial attack, so far we are unsure of the cause but some people claim they are humans…”

“Looks like we have a job.” I sat up and headed for the garage, swinging a set of keys. I stepped over the motorcycles parts from my last mess to a pitch black motorcycle sitting patiently.

“I missed my baby!” I pulled my black helmet on and grinned from ear to ear.

“Where is my ride?” he asked smirking at my child like behavior, the sun reflecting off his black sunglasses.

“Over there.” I pointed at a red motorcycle, and saw excitement jump in his eyes as he trailed his hand over the body and revved up the engine. We sped down the streets to downtown where people and cars were in a giant mess, preventing us from getting to the sky scraper.

“Overhead!” I looked up in the skies a fallen(Dark angel) a demon and two angels were lashing out with weapons and power. The war seemed to have made it to my home and I was really pissed that I was going to have to deal with the whole war here. I hit the brakes and jumped off the seat into the air wings spread and flew in the direction of the fight and prepared to fight back.

“Step down fools!” They turned my direction and both flew at me to strike.

“Back off this isn't your war!” The demon spat back landing a hit against my weapon.

“Hell yea it is, don't make me hurt you all.” I landed a stab in each of their wings and sent them struggling to the ground below. Caid, below me was fighting the fallen and other angel. Finished with my work, swooped down and sat on my legs next to the two now fallen soldiers.

“I have no intent to kill you, this war is senseless, stop and I will spare you.” I pulled my helmet off letting my blond hair cascade down my back.

“Why do you try to stop us!” Venom spat from this demons mouth and I glared back that he would even try to start a fight when he and I knew he was unable to even defend a simple move.

“I fight for the earth and every living thing that has to feel the hell of this war that you have thrown upon them.” I sent the sai down into his spine and heard the crack of the bone and the blood pushed out of the wound and down his spine.

“And you angel?” I turned to this angel, he was young maybe a year older to me and my heart reached out to him to have to have such a burden put on him. He laid a hand down in and agreement manor and I rose to my feet to leave him there. Caid sat on the red motorcycle, sweat beads on his forehead deep within thought, so I didn't ask anything as I put my helmet back on. The drive back was silent and we didn't even speak with emotions through any expressions. The evening came but nether of us was hungry so we decided on sleep. I tossed and turned in my sleep old memories, those of ones I recognized and others I didn't that racked my mind over and over, a never ending horror movie.
I made myself wake up, sweating and shivering at the same time, I stood up on the cold tile floor to leave the room. I went to Caid's room, knowing he was awake because I was upset through the entire night. I slipped in down behind him pressing my face to his back and wrapped my arms around his waist. He slipped his hands up to mine and intertwined his fingers with mine in a securing way to tell me to sleep and I did to the sound of his heart and the thumb on my palm.

Beep! Beep! An alarm clock in the distance went off and slowly I tried to wake up and get out of bed but something heavy held me down. Two arms were tight and securely fastened to my waist and a face was buried in my hair. I kissed his forehead and rubbed his face with my fingers and slowly he woke up. He squeezed me tighter but then let go to wipe the sleep from his eyes.

“Time for school Caid, you'll pose as a senior at my school.” He gave me a look as if what I had just said had gone through one ear and out the other.

“When's breakfast?” He asked sleepily. I smiled and made for my room and clothes than to the kitchen to cook. The smells traveled throughout the house because Caid came in and sat down at the small table.

“Hungry?” I asked raising an eyebrow, He nodded and almost fell asleep in his seat. We drove to school in my black Jaguar, him sleeping in the passenger sleep, sir full blast on his face. People surrounded the car even before I had parked and making the same feelings for these simple minded people I had rise inside of me. I only had to have one foot out before girls I didn't know and had no desire to know would swarm me and ask about everything I did over the break. After they finished the guys would come and flirt hoping I might notice one or the other, but I ignored them, but it was worse when Caid woke up and slipped out behind me.

“Are you Lia's?” “Are you new?” “Wanna go out sometime?” These questions swarmed us and kept going and going until I grabbed his hand and pulled him through the crazy crowd and to the office to enroll him. Before classes began I turned and warned him about the people here, not to trust them at all and to watch for any trouble. I walked off to my first class and to my dread Marissa and Jason were in it, but I turned and walked to the back of the classroom, far away from people.
During one class a new student walked in and she had pure white hair and silver eyes, my first tip off that this girl wasn't human, but angel. The bell finely rang and I rushed to find Caid and his groupies, girls from his classes that had taken a liking to him.

“Ok back off him prissys.” I commanded parting them to reach him.

One yelled back, “He's not yours!” I turned to her and yelled, “Yes he is!” and before I knew what I was doing I kissed him hard.
